Hands down. Favorite boss. Wonder why kris was affected so much by this one. Certainly got more questions than answers by the end of this, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Rip mettaton's counterpart
Personal opinion is that they both fear/loathe the idea of being a puppet, so the concept of watching someone with power (similarly to Kris) losing their freedom when they believed they were so close must've shook something deep within Kris. Though I'm not sure. It could also just be that Spamton getting a little too close for comfort many times and threatening their soul like that was genuinely scary to them somehow?
Snowgrave Spamton: KRIS I HAVE [SNORTED] 5 SUIT CASES FULL OF [Sorry, you can’t access this website at this time] AND IM STARTING TO FEEL THE [Bodily changes] [Insert Spamton Laugh]
A joker card that is not used and locked away during games and a spam ad that's usually blocked and ignored by most. Both are usually up for debate on what they actually do. One can hypothecally be anything. And the other's true nature is completely unknown. But both trapped, either by bars or strings. One truly believes he is free inside his prison, the other wants to be free of his strings, yet cannot live without them. What could be next? Chapter 3 can't come sooner
It really depends on what the area is supposed to be based on, chapter 1 was based on the classroom/closet which has things like checkers, chess, cards, so the secret boss being a joker card makes sense. Chapter 2 had a computer lab so the layout was based on technology, video games, computers, wires, so the secret boss being a spam ad makes sense. I’m very curious what the layout of the next area is going to be in Chapter 3 since we see at the end of Chapter 2, Kris creates a new dark fountain in his living room (the tv was also on doing static, and the front door to the house was also opened)…
@@aaricbro. most likely gonna have to do with TV shows, aka Studiopolis Zone from Sonic Mania to give a broad description watch as the Chapter 3 boss is a decommissioned game show host/cartoon character and the track is called "Off The Air" or "We'll Be Right Back", something along those lines
@@ZVAARIcontinuing with the theme of freedom (or lack thereof), i think Floating On (the) Air would be neat as a bit of a double meaning, both meaning “floating on air” as the metaphor of being free or otherwise happy, and “on air”, on television, where it’s often scripted or you need to play by rules to be accepted
Fun fact (for those of you that don't know): you can actually control the soul that inhabits Kris when they chuck it into the birdcage in the ending of Chapter 1. Believe it or not but you can very slowly float the soul around the cage. This quite literally cements the fact that WE are in control of Kris, WE are the puppetmaster. Which could very much explain why Kris gets goosebumps and why they are so fucking disturbed after you fight Spamton NEO. They know exactly how it feels to crave freedom and be perpetually bound by strings. Both of them will never be truly free, at least, for now.
@@cirno9999 Yeah Kris might be free, but as we've seen in the endings of both chapters, they limp whenever they rip their skul (the player) out of their body and we can see that it hurts them, so then we can assume that if they're without their soul for a certain amount of time they'll most likely die. So while Spamton could use the soul to become a real boy Pinocchio-style, Kris would probably die due to the lack of a soul, because they need the player.

