(also, totally would've added the clip where Lee talks about David Tennant! "or as I like to call him Doctor Who"... does anyone remember which video that's from?)

Heads up, you've misspelled Warwick Davis.
@@MuchWhittering Ahh, nice catch! It won't let me edit but you are indeed correct
@@WILTY_TV And thanks for linking this!
9:38 "I was asked to come on this show because David Tennant turned it down" god I love the delivery on that
Colin. When they can't get Tom Baker.
RIP Bernard Cribbins (December 29, 1928 - July 27, 2022), aged 93
You will be remembered as a legend.
Never have I been more relieved than to hear that Bernard's story was a lie
Uncle bulgera would have never approved. Borrow, yes, not steal.
After seeing David in that cape, I fully support David being the next Doctor (obviously the cape is required as part of the deal).
He'd be perfect however not PC enough for today.
Yes i agree he is a capable actor.
He could play the Meddling Monk quite well.
No matter how many times I hear Greg Davies tell the Vegetables story I cry with laughter. 😝
I can hear "uh...vegETAbles!" in my head on command.
UUHHWEEGHTEBULS
genuinely baffles me how they thought that was a lie he told it with so much passion
@@mrflibble1259 well you have to remember they have all been ruined by Bob's stories!
This and Cushon! Are top stories
Lee’s story about the cooking pot is just hilarious throughout
I know this story by heart and it still cracks me up 😂
it's David's line about his wife being a t rex that just finishes me off every time
when he says ".. i'm not even married..." 😄
Great compilation! Although it feels more like "British comedians who happened to have a cameo in Doctor Who" than it feels like "Doctor Who actors" lol
especially including David and Lee, by that logic every episode had doctor who actors on it lol
That's because basically everyone has been in Dr Who. The series has been going for 1100 years and there's a finite supply of British performers to appear in it.
Laughed and cried all the way through John Simm's one. I guess to play an insane man like The Master you have to have done some insane things yourself as well!
The fact that it just kept escalating was disturbing.
Life is complete if Peter Capaldi comes on WILTY
calling the producers rn....
Agreed, I'd love that
Look at all of these famous actors who played vitally important roles such as Robot 1 and Robot 2
Bob Mortimer calling someone else's habits weird is just insane
We do beg your pardon...
I thought that haha
The thing is, nobody from the North-East of England (my adopted homeland), thinks the “real” Bob Mortimer is weird. He’s just a nice lad from the Boro who’s become a national treasure.
When he told the tale about walking from Crimdon Dene caravan park to Newcastle at midnight (to watch “Tommy” at the ABC) I instantly felt it was true. The little details were spot-on (totally accurate).
great to see the faces behind such iconic characters as Wilfred Mott, the Ninth Doctor, and Robot 2 (in "Dinosaurs on a Spaceship")
Bernard Cribbins was a dearly-loved and very familiar face to many. It was lovely to see him on WILTY. (Even if his story was WAY beyond belief. )
Don’t you mean doctor whom?
😂😂😂😂
Lee!
I'm not doing it if you put an M at the end.
Yes that whole bit was hilarious.
Did you notice that after Lee called him out on it, David was absolutely incapable of continuing with incorrect grammar? He had to rephrase it so that "who" was the grammatically correct word to use. It was great.
Am I to understand that WILTY has been cancelled or discontinued? I'm American and I've become obsessed with this and 8 out of 10 cats does countdown. These people are brilliant!!
8:50 I wouldn't know how to react with Christopher Eccleston staring at me like that
i'd immediately fold
I just want to hug him for agreeing to appear on the BBC. That stare seemed more like he was considering what was being said, I didn't think it was intimidating, maybe that's just me though 🤷♀️
Jo Brand could win the lottery and be crowned queen in the same day and still wouldn't give a shit. I admire that.
I can’t believe they thought Greg’s story about the Austrian teacher was a lie
Considering the complete change in demeanor and their tendency to overedit things, i always thought he added the extra details after the reveal, but they placed it earlier in the show to keep the format
rob is underratedly funny
i start to apriciate him more and more
No he's not underrated by anyone
"Heavy?"
"Yeah, it's pretty deep, man."
Gets me every time.
I can totally imagine a peepshow type monologue of Robert Webb talking to his imaginary apostle gang 😂
As soon as Gregg starts it's just a yes from me 😂 his life stories are hilarious 🤣
Omg the john simms one had me dying 😂
I've not seen Doctor Who since the 90s. I find it really cool that so many of these actors/comedians have made appearances or cameos in Doctor Who since then.
The movie with Paul McGann? Its gotten quite a bit better since
Not just cameos, but some of them, such as Christopher Eccleston, Bernard Cribbins, etc have had recurring roles; John Simm was even the Master.
@@Jackson-ub1uv Cribbins was in one of the older non-canon movies
@Jackson-ub1uv Really? You went with John Simm was even The Master, but skipped over Christopher Eccleston being the first Doctor for the reboot? 😕
@@cutebutevil7387 Your issue is? It's not an incorrect statement to make, and Eccleston's role was _far_ more obvious than Simm's.
I enjoyed seeing David and his wife on the same side on this episode @10:25.
37:04 - the way Xander says “No” took me right back to the Armstrong and Miller sketch show days for some reason 😂
42:00 Huw Edwards calling somebody 'Pervy'. Hahahaha...
Ah, posting in time for the 60th, I see.
I see you, WILTY UA-cam admin.
Spoilers: The Giggle is just this video.
Lee Mack’s pot story is epic. Every time I watch it I can’t help but marvel at the genius.
David doesn't have a cape, that's a CLOAK!
{:o:O:}
How do you include actors who voiced a character in a single appearance, but ignore John Bishop, a primary companion?
Lee Mack has been doing this too long, he's so good at this :) hahahahaha
Heavy
Yeah pretty deep man
😂😂
Laughed way more than I should have at that😂😂😂
Love Lee Mack
I'll never get tired of lee saying
The posh one with the beard kept staring at me (pause) and I didn't like her husband either 🤣🤣🤣
Technically every episode is one with Doctor Who actors as both David and Lee were on Doctor Who
How long would THAT compilation be
When was Lee in Doctor Who? I don't remember.
@@danielyeshe he was in Jodie's run in the kerblam episode iirc
@@OverWimsThank you.
Another clip to add to this compilation is Lee Mack and his dibber, which has a Doctor Who joke in it.
From the moment Lee started, I knew it had to be true. When it's a true story, he always lays in his "I've got no idea what I'm saying" act just a little bit thicker. It's brilliant to watch him, though, because even if you get the read, you can never truly be sure, because he's _so_ good at it.
The problem with Lee Mack is trying to work out which part of his crazy stories we are judging to be true or not!
@@regd809 Bob Mortimer is this turned up to the maximum
Never seen this show before, but several segments, especially in the first half, had me rolling with laughter. =D
Well since both David Mitchell and Lee Mac have been on Doctor Who, then I guess any video from WILTY is with Doctor Who actors 😁
Lee's broken pot story was hilarious!
Reminded how much I miss Robert Webb's humour. Wish we saw more of him these days.
"I want you to override me again, David"
I love how often Mel forgets where she is
I love Lee Mack so much, man 😂
So sadly missed always a joy to see lost count how many films of his I’ve seen RIP♥️♥️♥️🙏🙏🙏

