also not only would he nitpick your driving, once it became his time in the driver’s seat you cannot convince me he wouldn’t drive like an absolute lunatic. The only enjoyable part of of the experience would be watching him gaslight the cops, and that would only be fun until you end up taking the fall for it somehow.
The reason Albedo and Kazuha weren't available is because they went on their own roadtrip. I'm thinking Seattle to San Fran. They'd either listen to philosophy lectures or drive in total silence; and at the end they'd both say they had a great time.

My two finalists were Kaveh and Beidou 😂 Beidou just seems very worldly and like she knows the best spots to stop at and see the sights, and Kaveh can tell me fun facts about the architecture of famous landmarks and we have similar temperaments so we'd get along. I refused to pick one, I simply couldn't T_T

If you're going on a road trip to Texas, Chongyun would not survive that trip- Especially not going through Arizona and New Mexico as well. That just would not go well at all-

Xinyan is definitely the person I would go with. Fabulous taste in music, pretty chill personality, fun sense of humor, and we know from different events that she’s pretty well traveled (Inazuma and Fontaine are two we particularly know about). Frankly I think it’d be a fun time
I can just imagine a roadtrip with the Kamisato team, Ayato behind the wheel (I HC he knows how to drive and probably has a bunch of expensive cars; probably picks Ayaka up from school)
Thoma in the passenger seat holding the food basket, and emergency bag, Ayaka and Sayu at the back, controlling the playlist in the car and making occasional requests to make a stop at mcdonalds
They would be so chaotic 🤣🤣 Ayaka would stare too hard at one fluffy stufftoy or book she wanted and Ayato would probably whip out the credit card

Doing anything with Bennett is 100% going to become an adventure to be remembered. Of course there'll be at lot of problems, but Bennett always comes out on top. That road trip would make us best friend forever 😊
yeah his luck works in a way where it's never fatal, so regardless of what you'd get out alright. Plus he grew up with it so has experience with dealing with it.

I’d ABSOLUTELY go on a road trip with Xinyan!!! She’s my second favorite character (I love Zhongli, but I think Xinyan would be way more fun), she’s got good vibes, and she’s a total sweetheart! We’d have each other’s backs and have a blast
2:34 Layla sleeping at the wheel would be a disaster. I'd pick Ei cuz at least she's not chronically tired. Layla would easily wreck our car by sleeping at the wheel....unless Im next to her helping her steer but I'd rather not deal with the hassle to begin with.
Also my headcanon AU Ei did driving school before taking this roadtrip so...yeah picking Ei so our car doesn't become a smoking wreck .
Layla's other personality would take over once she passed out, so it probably would be okay.

Summer camp tier list, who are the counsellors/staff what kinds of staff are they, different types campers, which cabin started a prank war. Who tells ghost stories, who hangs out at craft tent, who got lost, who almost drowned at the lake, mom pick my up I am scared, who helps the counsellors, which counsellors got caught making out at night, who caught them, confessed their love on the last day of camp under the stars and then kissed (camp tradition). Secret gossip circle which counsellor found out and joined in. Which counsellor’s start a betting ring about which campers are going to confess at the last day. Just some suggestions if you do a summer camp tier list, this is supposed be an sleepover camp and I figured it would be fun and make sense since it is almost summer.

I would go on a road trip with Al Haitham. I mean there is the great chance that he would either ignore me or complain the whole time, but I feel like he can drive really safely, be prepared for the worst kinds of situations, and he would have some interesting facts about different landmarks that are found along the way. Honestly I think that the first two are the most likely situations but I also have 'Al Haitham Bias' since he's my favorite character. Either way, this was a great video and interesting. Please keep up the great work.

cyno would create some sort of roleplay like theyre running from the cops (cyno youre- nevermind) and you two are partners in crime and he’d just keep talking. also he’d play like,, car games like “name a place and then you name another one that starts with the last letter of that first word and you cant repeat” (played that one quite a bit on long drives).
zhongli would effectively be a tour guide and go deep into the history/fun facts about the places you go or things you see. which i would love.

Liking Noelle more than Diluc (or simply not liking Diluc) is a good enough reason. Because, Noelle might pack food, but you can bet Diluc has his staff put everything together, luxurious stuff and all. Plus, if this is modern AU then I'd want to drive Dilucs expensive car. 😂
one time driving home i ran into a massive traffic jam in the middle of nowhere because of an accident further up. We were stuck there for HOURS driving at a snail pace, literally going so slow that people got out of their car to take stretch breaks or walk along side it.
About an hour in we see a guy behind us get fed up and start to drive up the far left side (yknow the tiny sliver of road between the lanes and the grass) to overtake everyone else. A pretty douchey move, but nobody could stop him ig.
Except for one. A gigachad. A hero.
A truck a few meters in front wasn’t having it, so positioned himself halfway across the line at the side of the road to essentially block this guy from cheating his way out. Cue this guy sticking his head out the window to yell at the truck driver, cursing and honking his horn, but to no avail. The truck refused to budge, even letting everyone else go around him while keeping the guy trapped for even longer because the line of cars was impenetrable.
Anyways this bracket fight reminded me of that, and now im trying to decide if wanderer would be the truck driver or the guy in the car lmao.
i would choose to go w thoma bcuz dude would be prepared for absolutely everything, u got a scrape from tripping on a small stone? “here! have a band-aid n some candy to cheer u up!” plus he can use his pyro vision to light a fire incase somehow we get lost n we gotta camp outdoors for the night, he would also have the best snacks incase somebody gets hungry
I'm from NYC and there is this tabletop gaming convention me and my friends go to out in Indiana. One of the years, I was driving through Pennsylvania, and was going 70mph on the 60mph stretch of highway. We pass by a state patrol car, and I slow down to the speed limit. As the state patrol car passes us, he gives a little warning finger wag... then proceeds to pull over the New Jersey driver 5 cars in front of us for going 5 miles over the speed limit.
Suffice to say, my car died laughing.
I feel like Dain would be an "All about the journey" type of companion. He'd talk philosophical a lot, but I feel like he'd also entertain ridiculous conversation topics as well. He will indulge in us wanted to go off track because he would totally do that for himself too. In the Caribert quest line with him, he revealed something important, but postponed our eager investigation because his drink hadn't arrived yet. If we are adults, but on the younger side, he'd treat us to a drink once and a while for the experience , also because he wants a drink too. Dain would go to a McDonalds for an ice tea break.
As a Yanfei main, she might actually be a good choice for me personally. I like podcasts, she would find loopholes to speed to get the drive done faster, and chat away with you when you guys got tired of music.

