All I have to say Mark,is that I will always watch your videos from beginning to end . Because like Mr.Jose Gracian said, your a true fisherman ! You don’t just upload the great days but you also upload the tough days as well . That’s why I love your channel buddy. You keep it real . God bless you and yours. Keep on keeping it real !👍🏼
Honestly that’s the reason your channel is my number 1 go to is because you upoload tough days as well. It really helps beginners not quit fishing because they see not all days are good days. I went from from 1 day landing 3 keeper reds and then a week later the same spot all I could pull in the kayak was 1 dinker red. I watch ever single video because even on bad days u can educate us on water conditions temperature and tide. Me and Christian( KMF) where talking about how awesome ur videos are just the other day when I seen him in the yak
👍Yes, my friend, these days the fishing is not good, because the tide is very low, and the tide rises one hour in the morning and again rises until the afternoon, for that reason, that is why it is slow because the water does not remain stable.
The only guy that caught anything on the jetty that day was using old shrimp, a very inexpensive spinner setup he was using upside down reeling backwards, and he caught 2 nice reds and what looked like a pompano. He was the guy next to you before you went across the cut.
Mark when you catch those bull mullet. Cut them like fillets. And tip your baits, or just use them like a lure. It’ll look like a bait fish and give a natural scent trail. A good fishing buddy tip me off to this and it works flounder reds and especially mackerel love it
so the cut in the jetty... is that by design? or did a hurricane come along and partially wash it out at some point? And then also, all the sand almost burying part of the jetty... just accumulation over the years? Anyways I wonder if the authorities will come back and dig it back out? I dunno just curious. I feel like I went to that one as a kid but haven’t been back since.
Nice video Mark that is the way to get to know what the start of the way I started out saltwater fishing. It is tough on the bank angler but as you get to know the areas you will catch most of the times. Merry Christmas to you and your family
I got some bull reds at the jetty the other day, video will be up tomorrow! Would appreciate a view and maybe some tips on this whole video making stuff. Thanks man, tight lines.
Videos like this is a great marketing tool for those shrimp lures. They should send you a check for this video. It just goes to show how great they work. Cut mullet or a paddle tail didn’t work but the shrimp lure came through. I really need to throw it on a popping cork and see what I can do.
i plan on going to galveston in two weeks, can you share with me a good spot for catching mullet like this area here? The description says south jetty, forgive me if its a dumb question, but where is that exactly??
Clarification: May not take from public waters, or possess on board a boat, mullet over 12 inches during October, November, December, and January. No limits apply during other months. Just looked it up cause that's news to me but let me know if in wrong (I'm dyslexic and this reads weird) but wouldn't that mean you couldn't keep anything OVER 12 inches? All of his were under 12 from the looks of it.
@@randomguysview I don't have ruler-vision so can't say if he got any bigger than 12". But it looked like some were close and it's good to know the laws and be good stewards for our resources. The big mullet are there to spawn in the winter.

Haven't seen this channel before and I already love it because it shows what fishing is about and not caching

Good to know 👍
"Don't run from the Lord" 😆 You offer great content
😂😂😂
Did Mark change his name to Mark DeLordRosa?
A Bad day fishing is still better than a good day at the office.
Very true.
Finally! A realistic video!!
Most channels will never post a video like this.
Love the good along with the bad. Makes me feel like I'm not doing anything wrong as well bc there are plenty of times I walk away without a bite.
This happens to all of us.
Thanks for getting out there!
🤙 thanks for your support
Good content bro 👍🏻💯 days like that are what make your good fishing days so much better
Most definitely 👍
You need to plan a trip to Waveland, Miss in July... big redfish.
👍
I have had many days like this. Your right, that's fishing.
🙌
Awesome vid I went there about a week ago and caught my first bull red ever 39 inches on cut croaker and also some small flounder.
Nice 👍 maybe next time I’ll get one too.

😂 maybe next time 🍤
I made it to the end. Some days are all grind and no glory. 💯
🤙I appreciate you 🙌
Mark I like your presentation and demeanor, but if I had to walk as far as you do to fish that jetty, there's no way! You are diligent!!! #50K
Thanks for the support brother 🤙
I grew up doing that kind of fishing, Iknow It`s not that glamorous but had some great times out there. that`s Thumbs UP from me.
Thanks brother
I remember this day. My friend and I met you as you pulled up to the jetty. The day was pretty miserable.
😂 I was soaked from the mist and high winds.
Keep grindin' my man! Kudos for showing the reality of fishing sometimes...can't always catch a slot Red every trip 💪🏾💯
🙌
Thanks for the thumbs up Mark….lol
Back at you…. Good video like always!
Merry Christmas!!!
Thank you 🙏

I’m sure it’s natural wear
Bro, I told you...We have to go cast net city bayous in Houston to get views. 😂😂😂
😂 I couldn’t see myself paying for bait when I knew it was going to be a grind from the start.
Did this Sunday. Caught some mullet. Got to the spot, threw a lure for first red then free lined a mullet for second.
Nice
I have been waiting with my coffee ready for hours 😂, for a sec I thought no video for today.
😂 I’m on vacation and got my days mixed up 👍
Days like this make the days when you catch something soooo much better….live line one of those mullets
👍
Love that you keep it real bro.
🤙
I know what you mean, 63 degrees for the south is just to cold for me, we would never make it ice fishing lol
😂
Keep grinding, double thumbs up for ya
Thanks 🙏
👌Nice job and Blessings 🙌🤜🤛
Thanks 🙏
Flounders to the rescue. You were this close to being skunked.
😂👍

U don’t always get the big ones mark! It’s fishing

It’s called fishing not catching. The experience of being in nature is worth the time and energy.
