YOU ARE A LIFE SAVIOR!! I have my exam tomorrow and this is the example that I have in my book as well! I failed my quiz for this and now I can finally ace it in my exam. This helped me so much. God bless you!
Thank you Dr. Bharadwaj, I am a student at another PASSHE University taking an Operations Management course and this really helped me! I was presented with the same material, but for whatever reason I was missing the relevance of low level coding, and your video helped me put it all together. Many Thanks!
Mr. Bharadwaj do you have any video about Customs Issues & Procedures and International Transportation and Trade, also Essentials of Freight Forwarding, customer service and sales and Inventory control
Shouldn't the projected on-hand be zero for each of the materials A,B,C in the weeks 8,7,7? There is no Safety Stock consideration. If SS were considered, then the on-hand numbers are correct but the net requirements would change to 50,80 and 120.
@@mallutv3695 It certainly can. This is a simple example of one order (demand) in week 8. In reality, there can be demand in each of the weeks in the planning horizon.
@@prashanthbharadwaj9771 Thankyou for replying sir... One more doubt, How we do this problem, if "order quantity" is given in the question for each items?
What if quantity of D is 1 (meaning you need 1 D to male 2 B’s and need 1 D to make 2 F’s and 3 C’s.) How would you calculate D’s demand? Same way by multiplying parents and children? Please advise

Thx you man !!!!! Really awesome
Thank you for your lecture :)
The first gross requirement 50. Will it be given or we have to somehow find it ourself?
Thanks in advance
It comes either from the MPS of from the planned order releases of the parent item. In this problem, it was given.
Thanks

Sir , here we've demand "50" came on 8th week only?
Will it come on other week columns as well?
