Idk how you are still alive when u fly at 2km away from the battle ! Each time i try an heli, if i be alive for more than 30sec, it’s a miracle x)
Fly low, and manual roll mode helps a lot in manoeuvres.
Understanding terrain and limitations of enemy SAMs is an added benefit.

Is the MH-60L DAP better than the AH-64D in your opinion?
For me, as someone who owns neither of those, it seems like they are both the same with the advantage that the AH-64D has access to a 30mm gun + 4x AA missiles while able to use 16 Air-to-Ground missiles.

Hey there, what do you use to slowly zoom in with the helicopter sight? I can only zoom from 0 straight to 100 and its quite a pain on certain helis..

After a bit of swedish 3.7 and russian 7.7 me gave US 11.0 a try. Seems great like a while ago. Hightier without 11.7s.

I was so hyped for this helicopter, but it's honestly pretty bad. Stingers don't seem to hit anything or lock anything right now, and the way this helicopter seems to have an entirely different series of physics than any other helicopter in the game doesn't help.
Every other helicopter rolls about its body. This helicopter rolls about its rotors. Don't know why, but it's very noticeable to me, and it makes getting rockets on target (manual roll mode or not) very hard, and I can't really get stingers on target with this guy either. But they also seem entirely incapable of tracking or destroying planes currently, so you are essentially only able to use Hellfire on enemy helicopters. They also often act like they've lost IRCCM. I don't know what's going on but apparently this happened a couple weeks ago and I just didn't notice.
What could make this helicopter kinda work is if it got its 30mm chain guns (same as Apache, as gunpods) and 7.62mm miniguns. Then, I'd have the option to punch Kamovs in the face with gunfire in self defense, like I do with the AH6M all the time.
Anyways, I fell in love with the AH6M trying to make the MH60L work. AH6M is a fantastic little helicopter for really weird gameplay. MH60L, at its current BR, is a far, far worse helicopter than AH-1Z at the same BR. MH60L needs to be 10.3 or 10.7 or something like that to make it usable and have any reason to exist.

I’m curious, why don’t you bring full ammo in the Abrams? With the 120mm gun versions, every single round has a blowout rack, so there’s no disadvantage in survivability.

@@Hunter_i86 I’ve found that it can’t get you killed. If the ready rack gets hit, it cooks off, but the rest of the bustle does not.
@@TJ042 But if there are more rounds, there is more area to trigger the blowout panel (and therefore remove all of your bustle) if there are less then a round may go through part of the bustle with no ammo and avoid a blowout detonation

Just sickening how much Gaijin nerfs American weapons. These tanks are eating these hellfires like they are firecrackers. Yet the Russian equivalent will go through 6 tanks. >.>

Not sure what you watched, but I saw most of the Russian tanks blowing up with one hit.
Now the GERMAN tanks on the other hand, like the Leopard 2 that ate 2 hellfires (including one into the side, wtf) at 17:00 - those definitely need to be nerfed. I've seen the exact same thing happen using Vikhrs, many times.
Also, I don't mean to be rude, but what is the Iraqi/Jordanian perspective on this helicopter? I just realized how incredibly differently people from the Middle East must view this aircraft.
I used to see it a lot in Baghdad after 2003 invasion, for maybe 10 years on daily basis, it became ordinary routine. They used to fly in pairs, at low altitude passing over our house and sometimes they flare. And now after I returned to Baghdad for therapy I feel it is weird how the sky is clear and no Blackhawks around anymore. The special thing about this chopper is how it is widely and commonly used by militaries, it is the Mi-8 of the U.S. I mean I saw Chinook escorted by Cobras too when I was in Baghdad but on rare occasions and they usually fly high, I remember how noticeable the Cobra rotor sound was because it has two blades.

@@Hunter_i86 That's really crazy to hear the other side of. Daily! Flaring! I live within a couple hundred miles of Ft Campbell, Kentucky, which is where 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment is based (the unit that operates the DAP, MH47, MH6, AH6M, and other MH60s, and ferries all of America's SOF around on helicopters) so I've seen MH47s and MH60s with refuelling booms flying around my whole life too.
I did go on Ft. Campbell for training once, and heard and saw their practice attack runs for two weeks straight flying over our heads. It was pretty cool.
Isn't exactly daily for me though! Maybe once a week in normal life. Might try to go fly them!
Seeing Cobras is really crazy to me, too. The only Cobras I've ever seen were Zulus. My brain always forgets how long the Army had AH1s in service.
@@nick4819 Mix of Russian and U.S stuff. Some Su-25s, Havocs, Mi-35s, Abrams and F-16 Block 52 as well! but with Sidewinders and air to ground weapons only, no Sparrows nor AMRAAMS as far as I heard, the reason why F-16C in WT got the Iraqi camo among other camos.
American teams are the worst right now because the abrams has such bad armor
I think helis should be removed from RB. Too powerful, and almost no protection from it.
