Thanks so much for the video. I just got some stevia seeds and realized I have NO idea how to grow it:) Covering and keeping them warm and moist is what I learned! Thanks again.

I just planted some this week. I can't believe they came up in four days. At first I thought it must be a weed but no, the rest of the seeds were all up the next day.

I had the same results. Now they have germinated, does anyone have any idea how to encourage faster growth?! TIA!

    I LOVE the "blinds" idea!
Never thought of that- even tho, my neive took a pencil to MY blinds, this spring- in my kitchen & I ended up having to wash them ALL OFF! (bay windows, are LOVELY, until its time for cleanin'em! 😉)
When I use "saran-wrap", (usually- ONLY "FOR seed(s)") I write:
    [In your case] "8-cell"
(Or how ever many "cells" the size of the wrap- IS)
This way, I KNOW the "size" of the piece- I write the (cell #- and I refer to the # as the "size" I need)
Simply, write the # in 1 corner, then just "ball up" the rest!
I keep my, "balls" ALL in a basket on my porch! (Easily accessible & "grab-n-go" friendly!)
This way, as I'm walking out with a tray- I can toss the plastic wrap, right into the bucket/ seeding table! (IF I'm "Gardening off" & they'll be coming right back inside! )
This way- I can just grab & go, when I need a "cover", without 'HAVING" to rip off another piece, UNLESS- the piece I need is already being used!
I made 1 box of "saran wrap", last me 3 months shy of 3 yrs! Talk about co-inky-dinks!
Hope this helps someone out there! Maybe give some inspiration!

When you do as mentioned. How often would you water them?
I have some growing in my green house, and was told to harvest , and the darker ones will be the seeds that will germinate,. and one gets very poor germination.

I am going to do this. None of mine this last time germinated and I didn't do much of anything the way you just showed, so I am going to give your way a try. I have a question though. I will be using the dome type cover seed starter tray. I understand everything you specified, but my question is, when you said they need light to germinate, would you put the dome starter under a grow light? My lights are the LED grow lights and they are not the expensive strong ones. So would you use a grow light, or will any type light do? Which would you say would work the best? Thanks for any advise you can offer me.

Yes put them under your lights. They will work fine.

How long did it take before you can transplant stevia. Mine germinated amazingly quick, but they are growing very slowly.
      Thank you in advance!

Can Stevia be sweet at the early stage or at maturity?
