The maturity of Chase at 28 is really unbelievable. Kevin, you are already one of the best interviwers I've seen. Fantastic framing, but not excessively with your questions.
I am right there with you. I am loving his second career stage. It helps that he drove the same car NASCAR is using this year. Boyer has NO clue, and can not speak directly to how this car feels. (this is more relating to Harvicks commentary during broadcasts).
It’s amazing to see Chase’s demeanor change since winning at Texas. If you go back and watch the DajeJr Download podcast before he won he’s his normal self but he’s tensed up. After winning he’s so much more relaxed and at ease.
Thanks Keven. Chase is my driver from day one in the 24, of course I followed Jeff’s career and saw you come into the sport right up to today. I loved the conversations, questions and answers. Monty24/24/#9
I love how they talk about what they need to make the car go faster but not actually talk about what makes the car go faster. I felt like I was watching penn and teller talking in code about how to do a magic trick. Go chase!
Kevin Harvick is a great race car driver now as a commentator he's doing an outstanding job Josh Berry has big shoes to fill I'm a Chase Elliott fan to you Kevin Harvick I have a suggestion for Goodyear produce a tire with a hard compound tires last longer thank you
Am I the only one just waiting for him to bring up Bristol and talk about it. Its water under the bridge but I want to know what they were both thinking. Dadgum it....but was good interview.
I'm not surprised he didn't mention it. In interviews last year, Kevin repeatedly admitted that he would purposely create drama whenever he wasn't running well as a means of staying relevant and keeping his name (and sponsor) in the storylines. While dragging that story along each week and saying it wasn't over yet with Chase, he was seen having friendly conversations with Chase backstage during driver intros. I'm not saying that the initial frustration "at" Bristol was fake. I'm sure he was livid at the time. I'm merely saying that it didn't carry on for as long Kevin would have liked us to believe. And he has admitted to it. Clearly they put it behind them ages ago because Chase had said in interviews that during his time off for the leg injury, Kevin would call to check on him and see if he was ok.
Why? He was an amazing driver. And when you're racing for the win you do what you have to. Harvick is one of the best drivers of all time. Don't not like him because he was good. I was never a harvick fan but he was awesome
Kevin great interview and You bring a comfort level to let the drivers to be there self . Kevin you are a great person and great broadcaster and interviewer!!!!👍🏻👍🏻 Always a 29-4 fan!!!
Consistency in Nascar cup racing isn't as honoured as it may have been in the past, which is remarkable with this current cup car being really dependent on track position and clean air. In a culture of all for nothing (which can be exciting yes,) being consistent is the secret weapon that can showcase a driver's skill and car control.

Yeah, this new car is junk. I don’t like it. We need to get back to a rail race car. We don’t need nothing on the bottom of our race cars. I don’t like the new racing. It’s boring and I’ve been watching NASCAR since I’ve been a little kid I live close to Michigan speedway And it’s not racing anymore. I don’t know who built this car but it’s like a formula on
Agree in the most part. I would prefer to move away from the "template" cars and let the manufacturers develop their own car within a set of rules. Make the cars look like what is available off the dealerships. Aero advances and efficiency will be the areas to exploit and improve. The new car was developed to cut costs for the teams and have "bolt-on" components that are cheaper to repair. In truth NASCAR stopped being "Stock Car" series when they moved to the template cars in the 90's. The GT series seems more "Stock" to me than NASCAR.
I completely understand what you're saying and I agree, but the cars before never ever looked like cars that would come off of a dealership lot. That part is nonsense @@christianmeek2542
This seems more of a dad figure talking to a son figure. I almost felt some of Kevin's questions, especially talking about his dad and history and trying to figure out working with his own son's (and maybe daughter's but who knows) racing career.
How do you think Chase Elliott will perform this season?
3 wins
Nashville & Indianapolis are his next wins.
Will win on a road course again
3 wins and Championship
I’m not an Elliot fan. But betting against him is never a good idea. I do enjoy if he wins.
Final four.

I was never a Harvick fan when he was racer. I have become a huge fan since he has started his second career. Great interview.
I've been till the end.. first driving for Richard Childress, filling in for senior.. then driving for Tony Stewart/Haas, I like Ford..

