@Letemlive80 oh these things are still it to this very day. I had the black one when I was a kid with the helmet on the back. I've been trying to come across one of those in my size in good condition at the right price. Love this jacket comfortable too.
I agree… he hasn’t had that receiver in both talent and personality….His receivers and teammates love him… But maybe the Nabers personality fires Jones up and makes him more assertive… As far as Barkley goes, when a RB downturns it happens fast.. the Eagle deal won’t age well. But they have a great O line with weapons all over the place, so they need to strike now… I don’t know why they didn’t spend that capital on defense, but that’s another story…Shoen has the right mentality on this. Bad teams have no business spending crazy money on a RB or a Safety… those positions are there to put u over the top, not to bring you to the top. I’ll take my chances with Jones and Nabers over Jones and Barkley… I’ll take my chances paying a boatload to Burns over a boatload to McKinny
It could be a good thing like you said for Jones we'll see how it plays out. We can only hope at this point lol. Yeah the eagles went about it in the wrong way in my opinion. They could of very easily signed a cheap option like we did... I even said Singletary would of been a great target for them to fill the rb need. I would of done what I could in FA to add to the secondary and then in the draft added a few pieces as well. To me that's what ultimately failed that team in the end was the inability to stop teams through the air. That and the fact that hurts suffered a knee injury around week 6 or 7 that definitely effected his play throughout the year.
@flycast4224 But if I'm not mistaken I do believe saquon is only making 4 mill in his first year with the eagles so that's a bargain for them year one.
@@DEILLANYG I agree with most of what you’re saying except the Hurts knee IMO is BS.. he ran fine and never seen a limp.. it was a media excuse because he didn’t play well.. mostly because their oline were having issues with the blitz and he couldn’t deal with it…. I never seen him once on an injury report… and the proof he just didn’t play well is the signing of Barkley… Teams with great QBs don’t sign 15 mil per RBs…lol
Now I like the Burns move don't get me wrong I'm never against adding a additional pass rushers to this team. But do you think Joe Schoen made a move like that a little too early based on the stage of this teams development? Bc I've said the Burns move was a move that a competitive team would make to put them over top. Now most teams that are built to have that kind of success don't have the wiggle room cap wise to do it but if they could financially make it work they pull the trigger. As I'm sure you know I do not view this team at that stage lol and I'm not so sure it was a good idea to tie up that much cap space in Brian burns right now. I wanted to keep Mckinney flycast smh I really did not want to see that kid leave. The Giants really had something building in the secondary and arguably they threw a wrench in the development. Kid was so young with a lot of strong football ahead of him in my opinion. He was going to continue to get better and he was already good.
@Radical_Sim I don't know about the whole captain of the team part but yes Nabers should probably stay in his lane as a rookie. I think he will early on but as he starts to develop over time he'll become more vocal.
Well put.
I hate losing more than I love winning. My bad missed that in editing. Late at night almost 1 o'clock

Nabers is a rookie he shouldn't be saying anything to the quarterback and captain of the team
