the desert with his ICON vehicle dynamics stage 5 kit ! Testing the rigs hard, rock crawling and hi speed desert running! It was a blast ! What suspension should i go with?

Most definitely running it thru the paces. I’m super surprised nothing has broken yet. Especially on a newer truck stuff usually falls off going over the bump leaving the dealer

I have icon stage 2 on my 15 canyon. Have had 2 separate shock leaks and 1 was right after I had it serviced by icon. Down the road I’ll be switching to bilstein most likely.

My 34's rubbed on that plastic also. What I did was take it off the truck and cut a big chunk out of it and put it back on. It looks stock until you look into the fender opening.

Do you have a full-size spare? Reason that I ask is that I see the stock 31/32 in the under bed location.
I’m on 35s & have debated whether to get a full size spare. If I ever get a flat up front, then I’d just have to do a 3-way swap to keep the smaller tire at the rear. Not the worst, but certainly more work.

Yeah it’s the stock spare , eventually I wanna do a spare tire swing out on the rig ! I’m gonna use my old 35x11.5 as a spare bit for now it’s the oem spare , thanks homie I appreciate it ! 🤘

Never ! I do not like that cross member drop stuff those big lifts make you do 2.5 inch front is perfect and doesn’t ride like poopy lol
Putting a 6” lift on any truck is going to create a significant upward shift on center of gravity. That alone is a non-starter for many of us.
@@krasnaludek298 yea thats true just 3 inch lifts just dont look as good as the 6 inch but its prob better to stick with 3 inch for performance wise

I got a bad ass deal on the z71 I got it for 40 k screwed the sales guy and the zr2 wasn’t out yet and I needed a ride 😂
why you switch from the falken RT's?
I just wanted 12.5 wide my rts were 11.5 lol and falken didn’t have that size in rts :/ I like the mts tho !

I see the icon shocks say up to 2.5 inch lift. However the at4 and z71 have a factory lift. Is that same ride height or is it 2.5 higher than the factory?
Tan z71 has factory specs my rig has a 2 inch puck lift and and a 2 inch add -a -leaf

Did your lift remove the factory height making your truck 2.5” higher than an LT/WT or maintain the factory height making it 4” higher than an LT/WT?
@@HatWearingDog the z71 is the same as the wt\lt stock just has bigger tires so overall I have 2 inch in the front and 2.5 in the rear !

Lots of mods ! I should have got a zr2 but I couldn’t wait for them to be released at the time ! But the z71 does the job !

@@Downtimelost thats why I went to chevy performance ball splines on both of my zr2 s if you lift the colorados 4 inches or more they tend to split cv boots
