    This is by far the best review on invideo AI on UA-cam. Straight forward and honest. Well done mate.

    This is one of the best, and clearest to follow presentation of breaking into this new field of AI video production so far and I've seen about 25 of them over the last few weeks. I've been making all my videos manually with the Sony Vegas Pro series, since 2012.. updated to version 19 so far with great success, but that's a lot of work, to be sure. This could enable a lot less of the workout, but I'm wondering if it can work with a set of ones own images specified within a folder. Oh boy, I hate the learning curves but your presentation surely helped me on this choice.

      Well thank you so much!! I reviewed Fliki about a week ago and found it MUCH better, especially when it comes to being able to make changes and dial things in exactly how you want.

    Great video. I watched it even though I already know all about Invidio because I have the pro version. I watch anyway to see if there might be other use cases or see if there's something I missed or something new to learn. I agree with you that people should stop trying to make it out to be something it really isn't. A hammer is never going to be a screwdriver, and I'm okay with that.

      Well said! Has your experience with Invideo been similar to what I showed in the video?

      How do you feel about it I’ve been thinking about getting the pro plan is it worth it. I still plan on using eleven labs for a voice over or using my voice but do you feel it’s worth the money?

    I really like your style. Nothing better than pros.
    Since I've been filming & videoing since 1969, I really love this. Just one question: Can I "point" the Invideo to know my personal footage, and put it into the video? How do I do it?

    • @excelerator
      @excelerator  2 місяці тому +2

      Thanks for the compliment! Invideo doesn't have a feature to pull from your existing footage. I suspect it would not do a great job or that even if it did, especially with specific footage vs really broad concepts.

    • @xptechmikie

      That is a great question and @exceerator seems to have a good point. Question answered, I guess.

    I've been using it, and there is some type of "film artifact" overlaid on top of the video. I saw it on yours too. It's hard to describe, but I have found the original footage over on Storyblocks, and it is crystal clean. Any idea what this "film artifact" is? Is it just their way to use iStock and Storyblocks clips cheaply?

    I really dislike AI created content on the whole , but I do like using image generators . Also bullet pointing and cleaning up my grammar on scripts I write is useful . To think AI can be as original as a person seems like over hype to me . A great explanation video as usual . congrats on getting 1,000 subs .

    • @excelerator
      @excelerator  3 місяці тому +2

      Thanks for the congrats! Sometimes I don't mind ai generated videos, depending on what it's about and how it's done.
      I've checked out a few of your videos and your personality and voice are really strong assets you have going for you. I think you are fine to maybe use AI tools to source some visuals (like you already are) but I wouldn't want to see you let ai completely write your scripts or do the voiceovers. Just my opinion, which agrees with your point about originality. No ai is going to word things the way you do (which is really engaging) and no ai voice is going to be as good as yours.

    The cost is $20/month and you can get 50 minutes, which means that for example, I make a long video with a duration of 10 minutes in 1 month, I can only get 5 videos.... Too expensive for me... Is there no discount bro??

    • @excelerator
      @excelerator  Місяць тому

      I don't really 'promote' Invideo, but I am an affiliate and they did send us a code that gives you 50 free minutes in your first month. The code is AILaborday --Originally the code was only good through Labor Day, but they said they extended it through September 5th. Since it says first month, I don't think it will work for current subscribers. I don't know what rules or limitations apply.

    Here's another issue with the app I discovered. When you choose the language to be Chinese, it only uses Cantonese which is not the most used language in China. Mandarin would be so much better or offer both. I created a video for my wife who is from Hong Kong and she was disappointed that it was Cantonese.

    That rabbit video was pretty bad quality, completely wrong image framing/cropping. Is this really AI? Looks more like just "set some settings and you get some random stuff that matches"

    • @excelerator
      @excelerator  4 дні тому

      Yeah. I had hoped it would do a lot better than it did. Still amazed that so many promote this tool as create a video in one click - no editing. 🤷🏽‍♂️

    In video charge you extra time for the whole video without even having downloaded it . I asked them how should we fix a video, they answered it is what is 😂. So you loose at least 30% of your time for fixing the mistakes their ai makes.

    I just purchased for month. I plan on canceling. The b roll is very generic. Overall quality will hurt my channel. Can't recommend it

    • @excelerator
      @excelerator  Місяць тому

      Yes, the b-roll is basic stock. Not sure if it was this video or the other one I made on invideo, but some clips don't fit the aspect ratio and some are kinda cheesy graphic clip-art looking things.
      Like I said, the idea that it's one click and no editing is just nuts. It's irritating that some folks promote it that way.
      Thanks for sharing you're experience here for others to consider, and not just my opinion.

  • @catboy721

    Hi -- don't you think this is sort of going to be like taking pee out of a pool? People using a tool like this to create thousands of passive-income, faceless videos of cats, rabbits and recipes that will never be taken down? How will anyone ever know what's genuine anymore? I feel like this will be the downfall of a lot of video platforms.

    • @excelerator
      @excelerator  2 місяці тому +1

      That's a fair criticism. All I can say is that there has been garbage content on the Internet since making money online became a thing. Article spinners being one of the most obvious ways people tried to game the system back in the day. There will always be people who churn out crap the fastest and easiest way possible while others might use the same tools, but take the time to get it right and put out quality content. I think figuring out what's genuine comes down to viewing everything with healthy skepticism and, if you start to trust a creator, it's still wise to verify. If I see something interesting that I don't know anything about, I don't accept it as truth - whether it's a fun fact about rabbits or world news -II go look up the claims in a few places. That's just my approach, maybe not practical or enjoyable for others.

    It's crap. I've just spent a whole weekend using it. Nothing works properly at all. You can't edit properly at all. It gets confused with basic prompts and every time you edit something it changes something else. Id ask for my money back but I'm not bothered waisting my time. Do not buy this. Pictory is a million times better.

    • @excelerator
      @excelerator  Місяць тому

      I too found the AI prompt box for editing to be really unpredictable. Thanks for sharing your experience.
