I just watched this recently and I really felt bad for Comrade Choi who sucrificed a lot for her but did not win her heart. He should have been the lead character from the looks and acting skills, Jin Wook must have been the main cast.

I love him! I wanted myung wol to end up with him so bad (but of course these kdramas rarely give me the end couple I want). I always end up loving the second lead more. wish he had a happy ending (not all scarred and not with in ah). he's so handsome.

Ugh why are these secondary guys always my favorite?! Choi Ru is an excellent example. (Just like Yong Hwa was for Shin Hye in You're Beautiful!) Aaah the pain of loving the secondary guys..

I like him because he is the typical cold man with a gold heart. At the end, he falls in love with the rich girl and for me he suits better with south Korean girl than with his North Korean comrade. The problem with this serie was the zero chemistry between male and female characters. For me the story of Choi and Inh was more interesting.
