I LOST my shit when Kippy asked TONY HAWK if he used a bike for his paper route!!! To be fair, Kippy handled it like a champion comedian, "What am I? An asshole?! I SUCK!!!"
When the Pro Skater video games first started taking off, I remember reading an interview with Tony Hawk where someone asked him about what it was like growing up with such a cool name and he quickly shut that down by saying the kids used to call him "Bony Cock" and that still makes me laugh all these years later. Kids can be so mean and can make even a cool name into something embarrassing, it's almost amazing.
Seriously. They could have anyone on. Actors/actresses, politicians, athletes, literally everyone and anyone. Such a great format. So cool to hear from these people and their humor as a team is unmatched.
I couldn't give less of a fuck about skating, but it's a good time going down a rabbit hole watching Tony surprise people around the country at various skate parks. By accounts the guy is a solid dude.
Back in 2005, I was 13 and a big time skateboard kid. My brother got paralyzed in a 4 wheeler accident, and we were living in a hotel while he was at the Shepherd Center in Atlanta, getting fixed up. Tony Hawk came and invited us to the Boom Boom Huck Jam he did there with Ken Block. That was the shit and I've loved him since.
This is ‘must watch’ podcasting. Not just entertaining but getting great conversations out of big name celebrities. Definitely in the top 5 podcasts I feel I have to watch anytime a new episode is out.
I was lucky enough to serve Tony and his crew at a private bday lunch a few years ago and he was the nicest, most humble, respectful person imaginable. The whole party was great and it's a highlight of my service career. Thanks boys for having the legend on the pod
Dudes sitting at a table with a bottle of water telling them he'd prefer tap water given the option, I just can't believe it. Most tap water I've had has a weird nasty taste
Tony has comedians on his podcast all the time and I've seen him on a few comedy podcasts as well...plus the boys are blowing up! As you know, those numbers are THRU THE ROOF!!!
I’ve seen a bunch of Tony interviews over the years and this was the best. Kip and Foley are magic together. Guests have fun and are at ease. Another great ep guys!!!!
And these boys always keeping it real no matter the guest! They don't put them behind paywalls even though they could. I mean Foley & K-Jay are the best of the best garbage!
Major props to Tony Hawk for doing this pod because his kid asked him to. He absolutely crushed it and cemented his legacy as one of the coolest dudes in the world
This is episode is why the big man is the best podcast host going. Part 70s Carson meets 80s John Candy, plus runs a tight ship, covers up for Kevin's nerves, and hits at least 65 percent of his tags
This feels like a fever dream !?! Tony Hawk, if you're anywhere near the age of KJ or the BIG MAN, this man only carved out a huge part of all our childhoods!!!
Him and Rodney Mullen are close friends. Gotta love that. The worlds best vert and the worlds best street skater. 90’s kid and skater here. Tony’s awesome
The best new podcast always & forever! I almost got teary-eyed at the end. They deserve the world with all the pure comedy gold they continue to bring!!
Amazing episode! When I saw this dropped last night as I was headed to bed, it took everything outta me to not stay up and listen. I knew it would be gold, but hachi machi...I never could have imagined it going THIS well! Tony was an amazing fit for this. Such a chill and humble dude. A true legend and respectably trashy gentleman. He really is like a distilled version of a typical suburban kid who happened to get famous for being a beast. He's literally responsible for the direction of my childhood and teenage years. He's truly the raddest, most wholesome guy ever! I also blame him for being the inspiration behind the titanium plate in my wrist, a broken tailbone, and an untold number of bumps, scrapes, sprains, and bruises...Worth it!
I remember when he came to my rez and went to Turtle Lake MT, a small native community and they gave all the kids skateboards, definitely sparked a new opportunity for the kids and a new healthy interest, he’s awesome! ❤
Up there wit the Bisping ep of all time great guests. As someone who grew up skating in Southern California at the RVCA warehouse where Bisping trained these are two crossovers I would’ve never expected, but pleasantly surprised they did 👏👏👏
Damn Tony Hawk is the fucking man! After so many years of success he's still a humble simple dude and gives back to the community. Hats off to him great ep boys!
Great work guys this episode really resonated with me, I grew up in the NW suburbs of Chicago and played every tony hawks pro skater and skating in my culdesac every day making sponsor me tapes with my buddies. What a epic episode tony is a legend and such a down to earth good dude.
Kippy asking TONY HAWK if he rode a bike on his paper route might be the best question in AYG history.. keep it trashy fellas!
I had to have replayed that 10x. So fuckin funny
Did he drive a bike or just walk, don't forget he asked him if he walked .😅
Nerves getting to kippy
I LOST my shit when Kippy asked TONY HAWK if he used a bike for his paper route!!! To be fair, Kippy handled it like a champion comedian, "What am I? An asshole?! I SUCK!!!"
😂😂😂
They glossed over the fact that his dad was a WW2 pilot with the last name Hawk. That might be the most bad ass thing of all time.

This podcast deserves more big guests that aren't standups. The format + Foley and Kevin are a match destined for greatness
Agreed! The Michael bisping episode from the early days was great!
Hopefully this is only the beginning of stars outside of comedy! Shout-out to the bozos
Seriously. They could have anyone on. Actors/actresses, politicians, athletes, literally everyone and anyone. Such a great format. So cool to hear from these people and their humor as a team is unmatched.
It's true- da boys really are on their way to becoming comedy giants. I mean, Foley already is, but you know what I mean
I am a comedian at heart, but even I'm sick of them as guests. Great idea!
When you think this guy couldn't get any cooler, he goes ahead and crushes again this whole pod.. Such a great guy!
Hawk seems like one of the most down to earth stars ever. Such a legend
@@zwil7965talk about an actual relatable celebrity!
Foley being shocked that Tony eats Jif is one of the many reasons why I love foley 😂
Fucking gold
Jif is trash...exactly what I'd expect a skater to choose
As long as it's not generic rapeseed and palm oil peanut butter I'm happy for people's PB choices
And the miracle whip almost broke him
Yo!!! Tony hawk🤙🏽
Tony Hawk is everything we all wanted him to be. Great guest tonight.
Agreed. He's the best.

"He's got a camera guy in a cart behind him filming." When Kippy said that about Tony shopping at the market was Great. Underrated joke
Burst out laughing at that. Flew so under the radar too ahah

@FU7IM7CANADIAN Does SAG-AFTRA prohibit podcast appearances or is it just because they wouldn't have anything to promote?
It's a smart way to humanize celebs. Like.. When asked what frozen pizza he likes, Tony said Hot Pockets... come on man.. TRASH
I just realized that Foley takes notes like he's going to update their Wiki profile after the episode. 😅
I see a AYG book in his future

One of things that I love about Tony Hawk is no matter what podcast he's on it ALWAYS hits you in the nostalgia feels.

Guys, what a guest. A true living legend. Thanks for the ep. So proud of you boys.
Tony Hawk is the epitome of a living legend. I was 11 years old when I saw him land a 900 at the X Games in LA. Ill never forget it.
I was there too. A little younger. One of the greatest memories of my childhood
There's nobody cooler than the birdman, every single pod cast he goes on he's always a great guest
As a fat kid of the 90’s trying to skateboard this was the greatest thing that ever happened to me. Long live, Tony Hawk.
Tony Hawk is the type of person I wish all millionaires aspired to be. God love this man.
Superb episode! I haven't skated in 20+ years, but Tony always struck me as just a solid, regular dude; glad to have it confirmed on the show.