I was a harvick fan when he drove Chevy
Same here. Like jr I like him more now out of the car.
i have really enjoyed Kevin Harvick. In the booth and all of his interviews......
Great interview, Kevin. Always nice to see Chase relaxed and being himself.
Great interview! Thx Kevin fir taking the time to go to Dawsonville!
He went down thur to go hunt with Kyle Busch or all people.
Chase holds his family tradition and drive's fast. Looking good this season.

Well done Kevin and Chase.. loved the insight and Chase's openness about it all and the Next Gen car .

Good interview Kevin! Got some insights into Alan and Chase, Chase and Bill and can see where things have changed this year!
I love how they talk about what they need to make the car go faster but not actually talk about what makes the car go faster. I felt like I was watching penn and teller talking in code about how to do a magic trick. Go chase!
I love the questions Kevin & team come up with. They have brought out the best in every guest. Kudos!

What a great interview 👏
Good stuff! Really enjoyed that interview! Now I get two happy hours! lol

because it's a lot of the reason to have him interview chase in the 1st place ,makes zero sense to not bring it up really ridiculous imo
it's what everyone watching the video waited for the entire time

Happy did an excellent job on the interview, he was well prepared like a veteran at this.
Not a fan of Harvick as a driver, but that was a great interview and very well done. He carries the coverage on FOX.

thanks Kevin for having one of my two fav drivers on
It’s great to see the guy I rooted for week after week become a fantastic broadcaster.
Great interview! I would like to know how these two guys patched up their relationship after a couple of run-ins at the Roval.
Let’s get a Chevy in victory lane this weekend!
I enjoyed this interview with Chase! 👍
Kevin great interview and You bring a comfort level to let the drivers to be there self . Kevin you are a great person and great broadcaster and interviewer!!!!👍🏻👍🏻 Always a 29-4 fan!!!
Really like SVG and Chase ,,Awesome race , This guy can pedal a car ,, Subbed 🙂, Yo from NZ ...
Chase is on the case! 🏁🏆
Would of been cool to hear about if Kevin and Chase knew each other when Chase was a kid in the garage.
If I remember correctly. Bill raced with a broken leg back in the 80s. Won at Atlanta.
I believe they wouldn't let him wear a cast
Great interview
What a great chat
Harvick is the man!!! So proud he is in this role and didn't ride off into the sunset..and he sure could've
Great interview!!
Great interview 👍
Good interview
Bill was not semi-retired when he went to Evernham in 2001. That all started in 2004.
HI KEVIN U ARE THE BEST 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻

Is that uga on chases leg lol
It’s crazy to think that these two were enemies now he’s interviewing chase
Dang, I missed most of the interview....
GOAT
Like his dad he's extremely consistent , but nascar doesn't reward consistency anymore .
Kevin says they’ll get into where they are. Never does. Dang man.
Good job Chase. Too bad Fox would rather show soccer on there than Cup cars on several top tracks. First time I ever looked forward to NBC coverage.

People prefer to spend money on liabilities, Rather than investing in assets and be very profitable
You are so correct! Save, invest and spend for necessities and a few small luxuries relatives to one's total assets ratio.
very true, a huge part of my portfolio growth has come during this bear market. I've been able to scale from $180K to $572K in a short period of time.

Stop complaining and stop being so negative!
Why do the drivers wear their hats over their ears
Bill presented a Gold Comb to(showed) on stage to(for)AK
Notice chase a tattoo on his left leg
Johnson has no business on the track in Cup. Put him back to Arca. You should say what 90% know. G.
The new car sucks !
To much Data
Must've been an awkward interview
Why? They’ve worked out their issues from 2021 and moved past it
@Bob-wb1is that means all fans should get over old feuds then?
Why? Are you so immature you can’t have a disagreement and move on to restore?
Alan is way to conservative with his race day decisions .
I like Chase but he needs to shape and curve the bill on that hat
Or just let him wear the hat the way he wants
Harvick is a bit jealous of Chase's talent and success. You can see it in his facial expressions.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Hs at Hendrick and has 1 win in 2 years