That moment when you realize Spamton isn't just a deliberately terrible nightmare-fuel meme but a broken, enslaved person who's just afraid of the Dark... See, this is why Toby is good at this.
I know people with the mentality of "you can't beat the system from the outside" who promptly tied themselves up to become puppets of the system they disliked. But who am I to talk? Like the Jevil, lonely in mad enlightenment.
I think it's very clear why Kris was seemingly so affected by Spamton. A puppet destined to do the bidding of someone beyond them. The entire pacifist version of this fight is about trying to help Spamton cut his strings, only to find out that without those very strings, he's nothing. Kris is the exact same way, a slave. Toby Fox has legit gotten so much better at both character design, AND music, like I used to find some of the music was a little repetitive with the chorus, but dang, he did REALLY well on deltarune's ost
* He was... like the rest of us. * Just... a little unlucky. * For some reason, his products never seemed to hit... * ...and the Lightners never even looked his way. * ...Poor guy. * Night after night, when we all went to the same cyber grill, * He'd shoot his mouth about making it big someday. * "You just watch!" * "Someday," * "I'm gonna be a big shot!" * He started to get a little desperate. * I heard he started looking for any way to become more popular. * Somehow, he made the right phone call, and found someone. * Or, was he... found BY someone? * They must have been helping him, because suddenly, * He was on the phone all the time... * Suddenly, he got really good as his job. * The clicks started piling up... * What? What did he do? * Why did HE deserve this? * We were all so jealous of him, * We stopped going out with him. * I mean, wasn't he a big shot? * He didn't need us anymore, did he...? * Even so, he only got more and more successful. * He moved into a luxurious room in the Queen's mansion... * He started bragging about big TV deals, big cars, big commercials... * But then things started to crack. * It seems like whatever was helping him... * Disappeared. * His sales dropped to zero... * And everything came crashing down. * The day he was to be evicted from the Queen's mansion, * I went to his room to check on him... * But he wasn't there. * There was only a phone hanging off the handle. * He must've left in the middle of a conversation, * Because I could still hear someone on the other end... * ... * But when I put the receiver to my ear... * There was nothing but garbage noise.*

I think he didn't really care about the killing part. He just knew Kris was about to seal the fountain but he needed Kris' soul to break from his own strings
Spamton's story is pretty sad lol in the end spamton was so consumed on escaping being a puppet that he turned on his fellow puppet kris, and when kris tried to help spamton be free by cutting his wires, they just ended up killing him, showing to kris that the same thing might happen to them i believe part of the reason spamton neo's (pacifist) death is so dramatic and even has the additional hopeful moment before is because what it represents for kris, who seemingly trusted spamton so much because they were both puppets yearning for freedom
There’s a problem with your theory though. Kris can seemingly escape his puppet-ness whenever he wants by tearing his SOUL out, he actually chooses to put it back in after slashing those tires

that little bit between 1:35 and 1:41 (ish) is by far the most unappreciated. its difficult to explain but it feels like a miniscule break in the action where neither spamton or kris' team can get a hit in.
I like how the “Power of NEO” parts sort of sound like they’re just cut out and ytpmv’d from the song into this one. Like they don’t belong. After all, he doesn’t truly have power- he’s only able to maintain this form thanks to his strings.
And I feel like it's a take on his twisted actions, but he can be viewed as heroic in Snowgrave in a way, just in his twisted idea. Makes sense for the BAATH leitmotif to be here too through Power of NEO.
The samples indicate this uses bits from some Undertale tracks: .Ghost Fight/Dummy! .The “Pre Dummy” guitar riff .Power of NEO Along with Earthbound samples also used in “Now’s your chance to be A” The fact that this calls back to an Undertale genocide boss in terms of the Power of NEO bits and the obvious name and design of Spamton NEO is very interesting. Especially also how it affects Kris, which makes sense as both Spamton and Kris are being controlled by forces which they don’t seem to understand . Very, very, interesting.
There is something so unmistakably powerful about hearing the freedom theme being played over the Mettaton NEO theme at 0:55. It nails the "I am the true hero" vibe PERFECTLY