'Behold! I have transformed!'
@ 2:13 I thought... "Oh is this Hyperdrive Actors on Would I Lie to You?"
Lee's a master of this show because he knows the only part of the story that has to be true is the statement on the card, after that you can make up whatever the hell you want.
Since that's not true, it's unlikely he knows it.
cant believe WILTY isnt returning this year :( I feel the absence
invite xqc on it oh my god I need david mitchell or Lee Mack to interact one on one with xqc please

Yup. And he never kept it a secret, either. He, David Tennant and Catherine Tate all joked about it in "The Ballad of Russell and Julie" over a decade ago.
Lee’s so quick with the quips which makes this program ‼️‼️
I see, John Simm gave up the Master Bedroom to his in-laws.
Who would you list as your top 5 favorite guests on WILTY?
For me, it is:
1. Bob Mortimer - by a lot. The man is brilliant and his stories are amazing!
2. Greg Davies.
3. Rhod Gilbert
4. ... I forget her name... The crazy brunette lady with the big bangs (I think you call it fringe)... She has told some amazing stories. Her first name may be Claudia... CLAUDIA WINKLEMAN!!! Her delivery is hilarious!
5. Kevin Bridges.
I should say, after Bob the rest are in no particular order. And there are probably a few I forgot who might contend for some of those spots. A few that come to mind are James Acaster, Jason Manford, Sara Pascoe, Sarah Millican, Katherine Ryan, Jimmy Carr, Romesh Ranganathan, and Jon Richardson. Not sure I can think of others at the moment.
Henning wehn is definitely in there, his stories are wild.
@@brendanberry7403 yes, I remembered him shortly after I updated the list. Him and Dara O'Briain! Excellent guests!
Replace Kevin with Henning and that's my list too.
Brian blessed
The late Sean Lock.
I was so confused by the title, until it clicked "doctor who" actors.
Thought so long doctors who actor what?
Thank you.
lol the idea of a movie about a disgruntled, very british, whiny/complainy vampire is fucking hilarious. and I want that movie to exist right now. lololol
... played by David Mitchell
Good to see Angus, again.
I love these shows
Regretting being offline for the last 8 or so hours.
omfg john simm’s story has me dead
John Barrowman was on it back in the day as well!
"this is entertainment". Rob says sarcastically seemingly unaware of the whole unboxing genre.
You don't have to be unaware of unboxing to not think it's entertainment.
Also, that's not what genre means.
10:23 my first reaction was literally the same!
41:58 😬😅 you would know...
First I had to google green sleeves and now I have to find out who cliff richards is
All Hail King Hydroflax
it's a Schlemmertopf!
How did they get Christopher Eccleston on this? Also Rob Brydons squirming at the hint of homosexuality
Was that before or after he pretended to shag Cliff Richard at 34:37?
Barry Cryer looks like he's cosplaying Jon Pertwee.
Dear lord we need bob mortimer in doctor who he’d be so good 😂
NO! Just no.
Total and absolute carnage! 😂
That wasn't a parrot, Cockatoo. Big difference
I've seen a cockatoo in my day
Cockatoos are literally parrots.
Apples and fruit, not apples and oranges.
@@janeeyre1990ua-cam.com/video/StcXGhuliRk/v-deo.htmlsi=GVy7Av1VTR-OVrl4
A parrot is an order of birds comprised of 410 species, 21 of which are cockatoos. That's like saying there's a big difference between cats and felines.
I like how everyone voted that Bernard Cribbins (Rest his soul) is lying because they don't want to find out he's a gambler, liar, & a crook
I think I laugh/cried so hard I wet myself!
I still think Frank skimmer woul‘ve made a great doctor if he was more of an actor
RIP Bernard Cribbins
Reading video title, difficulty amount increase.
Genuinely had no idea Lee had been I’m DW
Rip Bernard cribbens great comedy and straight actor
My choices: this is really hard. Maybe:
Bob Mortimer
Dara Obriain
Jimmy Carr
Miles Jupp
Worthy mentions: Victoria C-M
Richard Osman
Greg Davies
Sean Lock would've been great too. Was he ever a guest????
