I never got why people were so critical of Dame and Giannis. The first year of big team ups are almost always shaky because the guys need to learn to play with each other. Real life isn't like 2k. Chemistry is a real thing.

People dont know about Xavier Tillman... Bro is a defensive genius on another level. If his 3-ball comes around (signs of which we saw in the playoffs) then he'll be ready to step into an Al Horford type of roll. Not prime Al Horford, obviously, but similar to what Al Horford has been for the last couple of seasons. Luke Kornet is also crazy underrated and might be a starting center on a couple teams out there (looking at you new orleans)
frfr and queta is also a solid bench big who can contribute when his name is called. this dude doesn't know what he's saying or is lacking enough research in some of his takes in this video.

I really think the knicks are going to disappoint a lot of people. I think yall are ignoring
1. Mikal bridges was not the number 1 option in Brooklyn. He was for that first half that he was for about 40% of the season until cam thomas became the pretty clear and obvious number 1 option. In terms of his defense I need people to realize that while bridges can be great off ball this DPOY player that people envisioned in 2022 just isn't the reality. He declined defensively in the 2nd half of that season and was getting butchered in the playoffs against bigger wings and faster guards. I think offensively he does give them a big lift as the 3rd option but his defense while good will not be what many think it is
2. Their center depth is lacking. Mitchell robinson is pretty much it when it comes to legit role players and he has a history of injuries. The knicks relied heavily on a 2 man rotation of bigs and hartenstein in particular helped them on both ends of the ball.
3. Health. Thibs is a guy who believes in running his rotations hard and practicing hard. At some point this mileage is going to catchup with brunson hart and others. OG and robinson two guys vital to their defense both have injury histories and it could be a bad combo with thibs being there.
4. Lastly I don't buy the idea that they can be good enough to beat anybody. At their best I think their a conference finals contender but I don't see how they're good enough to beat Boston and handful of teams out west most notably OKC and Dallas. Jayson tatum had one of his worst postseasons in years and the Celtics cruised to a title. If he's even slightly better they don't lose a single game. The Celtics core has better two way talent, it's just as young if not younger, and they have more talent and the best player and 3rd best player in any series vs the knicks.
They could still win the title anything is possible but I do think they have a long way to go before being in the "they can beat anyone when healthy group"

theres no world that neither the lakers warriors or suns all miss playoffs. the suns are actually good and could be a top 5 team in the west. lakers are always a threat with lbj and ad.

Not only is dame going to be better, the bucks in general will be top 2 seed at least. Their bench is so much better with a back up PG Deon wright then Taurean prince who STARTED in 60 something games last season. Not to mention Malik Beasley upgraded to Gary Trent jr who actually has defense

@@basketballreach while I absolutely believe in the bucks, as a Mavs fan I still think the Celtics are the best team in the east. I guess it depends on how well Giannis and Dame can work, if they not only meet but surpass expectations they will be extremely dangerous to Boston or even clearly surpass them.
The bucks are always stealing laker players and turning them into great role players,this just shows playing with lebron nba players just don’t feel comfortable

Dude as a Kings fan who watched over 70 games last season Harrison Barnes IS NOT A GOOD DEFENDER! He was absolutely terrible last season and a liability on defense, I know he's had a 3&D reputation but he is just horrible defensively now

I think you also forgot to mention is how with the addition of IH, Chet can now play the 4 (he may not) which will just enhance his chances of shooting and making 3s as he no longer has to be the primary screener or offensive rebounder which Isaiah will do. Think you got it all wrong with the Nuggets. This will be the year we see their decline. Jokic will still be the best player in the league, but the lack of bench depth will hurt them. A declining Westbrook, who has barely played winning basketball to begin with, won't help them. In addition, the strength of the West will drown the Nuggets. OKC is deeper and more experienced; Ant Man and the Wolves are on the rise fast; Mavs are hungry to get back to the finals and have an improved roster from last season; Memphis will be fully healthy and can very well be a top 3 seed again in the West. Nuggets will be a 5th seed and will get eliminated in the first round by one of the above teams.
I use to back up Philly but I can’t lie they’ve had a lot of stars so I don’t think they’ll do damage unless pg doesn’t choke

Liked the vid but I don't think you can call the 76rs overrated and then in the next segment say Zion is going to be awesome this season. Zion is injured almost as much as Embid and I think he may have better durability this season when he doesn't have to shoulder as much of a load for the team. Can't wait to see how it all unfolds!

Yeah I'm an Aussie.
For me with the Embiid Zion situation, we have proof that Zion has been working but you can't say the same for Embiid. He often starts the season out of shape and that contributes to him being injured. Also its his performance in the post season even when healthy that hasn't been good enough either.

why would pg even be considered as a 2nd option💀 Maxey is gonna be the backbone of this team especially expecting embiid to sit alot. can't agree with that celtics take. kp is a core piece but the celtics have seen success on both regular and post season even with kp sidelined. al horford is still a reliable vet who can hold down the paint. you also don't watch enough celtics games to assume the celtics are lacking in bigman bench depth. guys like kornet, tillman, and queta are more than solid bigs who can contribute in any given night. That team didn't win 64 games last season just by their first five alone. that team is deep and i'm pretty sure they'd still be number 1 or 2 in the east early in the season.

Bro the talk about the suns missing the playoffs is laughable, for one, with an ass coaching rotation and multiple injuries throughout the season we somehow were able to make the playoffs without getting in the play in, which as a suns fan exceeded my expectations greatly, secondly tyus with a crazy good assist to turnover ratio on an ass wizards team is gonna be put on a stage with this suns team. Also now with a coach that im sure this whole roster respects unlike vogal this team will be much better than last season, I agree lakers and warriors aren’t making the playoffs hehe

I don't see how Denver would be the top seed in this western conference, they actively got worse this off-season while the Mavs and Okc very clearly got better. I think they are pretty much a lock for 1/2 seed when they are healthy.
I think people are sleeping on the eastern conference tbh. The Bucks, Celtics, Knicks, Sixers and all legit and from there you have the Cavs, Pacers, Magic and Heat that will still be good. Also look out for the Hornets with Miller and Ball hooping
@@lukakaps9548 The assumption is that the teams you mention will be Healthy. OKC benefited a lot by not having much Injures. I don't think the Mavs will be as good as last year. Denver with Injures could have had the 1 Seed. I have more faith in them tbh.