A very memey and jokey character like Spamton being turned into something major like this is the most Toby Fox thing to ever happen honestly The sampling done in this song is REALLY interesting, and also helps turn it into a certified banger (either that or i just like hearing familiar songs like The World Revolving reappear); I like the concept of giving DeltaRune the Mettaton NEO fight that never happened, it's a really intriguing concept because Mettaton NEO is specifically a Genocide Route event The fight itself is pretty sick, I'm so glad that the different SOUL Modes are being introduced now; I personally didn't find this fight hard, but I thought it was really fun Edit: I have indeed already done the Alternate Route in DeltaRune, and I managed to beat Solo Spamton NEO first try
Mad Dummy because he's a puppet Power of Neo because he's a power-up version (with human-like body) World Revolving because he's this chapter secret boss All combined makes this battle, the character and the song truly memorable
I decided to listen to a playlist of Deltarune’s soundtrack on shuffle. This played immediately after “You Can Always Come Home”. This might be the biggest possible shift in mood between 2 songs in this playlist.
You know, even though they're different universes, and such. There's something that I've been thinking about. "The more you distance yourself, the less you hurt." Even when doing the "Weird" run of Chapter 2, Spamton NEO becomes a defensive beast at the end, fully utilizing the NEO "suit's" defensive power to survive longer, while Mettaton NEO, no matter what, always gets destroyed in a single hit. So... Of course, the characters are completely different, both Kris/Frisk and Mettaton/Spamton... But what if Mettaton could not take the hit *because* he was so close to everyone else? Despite his ultimate robot body, his soul was still vulnerable to being hurt by someone who was used to hurting others. But Spamton on the other hand, is a forgotten puppet salesman, only trying to get himself to be a [B1GSH0T] at the cost of everyone else. Left alone by his only remaining friends and his "mentor" just to go slowly insane. So even when he is quite literally borrowing a broken piece of a machine, he still manages to bring this amazing power out of it. Not because he was determined, not because he had friends to protect, but because he truly was... Alone. More distance, less hurt. What a steal of a deal, eh?
The end fight makes me sad :( SPOILERS When Ralsei and Susie ask Kris what the hell that was and they say maybe it just wasn't important. Spamton's dream was to be important, relevant, and then they say he wasn't important :(

list of weird things Kris did: randomly told their party to stay behind while kris entered the QUEEN's basement. walked up to a mysterious machine and took out one specific disk. brought said disk all the way to Spamton, someone who attacked kris and is incredibly shady. knew how to insert the loaded disk into the broken machine. seemed to panic when the mysterious broken machine didnt turn on. didn't call for help when was ambushed by Spamton. once Spamton was defeated, Kris showed way more emotion than after Jevil's fight, an equally hard fight. Ralsei also seemed like he knew more than he was letting on. he seemed like he was trying to get kris to forget or not question what just happened.
"Ralsei also seemed like he knew more than he was letting on. he seemed like he was trying to get kris to forget or not question what just happened." Ralsei simply was not letting it get to him, considering he's one of the more optimistic characters in the game. Not letting something get him down in the dumps doesn't make him sus and frankly it's wild how he's suddenly thought of as a potential twist backstabbing villain waiting to happen which is... boring imo. He wanted to try and comfort Kris and not let it bang them up too bad (He will even hug you to try and comfort you, but that's ONLY if you hugged him at the boat ride, likely because of a boundaries thing he wasn't sure on before), especially considering for all we know, he knows nothing about the meta thing going on in this game that we're controlling Kris as a puppet and as far as I can tell is innocent, and he has shown to be naïve before (The King battle, which only shook him up because it was that very naivete that almost literally killed the first and only two friends he's had). Toby said he's just a fluffy boy, IK Toby says a couple of odd things here or there but I'm willing to trust him more on this. Let friendly characters be that way instead of always thinking they're plotting something.
I think it’s cause kris trusted spamton, a fellow puppet, he wanted to really help him be free, and was kind of scared when spamton attacked him, like a friend you’ve known forever going off on you for the first time
It's implied that spamton is very powerful hes just using most of it to hold himself together He has some control over the map He has links to being controlled like kris so he could probably use that to make them stay behind when kris us in the basement or shop

