I am SO excited about this video!! My favorite skin tint won, Wet n Wild!! I turned 60 this summer, and received this as part of a gift. I put it on with my fingers, added eyebrows, blush and lip gloss... then took some selfies. I sent these pictures to my family and friends, and even my older brother said I looked gorgeous!!😱😱😱

I had to retire early due to chronic health issues, so I spent a year trying many affordable foundations/skin tints. I have a large collection now, but always reach for the two mentioned above!! I'm looking forward to 2023 and more wonderful videos!!❤❤❤
Oh I’m SO glad two of your favorites were on there!! 🎉 I LOVE both the wet n wild and Believe Beauty! To be honest, I think the drugstore foundations this year were incredible, almost every drugstore foundation I tried I either liked or LOVED, versus high end, where I had a quite a few instances of either not being blown away, or being downright disappointed. This video was great! I just found your account and instantly subscribed as soon as I watched this video. 😊 I love Believe Beauty foundation. Occasionally I will look in the car mirror and think “dang my foundation looks good!” and think of which foundation I used that day. I finally realized every time I did this, I was wearing Believe Beauty foundation! It really is an amazing foundation. As soon as my Believe and Loreal serum foundations are gone, I’m going to buy the LYS foundation 😊

I found this video both helpful and overwhelming. I'm new to makeup so this gives me a lot to think about before I buy foundations.
I can definitely see how this could be overwhelming. If I had to narrow it down, and if you have mature skin, I would choose Loreal Serum foundation, Neutrogena serum foundation, or LYS foundation. Those are just my thoughts 😊

What a great video! I sat here trying to guess what the winners would be, i was right on the Loreal i had it used it didn't like it but am tryingbagain, because yes it did look like they have added more colors and I got it for a song at Amazon but i have to wait for two weeks. I have the Tom Ford being delivered tomorrow so I'll see how that goes in the mean time, maybe I'll give the Revlon colorstay a try while I wait as well. I loved this episode. Thank you. I would love to see a comparison of wayne goss cream foundation vs. monika blunder cover. I've tried to drugstore dupe aka loreal 4 and 1 balm that everyone raves about but it dulls my skin.

Bravo on a great video!! I appreciate all the work you do for us. I think I'll dig my LYS foundation out of the throw-away bag meant for cosmetics decluttering. I never could get it to look good on me, but I think I'll give it another try now that I'm using different serums and moisturizers. It gets one more chance. @@foundationlady I still rely on my Sneaky Balm. I'm glad you gave it an award. I'll admit I'm addicted to foundations. I enjoy using different ones on different days, depending on how my skin is behaving or what mood I'm in. Your videos are so vindicating for me. None of the women in my family wear much makeup, so I love watching reviews and tips from women (and men) who understand and enjoy makeup like I do. May I confess something to you, Our Lady of Foundations? My skin has been so dry with the change in weather that I thought I needed a foundation meant for drier, older skin. I'd seen all these reviews raving over the Chantecaille Future Skin Cream Foundation and Chanel's Sublimage de Teint so I took the plunge and bought the Future Skin, which is expensive but it was on sale. It was rather drying and I couldn't get it to look good. On a whim, and because I was so disappointed in Future Skin, I ordered the Sublimage de Teint, which is $135!! I had no business buying something that pricey!! I reasoned that if it turned out to be a good foundation it could be worth it. Well, it was awful on me. I tried everything to make it work. My $8.49 SheGlam cream foundation was far better in comparison!! My $11 Mehron cream foundation was better! Fortunately, the failure Chanel was easy to return. And I've made peace with the Chantecaille after some experimentation. Yes, I am a foundation junkie. Thank you so much for your kind words. Can't wait till your next video! I'll let you know if I can finally make friends with the LYS.

@@foundationlady no holiday bustle here unfortunately. On my birthday, the 23th, I tested positive for corona. No birthday, no Christmas for me this year. I was very sad about that, but luckily isolation helped, the rest of the family didn't get positive, so they could go celebrate. I didn't get very sick though, so that's good. Isolation period is over now, so let the new years party begin! Wishing you a wonderful new year, with even more growth of your channel and lots of lovely foundations!

I love the LYS created by a black company! The foundation and the blush are breath takingly beautiful, at a price, between drugstore and department store! I have ruddiness in my light medium foundation, been trying the cool shades, can I go with neutral shades instead?
Ooooh! I haven't tried their blush yet! I'm going by SEPHORA today, and I'm going to look for them! 😍As far as the ruddiness goes... is the redness on your face? or do you feel that the foundation itself looks too red? many times a neutral foundation (especially one with slight olive undertones) can be beneficial in counteracting redness in the skin! Of course neutral shades are generally the hardest to find, and olive neutral unfortunately can be even more of a challenge... Also, without seeing your skin tone in particular, I want to make sure I don't lead you down the wrong path my friend! So if you don't mind my asking, do the cool shades you've been trying out look too "pink" on your skin? I usually tell people that "in general" if the cool tones look too pink and the warm tones look too yellow, then you may be a mix of the two which is considered neutral. If you think that's the case then a neutral colored foundation would be the way to go! 🙂 Let me know if you have any other questions! 🤗

The it cosmetics cc cream I can no longer purchase because the shade fair is a little bit too dark for me. My holy grail would be the lancome tient idole ultra wear however I have not repurchsed it because I have others to get through first 🙂

The Missha Perfect Cover kept my age spots faded for years. Does have a downside- if you get an older tube, it doesn’t perform as well as a fresher one. 😬 Even though it’s my perfect shade (#13), I’ve been wearing the Purito (even though #21 is too dark) instead of the Missha for that reason.

And Does Nyx can't Stop foundation oxidize? Should we buy a one shade lighter than our skin tone?

I'm in no rush, i don't like shiny skin and i want to use a non-comedogenic, matte finish and lightweight foundation daily over my untinted and shiny sunscreen, but I don't know what foundation would be good,I thought maybe Nyx would be good. Reveal or concealer and clouds at powder are just pipe and lies. I purchase both the minute they dropped, of course, and I stopped following some influencers after that because I knew at that point that those were paid paid people to to tout those products on any light, setting powder is going to give you the exact same result as a cloud set and the wet and wild incognito concealer is honestly Absolutely the same as the revealer concealer. I did three days in a row of wiring Cosas under one I incognito under the other cloud set on 1/2 of my face and the Sephora collection powder on the other side and you literally couldn’t tell the difference I couldn’t tell the difference so just FYI for everybody it’s all hype. It’s all BS.
