I cannot give enough credit to the skilled hard working flight crews that have to work in these adverse conditions.
Amen to that!
I will second that
Also everyone on ground and controllers (both air and ground).
Yah they have it soo tuff lmfao do you even know what a hard day's work. They never had it so good. Here's one try delivering milk in the ghetto ha ha ha 😂
That UPS 747 takeoff was incredible
I'm very proud of those pilots, they have lot of responsibility for all passengers tanking off in very bad weather.
Anyone can do planespotting in good weather--this takes dedication. Thank You.
Gorgeous! the snow makes the sound awesome too
Thanks! It sure does!
Much respect for you plane spotting in a blizzard!!!
Thanks! My pleasure!
Those deicing crews are not messing around!
This is the spotting I like seeing iced runways hi winds tuff piloting great video top shelf 👍
Can we just take a moment to give a round of applause (thumbs up) to this mans dedication to getting us this video?! I live and work at DTW for Delta as an aircraft deicer, so I was watching how all the other hubs and cities were handling this. So I know very well that while it was still light outside at MSP, the wind-chill was like -25 to -30. YOU sir, are a LEGEND!
**Subbed**
I’m going to be completely honest… this was the snowstorm prior to the aggressive -30 windchill one. This one was much warmer. Your kind words are greatly appreciated regardless! 🙏🏻
i don't leave comments but this was absolutely amazing to watch
I never reply to comments, but I couldn't help myself.
@@scottmattern482 me neither
your Dad sent me here - I remember in 1988 going to see a plane in the hanger at MSP only it was the middle of the night after a class reunion. We'll just leave it at that. Have a fun trip to Vegas!
Bwhaha. Thanks I most certainly will!
You're a beast for going out in the weather to capture this🥶 I did a quick preview and then set this to the top of my queue for tomorrow morning's elliptical. This should keep me feeling cooled off 🙂!!
Thanks! 👏🏻👏🏻
Videos are recorded for commercials money 😉.
Nobody would have been there in those weather conditions for free.
Yes God Bless them all. Their skilled craftsmanship is so appreciated beyond words.
That’s a world-class snow removal crew. Live here and I love your videos. It's great to have the hometown flavor. Thank you.
Amen to that, they’re the best in the nation IMO. Glad you enjoy them, it’s my pleasure.
Awww man!! I wish we'd get some snow down here at ATL. I haven't been spotting in accumulating snow since January 17th 2018. You did one hell of a good job here!
All fun and games until you have to go out in it then suddenly nobody knows how to drive! That’s a hot minute. Dang. Thanks Matt! 🍻
I could plane spot all day at a place like MSP especially in the winter! I give so much credit to the pilots, FO’s and flight crew for the magic they pull landing and taking off in weather like this day after day! Especially the smaller commuter turbo props! Amazing videos love the channel! I’m also a snow bird from Buffalo NY we get some crazy snow as well!
Congratulations to these brave line pilots for their extraordinary work at this difficult time.
Realy cool perspective with the snow and I enjoy the atc chatter.
What a wonderful way to end the video… beautiful A350 climbing into the clouds. Love it. Thank you for much for sharing!!
Thanks!
Wow , thanks for going out in these conditions to show us what was happening on the ground
My pleasure!
This is pilots really earning their pay. All their skills and thousands of hours flight experience pays off big time
Thanks for braving the weather to bring us another magnificent video!
My pleasure!
Great camera work and editing. Nice catch of the Dornier Metro -- haven't seen one of those in a long time. Hope you didn't freeze off any body parts out there. Enjoy the rest of the holidays!
Increadible job and amazing catches! Snow weather is a deligt from a tropical place.
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!
What A Crazy Snow Storm There Buddy😛😝😜🌨❄️!!!
Excellent captures in blizzard conditions!!! Inspired to use my flight benefits to visit MSP just to watch all those Sun Country beauties and the ultimate heavy...UPS 747✈. Indoors of course.
How do you manage to spot in this weather, you are amazing 👏
Beautiful video ❤
Lots of layers and hand warmers! Thanks!
Well done! It's been rough here and now the cold winds are blowing. I'm flying out on Xmas Day. This is great footage. Most people wouldn't leave the house let alone head to the airport to catch jets in action.
Always classy, quality stuff on your channel. Thanks for another great video.
Thank you! 🍻 Merry Christmas!
I love Delta ❤️
Amazing video! Great work in those weather conditions 🙂
Thank you! 🍻
Prime Air cool livery, first time seeing it . . .nice at 6:49
The person who took that video, very nice, very clear, congrats.
Oh some reverse ops too. Nice
This is legendary spotting, amazing job!
Thanks!
Happy to see some one spotting at my local airport MSP…
Thanks for sharing this video. Awesome pilots with this kind of weather, almost a zero visibility.