This boss is just freakin' insane, in theme, gameplay, and mind. Yeah Spamton's not as hard as Jevil, who took me 3 attempts and this one only took me 2, but the attacks are so insanely creative. Plus being able to use the yellow soul and literally use BIG SHOTS is so awesome! And yeah that leads into what I love about this battle, it's basically Mettaton NEO reincarnate. He's in a body very similar to Mettaton NEO, he's literally called Spamton NEO (and even says "Power of NEO" at one point), he has you use the yellow soul during his fight, and he even has a "heart attack" where he shows you his heart and you have to shoot it. Not to mention the musical references! Of course, there's the expected and other motifs, that are still used really well: 0:13 and 1:22 are Spamton 1, and 0:00, 0:25, and 1:49 are Spamton 2, his battle motif. There's also The World Revolving, played with the overarching saxophone melody at 0:54, tying Spamton to the other secret boss, Jevil, and sorta solidifying this lietmotif at the Freedom motif. Then there's the samples, most of which are brought over from NOW'S YOUR CHANCE TO BE A. At 0:15, 0:27, 1:26, and 1:49 there's the WOW! sound effect from Earthbound, sometimes with the echo, and of course at 0:24, 0:40, 1:34, 1:42, and 1:56 there's the "Now's your chance to be a big shot!" sample, often chopped a lot more too. There's also that secret message at 1:08, which seems to come out to, _"I think he's coming for me answer the phone. Can't explain till you're all alone. It pulls the strings and makes them ring, until your heart keeps BREAKING UP!_ _I think he's coming for me answer the phone, can't explain till you're all (said once panning right, and repeated shortly after in the left ear) o-o-O. It pulls the strings and pulls the strings and Tell ya what ya BIG SHOT!"_ The message has a lot to unpack, but it appears to be talking about how Spamton feels being controlled by either his creators or his code, especially being pulled by the strings, and the part about not being able to explain until you're all alone, and "Tell ya what ya BIG SHOT!" seem to be messages directly to Kris. Parts of this message are also used at 1:46, and for the "gibberish" at the end at 2:16. Those on their own are awesome ways to evolve Spamton's theme for this song, but where this song really shines is with the references to Mettaton and the other ghosts! At 0:14 the song uses the same sax from Ghost Fight, and the ghost synth from the same song at 0:20. 0:28 uses the Megaman soundfont used in Death by Glamour, and it straight up uses samples from Power of NEO at 0:55 and 2:02, and Dummy! at 1:30, 1:41, 1:47, and 2:16. At 1:08 You can barely even hear a synth from CORE playing a minor version of the Freedom motif! This really feels like Toby's heartfelt answer to us wanting a full Mettaton NEO fight, without ruining the story he created for Undertale. Also one last thing, if you go to Swatch (the shop guy in the Queen's Castle) after defeating Spamton NEO, he'll tell you that the body that Spamton takes over was designed by a Lightner. You know that house that looks like Napstablook's house? And that easter egg with someone accidentally leaving their diary in the library. Yeah, I think Hapstablook/Mettacrit might have something to do with this. :)
It actually states on Spamton's wiki page that the Lightner who gave up their hopes and dreams that became the machine used for Spamton NEO is Mettaton! Hapstablook describes themselves as a nobody In this timeline, Hapstablook would've never become famous, because there's no need for them to. The Monsters were never put under a barrier in this universe, but it was instead Humanity, plus Hapstablook seems to be too shy to do the things they do in UnderTale.

