Kishoreda's voice demands your complete attention no matter what your'e doing. I take out time to listen to this genius. I never ever multitask while listening to Kishoreda because I get a feeling that I'm being disrespectful. As we all know, he had a gifted voice, which people listen to all day with the same admiration and love. There's so much creativity in the way he sang and every song of his is a creative lesson. His singing had the ability to turn any mediocre tune and lyric into an eternal song. Kishoreda's songs has the quality of making people fall in love with his singing at the very first hearing - 'Love at first hearing'. He was truly a born singer and entertainer. He's still entertaining the world through his songs, which he immortalized with a touch of his unmatched mellifluous voice and unrivalled versatile singing. In my opinion, Kishoreda is the greatest singer across languages and around the country of all time. Period. Trying to compare his voice and singing with others is like comparing the aura and brightness of the Sun with lanterns.

This masterpiece has all - great location, nice cinematography, wonderful acting by actors, excellent lyrics by Harsat sir, fantastic music by Kalyanji - Anandji and melodiously sung by Kishore da!! A true classic :) I miss these kind of gems a lot in today's music. Melody was at its peak in 60s and 70s and deteriorated post 90s.....

One thing I can understand, is that Urdu was given up replaced with what you call Hindi., so poetry was missing/declined. But other than that, the infrastructure remained.

Mindblowing singing by Kishore Da. He packs so much emotion in his singing . Incredible. I have tried several times to sing this masterpiece but that emotion is missing. The subtle variations in the song is difficult to master. I am a big fan of Kishore Da like so many other fans. Hard to believe a person with no formal training in music ruled the industry at one point of time. A born genius with a beautiful voice . It just pierces through your heart. So much variety in his singing. Jaane Jana Dhoondta phir raha to Dukhi Mann mere maan mera kehna with varying intensity is simply incredible.
