No problem. Thanks again for all the info you both provide. It encouraged and really helped me to build this little model which I now enjoy flying so much. I am still struggling to get a geared motor version working at the moment, but that's part of the fun!
Whoah! Thank you so much, I was looking for a timer circuit to do ten seconds of on time but this is much simpler. Hope Amazon can send some supercapacitors pronto, I have four motors from a dead drone and a sheet of solid foam insulation that need to get airborne.
Wiring the batteries in series would give you 4.5 volts that which could destroy your supercap (rated at about 2.7v probably)!!! I think you should charge using two 1.5 v batteries.
I think you are absolutely right. In my defence, I generally use batteries discarded by the depth that my wife works in. They are taken out of mobile monitoring devices after 24 hours and then usually thrown away. They still have some charge or capacity but are defiantlynot the same as a new battery equivalent
The plans were in an old American model magazine. I think I have a scanned copy of them somewhere. I just printed them out at a smaller scale. Let me know if you want a copy.
This is what I need sir. Now I will build it with my pupils. Cheers from Uzbekistan!
Beautiful flights from a first-rate model! Congrats! Thanks also for the nice plug for our channel. Richie says Hi! -Mike

Very well done! That flies extremely well with that setup. I'll have to look into it some more. Thanks for sharing.
loved the homemade weight scale.

I do have a 2 cell charger but it is not great if I used the old batteries. But your point is well made.
Great, please make more
Just checked out the Sonex413 channel and they have some great flights there 👍
Nice project. What is the full weight?
Excellent flights, I haven't done any of those for a few years now and I don't think any of mine stayed in the air as long as that.
I have tried out the motor and capacitor on couple of other models, but they were terrible. Just too heavy to fly at all.
Very good idea. (Muy buena idea).
Nice plane
Sooo ~10secs of Thrust . Rubber bands can do similar if not more.
This is a nice model ! Where did you find the plans? Would like to bild one

@@MouseSquadron I see, yes i would like to.build one, would you please email me plans to psalomonmx@hotmail.com ?
From where to find template for making this? I want to make this
Old plan in magazine. I made it smaller. Just use measurements in Video