Traveler gets car tunned, new wheels etc, for the trip. Bennett gets in and you keep getting flat tires. Eventually your car breaks down in the middle of nowhere and there's no cell service so you have to walk a few miles back to the nearest gas station.🤦🏽♀️

a few weeks ago i went on a trip from home in midwestern germany to about middle of italy... our trip there went fine until our car died about 16 hours in we were still like 3-4 hours away from our destination had to wait 2 hours for the towing truck and then take a almost 4 hour taxi drive... which had the trip end at 22 hours, that was literally the worst trip ever in my life until the trip back because we couldn't get a rental since we had a trailer we needed to take with us and apparently italian cars don't have a trailer hitch... we had to have someone drive all the way down and pick us up... we were sitting in a small car with 5 people for 20 hours... literally could barely move and even though my brother could've taken over as well the friend of my mom insisted on driving both rides HIMSELF without and sleeping break... i was never so scared for my life and needless to say i won't drive anywhere longer than like 4 hours ever again D:

Ganyu has serious dietary requirements (she's a strict vegetarian, can't eat fried foods that contain animal fat, only whole grains etc) that traveling with her would be extremely hard. Travelling with Itto and the gang would basically be the Hangover: Genshin edition. Not sure about your hc about Ayato not being able to drive. This guy handled himself pretty well in a lot of things.
Once when i was about 10-12, i was going back home from atlanta and it was 2 AM and everywhere was closed and me and my family were in the middle of nowhere and then i threw up (in a bag) and we had to stop so i could throw the bag on the side of the road

Ok but scara definitely can drive. He’s also one of those guys that has like… a whole bunch of random skills so it wouldn’t be surprising if he’s even able to fix some things. But the thing is… no matter what he helps you with he’s always gonna be INSUFFERABLE about it first. Tons of unnecessary comments and insults and overall stuff that’ll make you want to throw him out while the vehicle’s still moving. And as mentioned in the vid, ridiculously inconsiderate. Probably also speeds and cuts people off a lot, and then flips people off after passing them. And if by some miracle you get One decent conversation going with him, it will promptly be interrupted by him getting pissed off at someone he thinks is going too slow or inconveniencing him in some way and basically you will never get that brief moment of peace back….

As someone who goes on a 15 hour road trip almost every year to visit family, I love that you want to still go out after spending 10 hours in a car.

I would probably pick Noelle. I like the idea of a musical companion but I'm kinda not fun enough to be on a road trip with lmao. So I need a more calm and responsible person with me. Someone to talk to a lot and share silent moments listening to a song that means a lot to me or to my friend. Share life stories and stuff.

I actually headcanon Ayato as a really good driver. He'd respect the speed limit and all the driving rules, but I feel like he wouldn't scold me too much if I didn't. We would have a polite, interesting and deep conversation from time to time but we could aslo spend a couple or more hours of comfy silence / just listening to music (because yes, I also headcanon him listening to music that I like). He'd be punctual in the morning and would definitely know how to deal with any issue on the road. The only possible downside is that he wouldn't bring any food, but it's fine because in all the trips I've gone with friends I'm the one who brings the snacks (and I bet he'd invite me to McDonald's or any other fast food franchise in exchange)
The other characters and what they would do, driving/roadtripping:
Xiangling - cooking at the last row of the van somehow.
Xingqiu - reading out loud stories after Xiangling set up a camp.
Beidou - Would bring you to the seashore and tell you about pirates.
Ningguang - Spoils you like the aunt of the year, telling you that you can buy anything you want.
Baizhu - Brings the medicine and supplies, just in case if we run out of gas.
Nilou - Would blast out the most beautiful orchestra music on the radio, and dance to it after Kaveh figured out how to set up a campfire using Alhaitham's method.
Kaveh - The one planning everything, because Alhaitham went first.
Dehya - The one who accidentally scared Layla because Layla thought Dehya was a Treasure Hoarder, but she was only trying to find somewhere to pee.
Collei - The one to tell everyone that the forest is safe, even if they're shivering, and the only one awake at 6AM.
