Waste your money buying name brand products if y'all want to but as for me and mine, we have a budget and don't like to waste money on simple things that can be made and used for alot longer for a fraction of the cost of name brand! My only add ons are the dollar tree scent boosters and 2 bars of pink zote soap, 2 bars of fels naptha, both can be gotten at Wal-Mart for .97 cents and double sonyabeonits recipe and that's how we have clean, fresh, stain lifted, smell good laundry for at least 6 months!! 5 stars girl!!!! I could hit the like button a thousand times!!!
My mom swears by Tide but I cannot justify spending $25 for detergent. I buy LA awesome and sun gets mechanic grease out perfect. I also use Palmolive for my good clothes so those do not fade. Kudos to you for saving those coins.
I tried this recipe. The only thing I added was a container of Purex crystals, and half a box of Arm & Hammer Super Washing Soda. When I tell you this stuff works, believe me it does! I had a shirt that had grease stains on it. I'd washed and dried it many times, and they wouldnt budge. I used my tweaked version of this detergent, and it worked! I work around mechanics, and I told them about it. One of them didn't believe me. He told me to bring him some. I told him to use 2 T for a regular load, and 4 T for a really dirty load. He used it to wash his greasy uniforms. He said it worked very well. ( He didn't want to admit it lol) Thank you Sonya. This recipe is a life saver. You're smart, and funny.

People sleep on dollars tree products. I love dollars tree products save so much money as you know. That stuff work pretty well for 1 dollars. Your a smart lady.
I just made my first batch of your detergent mixture, although I did add 2 of the oxyclean, and the color safe bleach. I also added some of the scent crystals from 💵 🌳 and added baking soda to mine. I also put my mixture into a sweater bin from Family Dollar. I also kept the scoop from an old powder detergent. I just put a comforter into my washer using this mixture. This is a very smart idea Miss Sonya.
My oldest is in college and I put her together an adult basket full of toothpaste, laundry stuff, and other boring adult stuff for one of her Christmas presents. That laundry detergent is AWESOME. I bought some for her and I tried it for me, too, and it worked GREAT.
This has worked great ! 1 small scoop for small load, 2 for med, 3 for large..thanks even 4yrs later. *with the scent boosters mine smell just like my fav reg detergent.

Works great for scrubbing the floors too. My addition to this is at least 1 more box of oxy clean and 2 boxes of baking soda.
