Daryl is great because of his versatility. He executes all these very different ideas that he has so well. I don't know many artists that can put out this many ideas throughout the musical spectrum and have them done as well as this.

I can't believe I've stooped to arguing on youtube, BUT... has it occurred to anyone that maybe Daryl isn't so angry any more, hence no new GJ? Glassjaw are my favourite band, but EYWTKAS came out when I was 15 and I'm 29 now (sob). A LOT of time has passed and Worship & Tribute was a lot lighter anyway. I love that he has evolved and is still relevant. Saw him in Melbourne this year with GJ and it was fucking phenomenal. The end.

They can make more mellow, ambient textural shit as they showed on all of those releases. I just want a continuation of what they did on Coloring Book. :(

Massive 'Jaw fan and I think this is good. The instrumental is incredibly well written and well played almost reminds me of go go music and 80s king crimson but more emotive and less cacaphonic.
Damn, this song just gets better with time.
So this is what Darrel is up too these days. Just listened to both Head Automatica albums and wondered what he's up to.

I can't believe that I'm just now finding out about you guys. This is just fucking insane! I've listened to this song over and over and over again. This is quite possibly the best work I've ever heard out of Daryl, even though I'm a huge GlassJaw and Head Automatica fan. I want more of this style. It's really incredible! :)

mate this isnt glassjaw if you want glassjaw look up glassjaw. color film is a different band show some respect there are other members in this band. they want to make music. if you dont enjoy it leave simple. imagine if you were a musician in a band and there were people saying to your vocalist to go back to his other group it would feel horrible. i would feel like my efforts and time isnt worth shit.
if you spent time listening to this genre of music then you could make judgements. but keep them to yourself. allow someone else to make their mind up. rather than blurt out half assed comparisons and reviews

This is great though, where is the damn EP? And all the gj fans crying about a new record, I feel you but I doubt it will happen. These guys kinda took it up the ass from the music industry and haven't been treated well. I think they are just bitter and tired of putting so much effort into shit. Either that or they all just have plenty of money and enjoy doing gj as a hobby once in a blue moon. People lose interest in stuff.
