Congratz brother. I've been diving for over 30 yrs you'll be amazed at all the beauty that can be found beneath the waves. Its also good for the soul to take a break from the refit process. You don't want to burn out before you finish her. Fair winds and following seas brother
Try to get atleast your Advanced open water. It will teach you better buoyancy control and you'll get to do a night dive which is scarier then hell but also amazing at the same time lol
That's fantastic that you got your scuba certificate it's going to be well needed when you're out there in that sailboat you can see a lot of pretty stuff..... Awesome video thanks for sharing all those pretty fish... 🦈🐟🐠🦀🐙🐌🐡🐬🐋
Sailor James .... How about getting your camera lady in the video once in awhile... All we got to see with her hands...LOL.. sure am looking forward to your next video my friend... As always be blessed...BBE... 😀😎🐟🐋🐬
Yup, that was a nice big bass. I scuba dived in a swimming pool once and thought it the next best thing to being able to fly. The waters where you were look stunning. Over here visibility is very low. Nice vid, thanks for sharing.
yeah the visibility at Catalina is crazy, I have snorkeled a bunch but scuba diving was a whole other experience for sure! once I got over the anxiety of,,, oh you know,,, drowning, I did fine.
No. It's the kind of spotted looking bass...www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/a/a5/Paralabrax_clathratus.jpg/1200px-Paralabrax_clathratus.jpg&imgrefurl=en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paralabrax_clathratus&h=745&w=1200&tbnid=6FsQuGir9eBkqM:&tbnh=124&tbnw=200&usg=__qnucwJqyb-_MTExzVcrFtvMaA-0=&vet=10ahUKEwjEg_fIid_WAhWIiVQKHftaCpwQ_B0IoAEwEw..i&docid=5YQjfM36a1dhVM&itg=1&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjEg_fIid_WAhWIiVQKHftaCpwQ_B0IoAEwEw#h=745&imgdii=NjLlPgXDELvHdM:&tbnh=124&tbnw=200&vet=10ahUKEwjEg_fIid_WAhWIiVQKHftaCpwQ_B0IoAEwEw..i&w=1200
You will be able to make about a third to half of the bucks You need cruising with a working scuba gear and willing to do the occasional dive-job for Yachties (says someone who does not dive himself). By the way: another third could bring a sailrite sewing machine and enough current aboard to repair what the Yachties tear apart when going out twice per season.
totally! and I am always down to work! I will have a sail rite with me for sure and I know how to sew so that helps, I might try to get an apprentice ship at a sailmakers loft here in LA next year so I can learn the ins and outs of sail making and repair from the professionals.
