Something pretty underrated about this video is that all of the footage are college highlights. It's not that he doesn't have club, team USA, and even some pro highlights, but since it's a college award, they used all college film. Well done.
easy for a program like unc with many involved parents and other people willing to film all their games
@@dude7597 well axshually
I've known this kid as an athlete since he was a 7-year-old karate student in the local dojo. He was the most intense, serious, and smart young athlete I have ever seen. He has grown into a grounded, generous leader and superstar -- and still humble. What a kid.
3:25 that high release flick is crazy
That transition at 1:00 tho 🤤
lmao that sky of Sol Yanuck on the drop is priceless
4:37
Ever since I heard of Matt his gameplay has been such an inspiration
Yeh bro, I'll see some Matt inspired layout D's from you next Friday!
This guy leaves his feet all day long!!
Nut.
best player in college
bro has the most ELECTRIC bids in all of college ultimate
0:37 turn or no turn? Great D, obviously, but it appears he had it in his hand the whole time then he flips out after he hits the ground. Not sure that the ground contact cased him to lose it. Looked intentional, but maybe not?
I forget what rule it is, but somewhere it says if you drop the disc while making a defensive play, it still counts as a d.
@@loopchook6184 Late to the party.
The official rule is you have to maintain possession through ground contact, in order for it to be a double turn, which he did not. So its a D.
🍌💥
thanks for the penta kill pyke stick to what ur good at
Top💪
Where is dark side and are they good at frisbee?
Frisbee Master North Carolina and they got 2nd at D1 natties this year so yeah they are good
First like
How many disks has he broken from all the nasty spikes ?!? Not my style, but I like the play style.
Very reckless and dangerous layouts into other players is not cool.
Agree. The first photo they show is a clear late bid into the back of the guy who has already caught the disc
@@msheldon70 Here's that bid in real time:

It looks fine to me.
