Ego…. I played college football. It’s all about ego. Especially When you see something on film you can take advantage of… instead of shutting up and execute there where guys that always wanted to let the other team know. Here is the thing when you are in the team meetings review film… coaches review your mistakes as well as the other team. So teams know their flaws bulletin board talk really gets you to clean up your weaknesses and flaws.

I sort of feel bad for my great friends that are Bengals fans. They don’t think it is cool with the attitude when in interviews. Since it is not backed up 9 out of 10 times.
When players like Chase can’t help but have attitude (out loud) before let us say a Chiefs game, thinking it is a whole dunk with going on with that ”Burrowhead” talk far too long, or look like a sulking teenager that refuse to say Mahomes name in an interview. And now this. Fine if they had several rings and more than one trip to the SB. But without it, it is a bit embarrassing. Like why look like you aren’t smart enough to be a bit strategic with what you say outside of the locker room.

"Chatter" i think the media has been blowing the "trash talk" way out of proportion. He was asked specifically about Xavier Worthy and how to slow him down, so when you take it with that context, he didnt say anything wrong. Now this time around, what about "college" anything is inherently disrespectful? There are great college offenses and defenses.