And you've still missed John Bishop. Astounding.
I wondered if anyone else picked up on the line, “it’s pervy…and little bit creepy…and perfectly believable”.
1:28
No... but it is to steal her car...
A lie and agree with me and he was very intelligent. RIP Bernard Cribbins.
I don't think Christopher E and David T have properly met and yet Chris pokes fun as if they are sworn enemies.
I wonder if the Austrian teacher knows he had the Micky taken out of him⁉️
First guy looks like a spoon salesman
OMG Greg Davies was a husband of River Song???!!!!! I must not have recognized him. Or maybe didn't know about him at the time. Except the the Jodi series, I have never missed an episode of Dr. Who since it started back in the 60's!
Why lie?
Did you get confused by the title of the series and think you had to join in?
He was the main character in the episode, there's no way to miss him, or not recognise him. The man is 17 feet tall! No-one misses him; ever.
I didn't even watch the whole episode, because it wasn't good, but I know who he played. No-one cares you didn't watch every episode, why not just be honest and say you missed it and want to know who he played.
@@cutebutevil7387I am sorry, but i only knew of Greg Davies over the last few years. so i wouldn't have recognized him you effing evil B*tch who has no right to criticize me. "It's Pervy" From the man who put his arse all over the internet?
Greg Davies is genius.
Lee Mack's pot may have been based on a true story, but it was definitely mostly a lie
in Truro there was two hospitals city hospital was vertualy in the middle of truro then there is trelisk which is maybe a mile away from city hospital both had a and es could have got a taxi 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Cribbins, Eccleston, Simm, Walsh and Barrowman are the only five who could be considered "Doctor Who actors". The rest are merely actors and comedians who once appeared in Doctor Who.
The chipped pot story just sounds so fake because he said he 'aged' the new pot by cooking marmite and dirt. Throw the new pot out too, Lee...
Now THIS is how you a clipshow!

I hope that I do not get jumped in the Aldi carpark, but am I mistaken in saying that Chrisopher here has an bit of an resemblance to Ed O'Neil from "Married with Children"? Iam saying this in the most respectful way possible. But to me he has an striking look about him of Al Bundy "the great white hooter hunter"! He may have even come to the show driving an Dodge. All said thankyou to Christopher for all your efforts you have poured into the entertainment field. You are spot on!😸
I agree, he does look a bit like Ed O'Neil in that clip.
So what you're saying is that the Doctor went back to 1966 and scored four touchdowns in a single game while playing for the Polk High School Panthers in the 1966 city championship game versus Andrew Johnson High School, including the game-winning touchdown in the final seconds against his old nemesis, Bubba "Spare Tire" Dixon...

I though Lee Mack's turn on Who was pretty average TBH.
I remember watching a TV show years ago, I'm sure the very talented Greg Davies was in it and they had to mime things, they went into a weird room and would fall around like there was an Earthquake, only got faint memories after my brain hemorrhage, but it was a fantastic show and always made me laugh - does anyione have any idea what it was?
I cant see it on IMDB :( I'm pretty sure it only lasted one season.
Thank you :)
Could it be a series called Fast and Loose? Hugh Dennis hosted.
I've never heard of it before, so I've never actually seen any of it, but it sounds like what you described. And it only lasted one series.
Greg Davies was in 5 of the episodes, so he was a regular.

can we all agree that using david mitchell and lee mack is distinctly cheating?
though to be completely honest i feel like outside Bernard, Eccleston, Simm, Walsh and Barrowman these are all kinda cheating by only being guest stars/one offs