So I haven't seen anyone mention this, so I'll just say it myself. During this fight on the genocide route, everything that Spamton says to Kris actually describes Spamton perfectly. Every degrading, hateful line that he says applies to himself in some way. Makes me wonder whether he's talking to Kris or himself. Edit: ok, not EVERY line is like that, some of the lines are about specific actions made by Kris during the run, such as manipulating Noelle and giving Spamton the opportunity to take over.
I belive he is projecting himself into Kris to intimidate them. Since Kris is becoming powerful, Spamton can just say they will eventually lose all their power and be left alone, which is what happened to him.
The normal fight is brilliant, from the opening line to the part where Spamton loses all his power when his final string is cut. It really makes you consider the effects of Kris getting rid of you (and, apparently, it made Kris consider that too). He might be able to make a plan to throw you away, but at what cost? He doesn't seem to have any more than rudimentary control of his body without you, and without you, doesn't the game stop being played? Can he even exist then? The whole game thing also ties into Jevil and his insanity. Overall, the secret bosses are both wacky and cool, but they also really make you think about the psychology of Deltarune.
If this is the kind of stuff we get to see this early on in the game, and this is only Chapter 2 out of 7... I dunno about you, but we got a WHOLE LOT MORE BIG SHOTS out there. I can't wait to see what that'll be like!
I just realized that Spamton's theme's name is "Now's your chance to be a" and Spamton Neo's theme's name is "big shot" so it's actually really fitting
"Oh god, this Spamton character is annoying as hell. He's just some dumb one off meme made to pad out time, isn't he?" -Me after meeting Spamton for the first time And now, after doing that Spamton NEO sidequest and seeing his Mansion takeover in the alternate route, I'm really happy I was proven wrong.
For some reason even i don't know, when i had the first battle i said to myself "this guy is definitely this chapter's Jevil". Probably his dialogue and or looks made me think that, either way, it was an awesome "I KNEW IT" moment when i went to youtube and found out about Spamton NEO
@@gitg4d576 that and the fact gaster speaks with all caps and sans jevil and spamton are connected to him, its almost like toby knew to who the fans would flock to
Beyond the characters, we didn’t really have a connection to UTs events. Now? We have a direct connection to Something that only occurs in the genocide run. God, Fathers parting words and this might be the most perplexing things in this game. And now that we know that locked doors can become dark worlds? Even more theories to open up.
I happen to like Spamton a lot. His theme is amazing and his character is well-written. He’s not funny like Queen is, but his design and backstory are just so out-there for lack of a better term. When you think about it, he’s kind of the opposite of Jevil. One wants to be free and the other thinks he’s already there. However, both are still similar in the fact that they’re both hidden bosses who were influenced by someone unknown. People have speculated and said that it’s Gaster, but knowing Toby, it could just as easily be someone else. Another thing I found interesting was how Kris’s soul changed and how they showed fear, even after the fight. Up until that point, they haven’t really shown that much emotion except for when the first chapter ended. The Queen even comments on how Kris doesn’t show emotion or have very strong opinions on anything, yet something about Spamton caused them to be afraid. Perhaps it was Kris’s own insecurity. The concept of being something better appealed to them, which is most likely why they went alone to carry out Spamton’s tasks. Maybe after being constantly outshone by Asriel, they just wanted the chance to be good at something, a big shot, if you will. Throughout the chapter, everyone other than Ralsei talks down on them. If you look at the room Queen set up for Kris, you find out that they wanted to be good at something, be it magic or piano. Companies take advantage of this sort of thing, too, and design their ads around what their target wants. Spamton was no exception. Seeing Kris in their moment of despair, he took advantage and stepped in, seeing something that could help benefit him. Unfortunately companies aren’t usually your friends. They only see people as business opportunities. Once Stanton had achieved his goal, he had no need for Kris. The rest is history. At least, that’s just my theory. I don’t know how much of it is true, but I think it makes sense.
@@ELIMAKESSTUFFZERO Interestingly, in Chapter 1, the nurse/receptionist notes that Kris normally plays beautifully if you talk to them after playing the piano (which is also a plink) and notes they also looked pale and sickly. The secret scene that happens if you head south instead of going directly to the closet after gathering up the junk ball for Ralsei also has Toriel noting Kris has been acting strange(r than usual) recently. Either that’s related to the player controlling their actions or it’s something to do with the Knight. Personally I theorize that Kris is a part-time unwilling pawn to Knight since Noelle and Berdly seemed to recall being in the lab a bit before being transported, but seems they weren’t very clear about recalling how they got there. Ralsei at the very least didn’t seem to sense the fountain until after Kris and Susie jumped in, so Kris being the Knight doesn’t line up with the timeline regardless. I know everyone talks about how we can’t control Kris when they remove their soul, but there are a few cutscenes they move in their own with fountain sealing being the biggest example. So I think there’s more support for Kris being both body and soul. Whether or not there’s outside influence remains to be seen (the first time we saw them remove the soul turned out to just be sneaking out to eat the whole pie, after all).
this is probably the best theory i've heard about spamton and why kris was so frightened of the guy. it was like spamton was calling them out on being a puppet, just like him. i know it must have something to do with the fact that we (the player) are puppeting them, but i also wonder if the knight has some control over them too? like at the end of chapter 2, it seems as if it's setting up kris to be the one creating the fountains (as well as maybe going into a TV-themed dark world). also, another thing that my friend pointed out is that there was an internet outage mentioned in chapter 2. at the end of chapter 1, we see kris throw their soul in the cage, and brandish a knife. maybe they had something to do with the internet being cut too, like shambling over to the library and cutting the wires. i'm very interested in seeing where this will go next!
I remember somebody comparing jevil and spamton that jevil was completely gone when you meet him, nothing left but dust of memories, total insanity. With Spamton, there’s still something left, especially seen with the last scene with him. And the fact that he said he could never be more than a puppet I think just guts Kris. The way I’ve thought about it was Kris saw someone who was stuck similarly to themselves, so they wanted to help them because they know how horrible it is to be a puppet, and I guess in a way to prove to themselves that they can be strong enough to save spamton. The fact that it backfired so horribly and they couldn’t save him just wrecks them, because if they couldn’t save spamton, who’s to say they are strong enough to save themselves?

