Good job with story time Tim. Good job as always Chris. We turned our tandems into sandcicles today digging pit sand while it was 22 degrees. Just hauled it water and all to the stockpile.
Your cute little dump truck is an L cab Ford those are neat trucks I drove a 24' L cab stakebed for a plumbing and supply company I loved that old truck
You say about the bigger bucket and pulling the machine over, my buddy that owns a Cat was telling me he knows a guy with another one for sale, his is a straight bucket machine. This other one thats for sale has a quick hitch, tilt bucket and thumb on it. the slew rings worn out, It's a one owner well serviced machine apart from that problem with less hours than his. Is all that extra junk hanging on the dipper why it's worn out ? Does that dump truck that the dirt sticks in have issues with the floor not being smooth, like somebodys been dumping rocks in it and beat the floor to crap. I built a tractor dump trailer from a truck guys did that to, dry stuff comes right out without banging the tailgate . If I move 2 loads of wet clay it starts sticking and I have to clean it like that,as it just gets worse. It was good to see Tim again and hear him talk, That must be hard for him running the machine and talking, when he's trying to get things right, with us watching, and following on with your operating skills, There is absolutely no pressure on him L.OL . Thanks for the video guys.
Thank you Tim and I know what you mean with adjusting the seat, been there 😂. The one thing I love about utube, is you can meet people from all over the world without leaving the living room and a bit of there life stories. I lived in Ontario Canada for many years in a little town called Newmarket, now I live in the UK, there Tim I've shared a bit to 😊 the boss never buys lunch!
It's one of my pet peeves as well. Whenever my wife drives my truck it takes me ages to get the seat back to just the way I like it. My next vehicle is going to have memory driver's seat and mirrors as #1 requirement. (Toyota Highlander Limited)
I raised my bosses chair just enough for him to bang his knees on his desk every day for about a year. He thought his seat leaked up...and you're worried about adjusting the seat for 30 minutes.
Speaking of load sticking in the bed, we have petroleum coke delivered to our power plant from a refinery in Minnesota. If they load it when its cold and deliver the next day, it freezes. And if the driver doesn't pay attention when they dump it (end dump), it can flip the truck and tractor on its side. It happens once every couple winters.
Greetings from N. IL. - My local NAPA store (also a Toro Dealer) has a product you spray on tools to protect them from grass, snow, & dirt build up. It's called "T-150" from Toro. (Item # 29100) Of course this 8 oz bottle isn't practical for your dump truck, but if you can get this stuff in 5 gal buckets it may be helpful. --Or you can go to the grocery store and get a bunch of cans of "Pam" cooking spray. (ha ha) Stay safe, Don't get stuck. Keep posting videos. AND buy lunch for the guys every Friday. It's a nice end of the week bonus, (for them).
Ol' Timmy has fairly good control of the running the controls could you have him do more of this while you get lunch? Another thing on land clearing when running 2 of the diggers have a camera in the other machine to get Tim's view of things😁
Hey Tim, thanks for the response. I have a commercial snow clearing contract in Honesdale, and do a lot of business with Marshall Machinery. Stop in and say hello next time you come up- I am only 30 minutes from there!
My grandfather used to pump sand out of Chattahoochee River down in Georgia with two trash pumps attached to a pontoon boat he used pump away from the river about 40 ft I was there one day he pumped a nof a saint to feel 6 trucks
Thank you for another great post letsdig18. Glad I didn't poor a glass of vodka/orange and sit down on watch this all the back and forth loading that sand would have had me needing one of those dump trucks. Dizzy to the bone :)
Ya. I hear ya. I retract my last statement about a bigger bucket. Wasn’t thinking that that bucket that’s in it now would hold enough to tip that machine.
Yay! Dump trucks!! I'm on a dump truck kick right now. Been driving OTR for the last 20 years. I intend to hang up my " brilliant career" to drive dump trucks. I don't want to see another 53' trailer for a very long time. Dump trucks are cool. They look like pit bulls. Believe me, I'm studying every detail in this video, and all the comments from the peanut gallery. Am making note of things that potentially could cause overturnment.Thank you all.
Well, don't listen to these comments about banging the hell out of the gate. I'll bet you lunch that all those trucks have broken welds and worn-out locks on all the gates. My gate gets one bang... yes one... and if needed we use a hose or a machine at the end of the day to clean it out. NOPE I don't even carry a shovel, is just extra weight.
Great Tim-O-Vision episode. Tim you could adjust the seat, but scratch the Butt of that machine and you will be loading with a snow shovel for a week. LOL
I watched the 235 Cat and I know someone else made the same comment. I cannot believe how slow it is compared to the Volvo. I used to watch 235's dig when I was a kid I always thought they were very fast.
I had a little dump truck just like that one come to my pit today. It might have taken two scoops, from the 480e. I didnt load him though, he sure was cute.
When we stayed in wake forest right after Florence I saw your dump truck going down the road, had a minute of excitement followed by explaining why I was pumped about seeing a dump truck lol that is a nice truck you guys have, it’s not surprising that your uncle likes to drive it Chris. Tim, those scoops left a little to be desired, maybe if you get all full scoops Chris will buy you lunch 😉😉😉😉 Great videos, keep up the good work guys, I’ve learned a lot from watching!
Dude there is a lake by house that you need to come work on. Ever since the flood in 2015 the dam has been fixed three times and every time they have failed to fix it! Every time I drive past it I say to myself they need Chris to come fix it right the first time!
Ryan You would probably be surprise by how little money some of these guys make working with a small contractor and without no health insurance in top of it. I hope he does keep care of him but who knows he might be keeping most for himself. Too many of these guys are living a really good life while their workers are barely getting by. I know I seen it to many times.
Chris and Tim are co-workers employed by Uncle John, for wages, so not sure Chris is making the big money.. now he has his own business he will be on good $$.. maybe Uncle John should have been buying Tim lunch
Hey, great mind picture. After some of the giant beasties Baby Joda was throwing about in The Mandalorian, Tim could levitate that excavator no problem at all when he learns to harness The Force.
Chris, Tell Tim I said you were filling the trucks in half the time he was when I watched the video! You don't have to tell him it was on 2x speed when I was watching you and slowed to normal to see if he was going to say anything important. 😊👍 Kevin
The reason why the driver had sand in the truck is because he didn't hit the tailgate on a truck when he was emptying before he left the dumped dirt pile
I guess Tim’s little sneaky addition to the video the other day was ok if you’re actively letting him load now while you go get lunch haha. Tim got about as much loading time and Chris on today’s video!
Do you have a guess how many tons, yards etc... of sand you will have removed? Don't know much about excavators but when you make your swing is there a "brake" of sorts that slows it down? Just really noticed those houses. Must be a very upscale neighborhood.
Hey Tim! Chris waited until the sun glare was as bad as it could get and then left you loading while he went to get lunch. Then he made you pay for your own lunch which was probably cold by the time he got back with it. Next time adjust the seat until it is 'nap comfortable' for you. :) Seriously, you are a great addition to the channel. Hopefully Chris will give you a camera more often as I enjoy watching both of you operate heavy equipment. There is only one thing that you need to fix. Here's a hint - How 'bout them Cowboys! :)
It’s always fun to get Tim’s perspective. Team Tim 🤗
If they can't make eye contact with you, they won't ask questions. That's the most true thing ever said Chris!😂😂
He set up all kinds of wrong that time.
Good job with story time Tim. Good job as always Chris. We turned our tandems into sandcicles today digging pit sand while it was 22 degrees. Just hauled it water and all to the stockpile.
Thank you. Both Chris and Tim. Great playing in the sand pit. Brings back a few memories lol. Keep up the great work lads x
Your cute little dump truck is an L cab Ford those are neat trucks I drove a 24' L cab stakebed for a plumbing and supply company I loved that old truck
Boy, you must be a REAL hard ass if Tim’s afraid to move your seat! 😂 Mr. Elite knows better than to move mine, too 😉

