    A seat adjustment lever is WAY better than a wheel. I am 6.1 and I am NEVER able to comfortably position my hand over the wheel because in my driving position the seat inevitably aligns with the B pillar, thus blocking the wheel. A lever makes adjusting MUCH faster (you pull to unlock the backrest, use your body to position it and let the lever go) than desperately turning a frigging knob (pun intended).

    • @dodge2451

      agreed, its a constant frustration with what car labeling the knob inferior to the lever, when the lever is a far superior option.

    I've had my Civic Sport in Premium Crystal Blue for 3 and a half months and I'm very happy with it. I've covered just shy of 10.000mi and I've saved a good 160L of petrol since compared to my previous KIA Cee'd JD 1.6GDI that I had for 5 and a half years and covered 88,000mi in it. Talking about the drive, it definitely comes alive on a twisty road, great fun. All in all, a brilliant little car.

    I've always been a fan of Honda cars. Loved their reliability, their overall quality and knowing one would be buying a car 'for life' if so wished.
    The one thing preventing me from getting a civic for the last 15 years or so was their design. Both exterior and interior.
    So now Honda as nailed it on design department (exterior and interior) but I'm not a fan of the power train anymore...

    I can't get past the performance figures. I would expect a 181bhp mid-size hatchback to be good for the upper side of 130mph even with the walloping mass that modern cars have to lug about. I know that's meaningless for 99% of people 99% of the time, but to me it seems like a worthless power figure. For perspective my 94bhp Fiesta (OK - a smaller and much more horrible car) has the same claimed top speed and really does give me 71mpg as well. Hybrids are city runabouts to satisfy lunatic council leaders and might as well be given a 1-litre 50bhp engine for that purpose. Outside of the fascist emissions zones, give me a diesel any day.

    • @stevealexR1
      @stevealexR1 Рік тому +2

      The top speed is artificially limited because as the engine is directly connected to the wheels at motorway speeds, the lack of a geared transmission would over speed the engine. Remember, the eCVT is NOT a gearbox and is an acronym for electronically Continuously Variable Torque.
