Beloit KS 1947 Winter Homecoming Parade

Beloit High 1947 homecoming parade. Shot by Ansell Fuller on the corner of Main and Mill, towards the First National Bank. The old Avenue Hotel and Raney's Drugstore are clearly visible.

I found this several years ago and shared with my dad who was junior at BHS at the time. He was also on the football team. I did not see him in here, but I am sure he was at the parade.

Nice color footage. Includes Studebaker, Buick, Mercury and Chrysler Town & Country (woodie) Convertibles...all look to be 1947 models.