Another wonderful masterpiece! Happy (belated) New Years, hope you and your family had a great one! Keep persevering, enduring and striving with your amazing work and efforts that you do greatly and pay off! I wish you and your family nothing but all the best of everything and have a wonderful, cheerful, safe and well deserved year with your New Year’s resolutions achieved! 🤞🎉🍀😄
Thanks for going out in that mess. Superb video work! Stay warm :)
My pleasure! Thanks! You as well!
One of the best snow videos out there 🤌
Thanks 🙏🏻
Awesome catches of B717-200s N998AT, N919AT, & N896AT I love B717-200 aircrafts.
Excelente trabajo. Situación muy fuerte y agresiva.
This is amazing! Glad to see some plane spotters at my home airport ❤️. Just curious, when was this filmed?
Thanks! 12-15-22
thank you for braving the cold to stream this
My pleasure!
Pure Minnesota atmosphere. Nice.
Pretty much! Thanks! 🍻
Absolutely amazing work!!!
Thanks!
great snow spotting, the type of content we can only see on your channel
Ah! now I know why FedEx delivers before UPS in the mornings... LOL
great footage!!!
Thanks! 🤣
That Southwest Airlines plane is probably still sitting there waiting to be cleared for takeoff to this day
🤣
Wow! You got it all. Thanks so much.
My pleasure!
@@twincitiesaviator brave folks including you. Was 77 here in Oceanside Calif but interestingly, our San Diego airport closed due to fog with flights diverting to Vegas for a while.
Kudos to the ground crews. MSP rarely closes, and when it does it's only for the conga lines to make a pass. I'd rather fly out of MSP when there's a snowstorm than anywhere else.
The US Air Force taking off was a treat!
I ❤️ my MSP and the Twins Cities
it's like driving Audi in the snow
Bellissimo video complimenti 👍👍👍👍
Salute to all great job 👏 👍 🙌 👌
Bellissimo video complimenti👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Nicest thing about living in upper midwest and Dakota's is: you can always move somewhere else!
HAHAHA
another great video!! this weather is god awful but the planes are still beautiful
Thanks!
13:30 This is the rarest moment we see a 737-700 with split Scimitars
THis is why MSP is #1. Show me ANY airport that could maintain this level of operation in these conditions. Most airports would be crippled
I was on one of those Delta planes.
awesome video...im freezing just watching your video🥶
😄
UPS 74 takeoff was cool
05:40 So close to a tail strike !!
Excelente, todo el trabajo.
大雪遮盖了跑道上的标志,给飞机起飞降落带来了莫大的困难!
Great footage! Was this all handheld?
Thanks! Yes, it was all handheld.
@@twincitiesaviator your hands must have been frozen! Thanks for your response
@epic.gamer7 After hours of filming in conditions like that, yeah, they’re a bit frosty. I will say that the elevated humidity helps vs the dryer air. That and handwarmers!
mint, thank you.
My pleasure!
Great video! Just subscribed 🤗
🙏🏻
Terrific stuff.
Thanks!
Is it my imagination or do I see Delta fly in and out in bad weather, but America cancels flights all the time.
🤣
Same with United
Terrific!
Thanks!
amazing video mate
Thanks!
Brilliant Video!!👏👏👏
Thanks!
Ok, that was awesome!
Is the camera good in snow?
Very much so, just get a UV or blank filter for the lens to keep snow out of it. The gimbal system within is exposed to the elements.
will the gimbal system stop working or can it get wet@@twincitiesaviator
Is there a fee for de-icing the planes?
Great Question! If the airline deices their own planes, then no. If an outside company does it, then yes.
Gnarly job!
Thanks!
Hiw often did they have to stop the planes to plow?
It always depends on how intense the snowfall is. Sometimes every hour.
Great video
Thanks!
havent been able to watch the Whole Video yet so if you dont mind me asking, Did you happen to see MANY Southwest planes taking off or landing.......LOL
This was filmed before they fell apart.
Lol that poor southwest plane
You should come spot my plane. Leaving on Feb 15 on delta 757
في هذه الأجواء. التكنولوجيا. تقود الطيار
Were you on Post Road?
THAT WIND SOCK IS NOT MOVING. A CALM NIGHT FOR TAKEOFF AND LANDING.
THAT IS CORRECT.
I live near msp
Lol the first delta airbus was my plane
i don’t understand how planes can fly in conditions like this.. it boggles the mind..
Pretty wild isn’t it?
I'd skip that thumbnail ✈️.....lol.hahaha
Hahaha
It would be nice just to stay home on days like this. BUT!!
🤣
-12 degree cold
Funny thing it was actually a very comfortable 32 😂.
Looks like some choppy flights!
бидона срочно в студию хе хе
It is called f****** cold
🤣
These airplanes are designed for this. No problem at all.
What the heck is Sun Country Airlines?
MSPs hometown airline
