Lucky for me, I already got Opera GX based on a recommendation from Charlatan Wonder! I gotta say, I'm not the most tech-inclined person, but I do appreciate it's standard Dark/Night Mode setting, and that I can have multiple tabs open at once, and it not affect my laptop's performance as it would if I were using Chrome. Plus the built-in ad-blocker is a nice bonus too! 👌🏻
Banjo kazooie was the first 3D game I ever played, on a friends N64. That’s when I fell in love with games, begging my parents for a game boy and falling down the Pokemon rabbit hole. Love your videos, the flash games ones are my favourites! Your style of humour cracks me up. XD Keep up the great work!
You should also do a video on Banjo Kazooie Nostalgia 64 (Originally stay at home) when it releases. It takes levels and themes from a variety of N64 games and sometimes non 64 games like DKC 2, DK64, Goldeneye, Yoshi Story, Conker and even more! It's gonna be it's own full length game like this, so check it out.
Have you played the GameBoy Advance Banjo Kazooie game? I haven't played it myself, but I've heard it's a pretty good translation of the Banjo Kazooie formula into something the GBA can run.
I've seen a review with decent gameplay. It made me think of Link's Awakening, where it was good in spite of being a "downgrade" from A Link to the Past due to being on the GameBoy.
5:54 Mark brought up the reason for this during Jiggies of Time's development. Originally he tried to make Jabu Jabu's Belly a fully realized area only to hit a snag. That snag being BK's camera refusing to cooperate with Jabu Jabu's level design, resulting in the dungeon being condensed into a smaller area. The same camera snafu obviously affected the Forest Temple as well, resulting in a part of that level being cut out.
The designers name you mentioned right at the beginning sounds so similar to the guy who did most of the music for RARE back in the day lol weird coincidence I guess. Or I wonder if there’s any connection between the developer and becoming for interested in RARE titles when he saw someone who worked on it that sounded like his last name??? Hmmm curious!
