- On this adventure, I took a drive out to Mineral Bar on the North Fork of the American River. Then Hiked down the Pennyweight trail.
I have never been to this location so the goal of this trip was to explore a little bit and maybe find a few pieces of gold along the way.
I was not expecting to unearth my personal best nugget
Metal Detector: Bounty Hunter 3300
Coil: Bounty Hunter 4 inch Gold Nugget Search Coil
What a great feeling. Got my first nuggy yesterday! Great video
Nice piece and crevice tool
Wow the best place to find gold..I like this place.. it allows to get maximum results.. steady.. success always friends.. greetings from us traditional Indonesian gold seekers🇲🇨⚒️⛏️🪙🌟💞🌸❤️✋👍👍
Nice little nugget! In the early 70's my Dad and I often fished the Feather river below Sloat. On one trip I took a mask and did a little sniping. I found gold and have been sniping ever since.
Next time pan everything in the crevices!
I have worked that area many times. You scored buddy!
Owh shit thats big
Excellent find! I cant believe that bedrock crack had been overlooked in that location, such a frequented spot and no one had ever dug that it looked excellent!
축하드립니다
Great vid.
Good job buddy. Keep it up and upload videos, I think you can make more Subs in this way for the future. Very exciting nugget!
Nice picker. Not being able to move a little 100lb rock has old "Buzzard Thompson" Rollin over. Go back there, move the rock with a fulcrum and crowbar . I bet there's good color under it and on the upstream side, huh Jeff?
Awesome find.
Persistence paid off.
Great content, EM.
Thanks 👍
Gostei muito dó seu canal é sou garimpeiro 🙏
I subscribed from the Eldorado County
I thought Auburn state rec area was hand and pans only? Then claimed up north of that.. ?
Amazing very good, good lucky
Dropping it repeatedly like a clinker. I'd call that a thumper! 😂. I'd be doing the same thing while laughing and shaking, too.
Thanks for sharing that. Great find!
Very nice chunk. Good job man.
I love the Pennyweight Trail! Great swimming holes up there. Nice nugget and video!!
Thanks 👍
That is a beauty. Noce observation of paystreak ! Good Job ! Nice video too.
I think the spot in the beginning of your vid where you said was old channel was actually an old hydraulic waste pile. still a good place to look! Nice nug! Makes me want to get out with the metal detector!
those small nugs sell for big bux when you make jewelry out of them....
heck ya buddy! nice find
Nice Piece, CONGRATULATIONS !
GL&HH Greg

I love watching looking for gold nuggets or pickers or flour gold.

Hello from Vancouver Canada 🇨🇦
What type of coil & machine you running sure works good 😎
Good question I added the info to the description. Bounty Hunter 3300 and it has a 4in nugget search coil attached.
Gold fever
Great video!

Congrats! Well done!
damn
Nice V G at Mineral bar..
Sweet!!!! Congratulations!!!!!
chunk a thunk a gold!
Great video!
That was awesome! What metal detector are you using? So many to choose, that one found the gold
Bounty hunter 3300 and a aftermarket 4inch coil.
Wow that was amazing!!!
Just found your channel via reddit prospecting sub. Dude, NICE find!! Congrats! What metal detector do you use in this video?
Thanks! Bounty Hunter 3300 with a 4 inch coil.
@@The_fishingfool You proved what many are not learning is that a cheap detector can do what an expensive one will do in the right area. That is awesome. I have found good gold downstream many years ago in a crack above the water level behind a guy using a 5 inch dredge when it was legal. Is it legal to use a detector there? I heard it wasn't in the Auburn State Rec area..
You go up river from bridge or down river ? Congrats on the chunker
I went upriver. Good luck if you get out there.
Nice find I’d be excited too enjoyed the video ⚒️🕳️⛏️🇺🇸
lol, fishing fool
I was fishing for gold not fish on this adventure.
Nice prospecting. Good job
do you know if there is cell service here or is it too far in the hills? im asking cus my car is iffy but i have AAA. looks like a good place to camp.
There was spotty service on the way in. I can’t remember if there was service down at the river.
Big one
Great find!!!
How much would a nugget like that cost?? Or how much could you get for that?
Probably a 4-6 gram nugget. Someone would pay easily $400-$600 for it, nuggets get a big boost over spot gold price
Excellent demo with all the tools necessary to get to the target. Most important tool is perseverance.
Massive congrats!
