Even better looking (by a bunch) than the Evoque! Saw one on the way to work in a light blue/grey and almost rolled down the window to say "great pick"! Thx Lauren!
Now THIS is a great review! Its right up your alley! Couldn't think of a hotter young woman who knows her stuff, to review this amazing machine! Think that's ablast? wait til you get behind the wheel of the Trackhawk! Not happy at all about them eliminating the Diesel! Hint: Diesel engines get great gas mileage! As a result, you spend LESS time at the pump and the big bad Oil companies can't have that! However, I AM glad that they added a supercharger rather than a turbo. I not a fan of turbo engines. The only issue with the supercharger is , it most likely will be very thirsty and the oil companies love that! A true beauty driving a beast! Can't get better than that! .....That is, until you get behind the wheel of the Trackhawk!
I have driven the Trail Hawk. It is a lot of fun but it’s not for everybody. There are other vehicles out there that are more sophisticated and as PT Barnum said, “there is a butt for every seat”
@@CarCoachReports The Trail hawk is a Tricycle in comparison to the Track Hawk, Princess! This particular Range Rover is the one to get! This or the Autobiography LWB.
I have driven the track hawk as well. There are not too many vehicles that we don’t get the opportunity to test unless it’s something really unique like a Bugatti Veyron.
Hi Lauren just to correct you on one point Jaguar Land Rover Still make for other markets like the United Kingdom where I am from the diesel powered models of the Range Rover family line-up including the Velar they just don't sell any diesel powered models of the Velar in the USA and Canada but they do sell them to the rest of the world just so you know.
I was waiting for the velar to arrive. I love the look and design even tho in person it’s smaller than I thought! As a Value proposition , comparing maintenance, time value of money, green emissions, a Tesla Model Y offers the same utility in usefulness 0-60 in 4.2 seconds for $52,000 or $60,000 performance Model is 3.4 seconds. The extra $40,000 gets you a unique R Dynamic, and nice vehicle with massaging seats lol but I would rather utilize that chunk for more investing! Thanks for the great review!
Nope the Tesla's don't offer the same utility, not to mention that they have no soul. Acceleration isn't everything. The Velar has character. Right from the design, engine, quality and luxury quotient everything is simply better than what you get in the Tesla Model Y. Not to forget off road capability, the Velar can go off road while the Model Y will run away when it sees a rough patch off road. You see Tesla's are made for people like you, who want more acceleration for less money. You can't compare different classes of vehicles with one another.
@@LordTechPro with my extra $30,00 I can buy an off road vehicle too lol - anyhow the Cybertruck for $50,000 end of the year will blow the Velar away off-road on road in maintenance efficiency and fun factor. But to each their own !
@@L1GHT119 Buying two vehicles to do two things, when you can have one which does everything defeats the purpose. Let's see if the Cybertruck even gets to the production stage as it was shown. You can't compare a V8 SUV to an electric SUV. Each to their own
It's funny, I don't use 3/4's of the tech in my car, never used android auto, only use the cars maps a couple of times, run everything through apple car play, tried using the Subaru app a couple of times thought it was pointless; DESPITE that...the one thing that drives me bonkers is screen lag, absolutely makes me crazy. I think it's because when I actually do interact with the screen I don't want the experience to suck. Screen lag on a $95K vehicle is a deal breaker to me. Just my $.02
I love the channel but 5 min in to it there a lot of talking and not to much showing the vehicle display the vehicle more while u talk. Just my opinion 🤷
Outdoorsy driving with those wheels and tires is forget it. You are smoking something if you think any one buying this vehicle is taking it four wheeling. This is a mall cruiser
You can get bigger 1 inch larger 22 inch wheels or 2 inch smaller 18 inch wheels. Land Rover recommends that you choose 20 inch wheels or smaller for better off roading, but that is only for rocky terrain. The vehicles in their promotional videos had 22 inch wheels while on grass, mud and when water fording. 20 inches is the sweet spot, just enough sidewall when you air down while off roading, while not looking out of place on the road.
Lauren...I'd be very happy to suffer with a slower, less problematic, greater gas mileage, better warrantied top line Hyundai Palisade as a daily driver. $48,000 less . Prestige is way overpriced and looses big $$ after a few years.

Thank you. Really enjoyed this ride!
I like her reviews. She communicates very well, and the numbering system is very helpful!!
😊 Thank you
I love mine. Best SUV I’ve owned thus far.
You give an excellent review. When you began driving and said, “ Holly Crap”, I knew you were raised around brothers.
Thanks God, I will buy one for myself
This car is amazing
Thanks for this vedio
Best wishes for you
My dream Car.❤❤
Wonder what is the quality like for LR these days.
What are you thoughts on Range Rover Velar reliability? Does the back of the car look too boxy to you? Thanks

It’s a different type of vehicle for a different type of usage. You’re looking at electric this is about performance
