Hi Lorien! Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment. I am sleeping a lot this summer too.....we start back August 21, kids the following Monday.....I have been mostly knitting socks as you saw, but have a few other projects I work on here and there....we have no a/c, so it's hard to work on anything big or very woolly....Your Milton is gorgeous!!!!
Hi Tammy - oh it’s been so hot! I hope you can jump in a pool or lake or cold tub! I’m back 8/21 too so knitting away until then!
I am really enjoying your podcast. You have given me so many project ideas and lots of inspiration. 🥰
Thank you! There is a lot of inspiration out there but I am trying to stick with my 2024 planned knits!
Knit what makes you happy but I’d like to see how the cardigan progresses.💕📚
Agree - I did start a few gifts and quicker knits but that cardigan is calling me…🧶🧶💕😁
Hi Lorien! Your finish is beautiful! I love a long cardigan. Joji nailed it with this design! I guess I’ll add it to my ever growing queue 😂. My vote is for the Oban vest. I test knit it for Thea, it was very engaging, and the fit is great. You won’t be disappointed. Tammi
Hi Tammi! I do love Joji’s cardigans! Oban vest is on the needles - plus four other cast ons!
So happy to see you back on youtube. I've missed you.
You’re so sweet! It’s nice to be on UA-cam.
Would love to see the Oban vest! I knit the Oban cardigan earlier this year as my first big cable project and loved it. Everything you make is very inspiring!
Thanks for your sweet comment. I did finish the rumble but cast on four more things - Oban vest included! Stay tuned!💕🧶
The Oban vest gets my vote! 😆
Agree - Oban vest jumped on my needles!🎉🎉🎉
Love how your rumble raglan is coming out! Great colors! Love your ideas about a multi color Ferda genser (?), or another rumble raglan. Less woolly wool right now makes sense though. Maybe that cardigan with the Nice and Knit super wash? I want to knit a similar raglan to the rumble raglan except it's a pattern by Beth MacDonald Stone. Still the 2x2 rib though, hers is all b&w. Enjoy the rest of your summer!
Ahh yes, I remember that design of Beth’s. I did finish the second rumble but started four other projects!😂😂😂 indecision!
I prefer cardigans without buttons as well, but I’d never really thought about the weight of buttons. That is a good point! I also appreciate the explanations of your mods to your Rumble Raglan. It looks like a fun pattern, so I can see why you would want to make another one.
Have you considered Anna Johanna’s Vintage Flannel?
I love the look of that pattern but I don’t think that I would wear it often. I will recap what’s left on my sweater list for 2024 in my next episode! 💕🧶
I think you should finish the rumble raglan before you cast a on a second one. If I were you I would make the baby dress and the oslo hat next. Both good warm weather knits
I did just that! Finished the rumble, knit the Oslo and started the baby dress (and a few other things)💕💕💕
I’d wait for your rumble to be completely finished before you start another, just in case. I’d go for the straight cardigan.
Excellent advice! Thank you!
STRIPED not straight, cardigan.
