What's your favorite Italian dish featured here? Mozzarella, Burrata, lasagna or pastries? What food tour would you like to see next: Chelsea or Brooklyn?
@Brett Marquez - DOC Yes you need to try it! Pricing depends on what you want and I believe certain dish styles might be seasonal. You can get a small mozzarella tomato for as low as $5 on their menu online or you can get a platter like this one for closer to $15, but it depends on what you prefer cheese alone or meat or tomato! So yummy and so worth it!
Great video! Love Arthur Avenue and all the delicious eats. You’re so right about getting there early, I was there on a Saturday night and all the restaurants were packed! I couldn’t believe it! 4:01 Chester A. Arthur 😃
Omg yes it’s crazy packed on Saturday nights! Omg you know the full name look at you, impressed I learned that for the first time this weekend researching!
Omg yes he’s been in a few lol he’s a star! I didn’t even warn him I was coming shower up and he was so sweet telling me no I’ll plate it for you and everything really appreciated the amazing service and hospitality and the DELICIOUS burrata! Still dreaming about it!
Wow! Another great video that makes me so hungry for my favorite food. I really want to go to Arthur Avenue very soon. It looks amazing. You both did such a great job creating this video. Ciao
I love how as a community online we are getting the word about Arthur Av in The Bronx its only a 15 minute walk from the Fordham Metro North Station and I encourage everyone please check out the real little italy
Omg I loved this! I’m OG Italian background, both my parents are from Italy but I was born in Australia. I had a typical Italian upbringing and a lot of those goods are very familiar to me. Great video
Oh wow love that you have an OG Italian background and appreciate these things! Australia, how amazing! Loved visiting there, thanks so much for watching!
Yes it is more Bronx content coming soon! I explored Mott Haven for the first and loved it! Also happy to hear your recommendations for other areas and Top spots to eat?
By far the most informative Arthur Ave. video yet. I live in CT and this fall for my birthday my only wish is to finally visit Aurther Ave. I've been to Mulberry St and the North End in Boston but Aurther Ave is the authentic Italian experince. Thank you for the insider tips, I absolutley loved your video!
Well if you live in CT, you’re lucky since it’s not too far. There people who live out in Arkansas who would love to visit but can only do it maybe once and most likely never
Oh My Gooooooooooood, I Can't even believe You made this Video, I am from that Area and I used to dine there with my first boyfriend who is Italian-American and He loved Little Italy. I know this is the First and ORIGINAL Little Italy, not in Manhattan.
I went to NYC for the first time a few months and made it a point to visit Arthur Ave. I’m so sad I didn’t taste the fresh mozzarella at casa de la mozzarella. The rainbow cookie at Marrone’s bakery was so good!
Ah haha same I thought I was too but I ate so much Mozzerella at the 3 places and then burrata I can't help it it was so good! Cannot wait for our next foodie adventure!
He’s not sharing that pasty! Could of offered you a bite! Love your videos Jen we will be in NYC in March and found watching your UA-cam videos very educational thank you. Xx
Great videos! So much energy and loves food - my kinda girl. Wish I was 40 years younger. I still manage to tear up NYC once a year tho, then I'm worn out and need a vacation, haha.
I lived in that area for four years and am a Bronx native. How could you not mention Dominick's the most well known and many would say best restaurant on Arthur Ave.
The real little Italy was always Mott, Mulberry, Hester St and others like Monroe St and Knickerbocker Village known as Italian Village by the locals.❤
Um. My wife and I recently travelled to NYC for what amounted to our first trip (both of us having visited when we were much younger and without resources). My personal crusade in the 10 days we spend in the Big Apple was to find great Italian food, especially pizza, unavailable to us in Southern California. HUUUUGE disappointment! We went to famous places and to holes-in-the-wall, and nothing was heavenly. It was OVER-RATED, as good as some Southern California non-chain places (I'm not comparing it to Pizza Hut or Dominoes!), but no better than California's best. My recollection, at Taste of Chicago, in 2002, was that deep dish stuff, done rate, is outrageously good. Jon Stewart also discovered that!
Denys A oh no I’m so sorry to hear that! Please tell me what did you try that wasn’t great? I also love pizza and take pizza very seriously so curious what spots you went to! Happy to create a guide to my favorite Italian spots that are ACTUALLY good all around the city too!
@@Jenniferobrien Jennifer, thanks for your reply. It wasn't so much that the pizza in NYC wasn't GOOD, but it wasn't the outstanding stuff that I had remembered from my youthful trip. Maybe I had too high expectations. I'm FBI (almost), and my wife is FBM (the M stands for Mexican), so we really love Italian and Mexican food, and I make pizza/spaghetti at home, while she handles all the Mexican stuff. Let's see. It wasn't first, but we did end up eating at both of those two rather famous pizza shops right near the Brooklyn side of the Brooklyn Bridge. You undoubtedly know them; they're right next to each other, I think one of them is Grimaldi's and the other one is (Juliana's, Patsies?) or something. Very good pizza, probably the best we tasted. We ate at "John's" before discovering that there are multiple "John's" and "Joe's" and some other names which have become icons for the ignorant tourists like us, even having TRIED to narrow the field down prior to our visit. We ate at a couple of places which I had never heard of. Just dropped in. We ate at a place called, I think, "Little Italy" which was not in Little Italy but in lower manhattan, not far from the Staten Island Ferry. I'm sorry. This trip was during the first 10 days of August, and we are definitely NOT oriented toward anything on the East Coast, let alone the Big Apple. I can tell you this: we ate at 10 pizza places in 10 days! It wasn't for lack of effort! Earlier in the year, we had visited CDMX and were overwhelmed by the awesomeness of Mexico City "street food." Anyhow. Thanks again for responding. I enjoy your videos. As is often the case, the presentation/personality is what makes me come back to a UA-camr, and your presentation is always wonderful. I watched several before we left, and I've watched several since we got back. I'm interested in your "guide," since you know so much more about NYC than we do!

Omg yes same I had Mozzerella today and it was NOT the same so fake I miss Arthur Avenue Mozzerella already lol
same!!!
Awesome insight and cinematography. You're gorgeous and entertaining as well. Keep it up!
A Bronx Tale is one of our favorite movies! Funny thing is that 95% of it was filmed in Queens!
Omg what?! No way! Is that because a lot of the film studios are there?
Jennifer O'Brien It was because the buildings in the area they filmed had the look and feel they wanted to capture for the movie. Pretty cool!
My next trip up to NYC (from Oklahoma), Arthur Avenue is definitely on my to-do list.
Yes so good the best for Italian food but make reservations ahead of time!
I’m been to Arthur Avenue so many times and you nailed it. Great you showed Egidio, True about the weekend, must get there early. 😋
