In absolute numbers, the United States has by far the highest number of immigrants in the world. This represents 19.1% of the 244 million international migrants worldwide, and 14.4% of the United States' population.

All right. So interestingly, Mexico has been the number one since the 1970s and immigration, and the year 2006 2007 you started to see a dip and then it went back up. I wonder what happened in those years.
Then in the year 2014 up until now the numbers of Mexico started decreasing. It's still number one which I don't see that anytime soon being different.
Mexico immigration is starting to rise slightly but it's still most part steadily going down. Interesting.