A joker card that is not used and locked away during games and a spam ad that's usually blocked and ignored by most. Both are usually up for debate on what they actually do. One can hypothecally be anything. And the other's true nature is completely unknown. But both trapped, either by bars or strings. One truly believes he is free inside his prison, the other wants to be free of his strings, yet cannot live without them.
What could be next? Chapter 3 can't come sooner
Ironically, Jevil seems to think everyone else is locked up and he's the only free one.

@@ZVAARI mike. The secret boss is going to be mike. I can feel it.
And that's why Kris limps without you because they cannot live without you
Who doesn't want to be a [BIG SHOT]
@@cirno9999 Yeah Kris might be free, but as we've seen in the endings of both chapters, they limp whenever they rip their skul (the player) out of their body and we can see that it hurts them, so then we can assume that if they're without their soul for a certain amount of time they'll most likely die. So while Spamton could use the soul to become a real boy Pinocchio-style, Kris would probably die due to the lack of a soul, because they need the player.
I noticed that we can move in the cage too.

Spamton's story is pretty sad lol
in the end spamton was so consumed on escaping being a puppet that he turned on his fellow puppet kris, and when kris tried to help spamton be free by cutting his wires, they just ended up killing him, showing to kris that the same thing might happen to them
i believe part of the reason spamton neo's (pacifist) death is so dramatic and even has the additional hopeful moment before is because what it represents for kris, who seemingly trusted spamton so much because they were both puppets yearning for freedom
This is a very interesting take
There’s a problem with your theory though. Kris can seemingly escape his puppet-ness whenever he wants by tearing his SOUL out, he actually chooses to put it back in after slashing those tires
@@masterspark9880 There might be a reason why Kris has to put us back in whenever they take us out. Maybe they can't live without us. They do shamble about whenever they're soulless. Almost like they're struggling to move

I like how the “Power of NEO” parts sort of sound like they’re just cut out and ytpmv’d from the song into this one. Like they don’t belong. After all, he doesn’t truly have power- he’s only able to maintain this form thanks to his strings.
and mad dummy too
And I feel like it's a take on his twisted actions, but he can be viewed as heroic in Snowgrave in a way, just in his twisted idea. Makes sense for the BAATH leitmotif to be here too through Power of NEO.
The samples indicate this uses bits from some Undertale tracks:
.Ghost Fight/Dummy!
.The “Pre Dummy” guitar riff
.Power of NEO
Along with Earthbound samples also used in “Now’s your chance to be A”
The fact that this calls back to an Undertale genocide boss in terms of the Power of NEO bits and the obvious name and design of Spamton NEO is very interesting. Especially also how it affects Kris, which makes sense as both Spamton and Kris are being controlled by forces which they don’t seem to understand .

