@@JOHN----DOE Buchiko is by far not the only case of a Thoroughbred having a color like this, and it doesn't just exist in Japan. I could name you several dozen spotted race horses bred outside of Japan. In fact, most of them were bred somewhere else.

There's a breed called appaloosa they're known for their spots
