Yes, i play by ear all the way since 18. I know notes but its not the way i love to play. To learn i use "Transcribe" by Sevenstring software. All you need is to try try try and try. When i started (in 1997) here where i live no information about flamenco was available. Only Gipsy Kings and Paco de lucia recordings, and i started to learn them with tape recorder. Those were great times. Search for Denis Sedovich, you will se me playing my music, hope you will like it