You know, even though they're different universes, and such.
There's something that I've been thinking about.
"The more you distance yourself, the less you hurt."
Even when doing the "Weird" run of Chapter 2, Spamton NEO becomes a defensive beast at the end, fully utilizing the NEO "suit's" defensive power to survive longer, while Mettaton NEO, no matter what, always gets destroyed in a single hit.
Not because he was determined, not because he had friends to protect, but because he truly was...

list of weird things Kris did:
randomly told their party to stay behind while kris entered the QUEEN's basement.
walked up to a mysterious machine and took out one specific disk.
brought said disk all the way to Spamton, someone who attacked kris and is incredibly shady.
knew how to insert the loaded disk into the broken machine.
seemed to panic when the mysterious broken machine didnt turn on.
didn't call for help when was ambushed by Spamton.
once Spamton was defeated, Kris showed way more emotion than after Jevil's fight, an equally hard fight. Ralsei also seemed like he knew more than he was letting on. he seemed like he was trying to get kris to forget or not question what just happened.
He went to the basement alone because Spamton told him to go alone
"Ralsei also seemed like he knew more than he was letting on. he seemed like he was trying to get kris to forget or not question what just happened."
Ralsei simply was not letting it get to him, considering he's one of the more optimistic characters in the game.
I think it’s cause kris trusted spamton, a fellow puppet, he wanted to really help him be free, and was kind of scared when spamton attacked him, like a friend you’ve known forever going off on you for the first time
spamton told kris to do the first 4 things you listed, thats why they did them
It's implied that spamton is very powerful hes just using most of it to hold himself together
He has some control over the map
He has links to being controlled like kris so he could probably use that to make them stay behind when kris us in the basement or shop

Of course, there's the expected and other motifs, that are still used really well:
0:13 and 1:22 are Spamton 1, and 0:00, 0:25, and 1:49 are Spamton 2, his battle motif.
It pulls the strings and makes them ring, until your heart keeps BREAKING UP!_
_I think he's coming for me answer the phone, can't explain till you're all (said once panning right, and repeated shortly after in the left ear) o-o-O. It pulls the strings and pulls the strings and Tell ya what ya BIG SHOT!"_
The message has a lot to unpack, but it appears to be talking about how Spamton feels being controlled by either his creators or his code, especially being pulled by the strings, and the part about not being able to explain until you're all alone, and "Tell ya what ya BIG SHOT!" seem to be messages directly to Kris.
Hapstablook describes themselves as a nobody
In this timeline, Hapstablook would've never become famous, because there's no need for them to.

Eyy Slim
@@PhilipJFryII oh hey, funny seeing you here
@@slimtheslime5001 always has been funny here 😂
I belive he is projecting himself into Kris to intimidate them. Since Kris is becoming powerful, Spamton can just say they will eventually lose all their power and be left alone, which is what happened to him.
@@dedo9990 when you put it that way, spamton could also potentially be warning kris about ending up like spamton
Actually, Kris is a They/Them 🤓👆

Words can't express how much I love Spamton Neo's theme. S tier music right here
If this is the kind of stuff we get to see this early on in the game, and this is only Chapter 2 out of 7...
I dunno about you, but we got a WHOLE LOT MORE BIG SHOTS out there. I can't wait to see what that'll be like!
Same I can't wait aswell, I am so excited for what could come next!

Beyond the characters, we didn’t really have a connection to UTs events. Now? We have a direct connection to Something that only occurs in the genocide run. God, Fathers parting words and this might be the most perplexing things in this game. And now that we know that locked doors can become dark worlds? Even more theories to open up.

yeah, undyne's genocide theme and jevil's theme too
I happen to like Spamton a lot.
That makes so much sense
Checks out.
