Summer is right around the corner, and having a small portable bluetooth speaker is great to listen to music with friends while you're all hanging out. So today were going to look at some of the best and most rugged bluetooth speakers all under $100. We're specifically going to compare the JBL Flip 4, the Sony Xb21, UE Wonderboom and Bose Soundlink Micro. All of these small speakers are tough and are a great option for summer 2018... but lets see which one is right for you.

Jack Konieczny I wanted the flip 4 but I couldn't resist with the lights on the xb30. Plus they have really gone down in price.
Sub Zero same. I got the xb 30 because if the lights and I was afraid the flip wouldn’t have enough bass. So I love bass but the xb 30 is still pretty clear. I got it red cause it was the only color on sale for 99$ but know that is just the regular price on amazon .
I got a flip 4 cuz two of my friends have jbl speakers with connect plus and it would be stupid to buy a different one, just because it has a "bit better bass".

UE Wonderboom is best for me. It cost £50 on Amazon during Black Friday (I think that’s about $60-$70) and perfect for the beach.
My favorite is the UE Boom2. This have a very nice Bt Range Akku and Sound :)

lets pray it can pair with charge 4, coz it is said that flip 4 cant connect with charge 3...pairing of both will be badazz...flip 4 has purity in trebles and voices in songs, charge 3 has quite the bass but you will feel voice and treble has been muffled.

How about battery life on Sony XB21 when you turn off the lights? Blinking lights to a sound of a music non-stop for a 6 hour must have some impact on a battery.

Since you’re reviewing audio products you really should get a better mic and choose a better room to do your recordings.
Bought the wonderboom for ruggedness, looks and amazing sale. Bought it for $60 here in INDIA. The flip 4 is like $110 here :/

Sorry but the review is bad. You dont have to open the bose app for connect the Bose speaker with another one. Just press Bluetooth and + together. Also the battery life you promise is wrong. I have two Micros and at 80% the will play music for about 5~6 hours. Sorry....

Battery on my flip 4 only lasted about a year and a half.... like the SoundLink mini you can't go too loud otherwise it'll shut off by itself

Sony and Bose are quite similar.Both have deep bass and crisp clear voice where as jbl just have high middle but low bass means (deep)
the sony srs xb21 have a party booster. you can tap this speaker to make some noise.

I have the flip 4 and the bose micro but i think as compared the bose is overall the best cause bluetooth speakers means you can carry them along as the bose is the smallest here bose still beats the jbl dont you think u forget to mention that and u dont have to use bose connect app for connecting other bose speakers u just have to press the bluetooth and + for connecting other speakers u review is too poor

Depends on your budget, I'd get the flip 4 - wonderboom is by no means bad but I think the Flip 4 is worth the extra money - it's quite superior
they're all about the same sound quality, but the bose wins for strapping to handlebar of bicycle. These are all compromised sound, though.