We need a Tim Cam!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That big dump needs afootball field to turn around but, when he's done turning he takes the football field with him.
Thats the truth.
Great video, Happy Birthday Tim! Great job.
Come on Chris, you know you need a high floatation, extra long reach, 12 yard bucket drag line that is solar wind and unicorn fart powered.
Those little trucks help build America
I raised my bosses chair just enough for him to bang his knees on his desk every day for about a year. He thought his seat leaked up...and you're worried about adjusting the seat for 30 minutes.
Chris the Master Operator never makes eye contact with drivers. Nor buys lunch. He is a king everyone is below him.
That little truck looks like a Tonka against the bigger ones. Never under estimate the power of little things...... that's a quote from my wife!
Are you saying it may not be big, but it sure is short? Military buddy of mine used that saying often.
@@davidclaudy4822 yes sir I may not have much but I'm proud of every foot

Tim loadin those trucks a little light, huh...

thank you I love and I watch your videos from France
Tim made the cut again
#timmy
That machine will move some material sounds like a symphony...👌
Great job, Tim!

You go Timmy show the old man how it's done 😂😂😎👍👍
That is a cute little dump truck.
Ahh I just got done 2 weeks of loading trucks..made a drainage ditch..but with 10 inches of frost in some places.
You were loading dirt boulders then. Right Sean!?
Tyson did make a video?
@@brianwebber7168 2 videos...

Great video bro and nice to have some input and back ground from Tim.

I like the way Tim works as he works that machine just like chris way to go Tim you are a pro too.
Thanks for the video.
Great job Tim !!!
Tim is a pretty good operator too and he explains stuff also, good video brother!
Thanks for letting us get to know you Tim. :)
I was reading the comments on the bigger buckets. I was loading sand to...people dont realize how heavy sand is.
and gravel, the stuff in our pit are close to 2000kg pr M3,
Good job Chris I am a plant instructor from Scotland learners could do a whole lot worse than watch your videos they would learn a lot !! 👊👊
Good work tim. I bet chris likes the work you do.
I just bought a L8000 almost identical to that single axle!! Wish mine was that color though hahaha!!
They are a handy size for a lot of things.

Your fine Tim. good job.
You need a code for the dump truck driver, two beeps move a little forward, three beeps a little back. Single beep is stop/go.
Great Tim-O-Vision episode. Tim you could adjust the seat, but scratch the Butt of that machine and you will be loading with a snow shovel for a week. LOL
You should definitely buy Tim lunch and have him on the channel more! Much smoother operator.

Hi Chris, G here from UK, that dinky truck you've been filling looks like that old army truck you had.
Hey again guys! Tim shout out to NEPA. I'm from Wilkes-Barre but I also have family in Richboro down in SEPA.
Chris!.... come on man!, get Tim a camera for his birthday! ... I will say he’s not quite as smooth as you are but .. practice practice.. 😂
Good job Tim.
Lov'n Tim too!
I'm from outside of Honesdale. From just outside Milford, Pa.
Would have keeping that bigger slower excavator you sold to that sand pit be helpful in this situation and when digging out that massive pond.
I had a little dump truck just like that one come to my pit today. It might have taken two scoops, from the 480e. I didnt load him though, he sure was cute.
*Great job Timmay!! Lol*

That sticky truck you should have put two wet scoops in the bottom it would have cleaned it out. Next time he tipped
All that big UA-cam money you make and you make Tim buy his own lunch lol
