I will take this down immediately if you have issue with this jam.
One of my all time fav tracks. Hope I havent murdered it too much :)
Beats - MC-707 / TR-8S
Intro Strings - Korg X5DR
Bassline 1 - Kobol
Keys, Pads, Bass - MC-707
Orch Strings - MC-101
No monkey business. Just recorded into live, normalised then exported
Programmed with a broken & sprained hand lol. Had to slow the bpm down to 80 bpm to play in the piano parts - painful
Bit rough around the edges but you should get the vibe...Keep it Old Skool 88-94 [[-_-]]
Man u got some sweet gear!
back again with this:-)
This is the sound of hardcore uproar, more powerful than you can possibly imagine ❤
f-f-f-f-feel this ❤
Great jam! I have TR8s,TD3,Octatrack,MC707 and iPad, very similar setup, i go more acid house, but i dig what you're doing here.
Yeah, acid & techno is more my thing really as well but I do love the occasional JD-800 / M1 piano jam
To be honest I'm not using the TR-8S half as much any more. It's just too convenient with the 707!
Time for another acid jam I think 😁
Awesome!
Great jam love it, nice set up mate ❤
that's the sound man 👍
We have the technology. Ha! Nice one.
keeeeee, amazingggg!!!!
ow YEAH!!!
Rave on, brother.
Impressive! Could you have done the strings from the MC-707 as well?
Yes!
2 things really. Laziness and potential voice stealing.
If I'd set each tracks sound source as clip based, then I could have had strings loaded into any blank clip on the Matrix but you run the risk of voice stealing if you already have 2 piano tracks and a pad track loaded.
It was easier to get the 101 out the cupboard 😅
@@Alpha-DX Are you sequencing the 101 from the 707?
@@dcarmich00The MC-707 is the sequencer. The 101 is clocked via the MIDI THRU of the X5DR. For that jam the 101 didn't actually need to be clock synced as I played the strings in real-time 😉
@@Alpha-DX How are you using the Blokas MIDIhub? (I have a BomeBox myself and love it.)
@@dcarmich00 I have only had it for a couple of days but it's already sorted out 2 headaches for me. The first "pipe" strips out Active Sensing from the 707's MIDI stream before it goes into the Kobol.
The second pipe receives MIDI from Ch6 of the 707 and forwards it on to the Korg X5DR as channel 1.
I do that because the Korg defaults back to CH1 when powered down, it's a right PITA to set it all back up.
I intend to get into MIDI delays and LFO's etc with it. It's really impressive. What's Bome like?
☺👍
Why does nobody ever actually play or even touch their keyboards in these 'live sets'
1 Broken hand, 1 sprained 😅
Rick Allen plays drums with one arm. Had been for years.
ah I see!@@Alpha-DX
He may have composed some tracks with the keys
