This Arc was awesome , i forgot so many good things. Oda wanted to includ Tony Tony Chopper as a mascot first but after so many fans love him, he has a real place in the crew of the Mugiwara.
i remember bawling when i saw the "cherry blossoms", and it takes a ton to make that happen

Chopper has one of the sadest backstory . And his sendoff from Dr.Kureha was just amazing and shows how much she love him actually. And honoring Dr.Hiruluk too. And yeah Chopper is like a Son for her and Dr.Hiruluk.
this episode explain why Dr Kureha is "THE BEST HEROINE" for chopper and me.
Man, I've gone through One Piece so many times, both on my own in the manga and vicariously through reactors on the internet.
It never occurred to me that Kureha's "are you happy?" is foreshadowing her dislike of tears. What a wild idea that I am now adopting.

Chopper grows cuter as he grows older. He is cuter now in the 1000s chapter compares to the one in the 100s chapter
Oda didn't intend to have Chopper as a cute character at first (in fact he did not draw Chopper back then as cute as he does now), but he gradually changed his drawing style to a cuter one because Chopper in anime was so much cuter than he expected.
