Not even 5 mins in an I know this is gonna be a great interview... Loved Kevin Campbell as a player! Arsenal thru and thru, ledgend, thanks for every thing you gave to the club. @ Mr DT - big up, I’ve not always been a fan of the AFTV stuff, but content like this is tops 👍 Good work!
Kevin campball is such a legend, he does so much charity work around the world too. Basically he goes to 3rd world countries and builds football pitches for the kids. It doesn't matter where you are from what language you speak we all understand football. This man is response for giving children who seen things no one should see a bit of there childhoods back. What more can I say. Check out this interview if you don't believe me ua-cam.com/video/AtTg14cyqpc/v-deo.html
Football is just all money now and it's strangling the passion out the game. KC talking about sneaking in to watch Arsenal as a boy just before kickoff, would never happen now.
ActionmanFX Christianity is nearly the same as islam .Islam is worse but not much difference.Secularism watered it down completely and saved its sorry ass.
Kieren Colbeck Tottenham have won 2 league cups in 27 years. Funny how nobody brings that one up. You won the same amount of titles in the second division as you've done in the first division. Well done.
Unfortunately foreign players these days don't give a shit about the North London Derby. Jack Wilshere seems like the only one that knows what it means to fans but he will no doubt be on the bench. I'd start Jack for this one but Mr Dementia Bean will fuck the team up as usual.
Kevin:Thank you for everything, you honestly were a legend,I genuinely mean that, the FAN in you comes out when you're talking, and it's so brilliant to see,and you could play mate, you NEVER let us down,I loved seeing you in a arsenal shirt.SO PROUD ....
I remember this guy forming an awesome partnership with Van Hooijdonk at Forest which got us back in the Prem in 1997-98. Was absolutely gutted as a 10-year-old to learn we'd sold him that summer. Even more gutted when I had to see him almost single-handedly saving Everton's bacon the next spring. Top player, great character.
Salute you Kevin!!!! Old school Gooner made of "steel" - saw you play for Arsenal in 1995 vs Kaizer Chiefs ( the football club not the group ) in Durban, South Africa and you scored the only goal!!!!!
Makes me sad the way football has gone. You look at that team from the late 80s and early 90s there was Adams, Campbell, Merson, Rocky, Thomas, Davis, Parlour and even Ian Wright who were local lads living the dream of playing for the biggest club in London. Now it's like watching a bunch of untouchable superstars who are just looking for the next big pay day.
I still wonder how the club let Wenger manage for 22years, with that bullshit Gazidiz,if it would have Chelsea, man u,or other top club, they would have sacked wenger.we are told the club was making profit with this mugs(Wenger and Gazidiz)how comes with those many years in regn the burget for arsenal was as little as 45m?I hate Wenger and Gazidiz.
Such an open and honest discussion between fan and former player, really good stuff DT. I have the unfortunate pleasure of being an Arsenal supporter myself, and after viewing this gripping interview, I just wanted to say, and sorry for the corny, sentimental article I'm about to go on, but no matter what the future holds for the Arsenal, no matter what old-fashioned anoraks, business titans, or sterling-eyed oligarchs are running the club (in other words, they are fucking Tories), it is ultimately football, the game we fell in love with at an infinitesimal moment in our lives, that keeps us supporting our beloved teams, going back to watch those euphoric moments, feeling the love of football in your blood, and in many cases, actively seeking to watch a game even when we're quite sure the ones we're rooting for will not triumph (pretty much Arsenal and England in a nutshell). There were some great exchanges in this conversation that epitomize this common ground we find in our passion for the game. The raw and joyful memories that were shared about Arsenal's title-winning sides under Graham, and the like-mindedness and sometimes lack of understanding that DT and Kevin had about the current status of Arsenal were really insightful and showed how much their club, but crucially, how much football means to people. The interesting thing here is, there is an absolute truth: we all want to have hope, and feel joy when we watch football. We all know that, regardless of who is running your club, what manager is in charge of the team, or what players you have, there is always a chance, that tiniest glimmer of hope that something special, something to savor for your life, can happen on the pitch. This video is showing admiration, fascination, and recognition of the beautiful game and how it can form bonds, unite the world, and bring people together. It's why that man sitting next to DT has traveled to some of the most poverty-stricken areas of the world and helped to promote and build football facilities to create a rare sanctuary of well-being and happiness for children who otherwise don't have the means to a peaceful, caring environment around them. Granted, this sport is not for everyone, and you will get your oblivious folk who hone their interest in whatever other things fill their heart's content, yet sadly more often than not mock you in that I-know-more-than-football manner by saying sardonically "Oh did you see that ludicrous display last night??" (IT Crowd fans will thank me for that one). Put simply, people have other things to do in their lives - I daren't disagree. Though I think I would be right in proclaiming that most humans on this planet, in this modern age, will find solace in the game of football. Anyhow, emotional, cheesy essay over. To finish, the biggest thing I wanted to get off my chest after watching this is: SPURS, THE ARSENAL ARE COMING FOR YOU!!!
Spot in Sir Kevin Campbell what a great bloke totally spot on about the way the club is run total shambles Sanchez and Ozil world class superstars will be gone Kroenke,Gazidis and Wenger a disgrace great interview DT
Totally agree. ...stuff gonna get toxic ..loved this club many years it's never been like this...over due the change...someone needs the balls for change...the Derby against tottenham big meaning...if we don't beat them God help wenger
Fantastic interview. Just reinforces my 10 yr old points about the club. When someone like Kevin Campbell can so eloquently disect the problems that are so deep then its all so clearly wrong. Well done DT. At least the heart of the club is still there - you just have to listen to Kevin to realize that. Such as shame that this kind of passion is not in the current players due to Wenger's mentallity
Thanks for this interview, great to hear a ex pro taking candidly about arsenal. Loved Kevin Campbell when I was a kid and he seems like an absolute gent. True gooner.
I was too young to remember his time at Arsenal as I was only 6 when he left us. However, glad I got to see him for Everton when we played them & on the telly. He was a brilliant striker & he looked good alongside Duncan Ferguson when Walter Smith used to play them together.
Our Kevin loved to have a bet ! Saw him one night at Crayford Dogs and he wanted 1,000 on the dog and the Bookie looked sheepish so he said " Do you want the bet or not". The bookie took it. It lost :)
dt everyone should be talking about who we will replace for mr wenger after one year and have we selected any managers or it will be like last seasons is he going or staying it will reflect on pitch
I REALLY HOPE THE UNDER-PERFORMING ARSENAL PLAYERS WATCHED THIS AND GET THE MESSAGE THAT THEY NEED TO BE MORE STEEL THAN SELFIE. MR DT IS AN AMAZING AMBASSADOR FOR ARSENAL AND WE NEED MORE OF THIS CONTENT TO HELP CHANGE COME TO THE EMIRATES. JAZZY D
he said at the beginning of each season you only have 4 things you can win and if you win 1 of them you have done really well so arsene done really well to win one last season just saying
The word legend is bandied about too easily, Kevin Campbell is not an Arsenal legend. Yes he had a successful career but he would not make it into the top 50 players to play for Arsenal.
But your missing what a legend really is. Kevin Campbell is the embodiment of what legend is - Arsenal through and through. Is Alexi Sanchez a legend? Ozil? Do they have our club in their hearts ? Not for a moment. Are they better players than Kevin C ? Unquestionably yes but who would you want in your side needing to dig out a point for the title at Stoke? Ozil ? mmm Alexis throwing his toys out the fking pram every three minutes ? Legends are not only good or great players they are players who would die for the club and Kevin Campbell has that in his blood ..LEGEND!
Ur a legend dt

