Interesting, I lived in Rochdale as a child for 4 years in the 1960's and never thought it would see trams again. I've realised that the track passes the old site for Thomas Cook on Drake Street where my Dad was the manager.

It's weird how they made it an island platform but hardly any (maybe even no) trams seem to stop on the other platform