Shit guy top top comment
Super Kevin Campbell, He was a great striker, saved us from relegation and played a crucial part in Arsenals success in the early 90s
Was the man who scored the winning goal at Anfield which is coincedintly the last time Everton won there
I think the fact that both Arsenal and Everton fans still hold him in such high regard speaks volumes!
Love how comfortable they both are in this interview.
Football is just all money now and it's strangling the passion out the game. KC talking about sneaking in to watch Arsenal as a boy just before kickoff, would never happen now.
SUPER KEV TOP MAN
Well done DT!! You're making the headlines..continue interviewing our legends😎 Wenger got nothing to say but to fill his pocket

Dt here trying to remind people what the arsenal used to be about!! I like it 👍
I will always love this club ♥️ #arsenalforever

Don't forget DT - we beat Munich in China during pre-season hahaha *cries inside* we're an embarrassment 😭
Great video, always liked Campbell, a proper player & his enthusiasm for your club is infectious

Kevin:Thank you for everything, you honestly were a legend,I genuinely mean that, the FAN in you comes out when you're talking, and it's so brilliant to see,and you could play mate, you NEVER let us down,I loved seeing you in a arsenal shirt.SO PROUD ....

Our Kevin loved to have a bet !
Saw him one night at Crayford Dogs and he wanted 1,000 on the dog and the Bookie looked sheepish so he said " Do you want the bet or not". The bookie took it. It lost :)
Well he won't have much longer....just have to write off next season unfortunately.
Find yourself a woman that looks at you longingly the same way DT stares at Kevin Campbell
What a good sport Kevin Campbell is. He said all the right words. Great interview DT.
LOOL Lord Sugar said Wenger is better than Fergie in the sky preview. That guy needs to stick to the apprentice haha.
