I think Tigers will take Jack Whitlock (he can play both ends) with pick 13 and they’ll trade out pick 14 to Essendon for Melbourne’s 1st round and a 2nd round pick from next year. Essendon will then use pick 14 on either Armstrong or Shanahan.
@@ZirraTheGamingKaijuthey’ve got Van Rooyen & Fritsch as a mid sized forward. I think they’ll want an outside and big inside mid. Considering the form, offield issues and/age of Viney, Petracca & Oliver they need to start building a A grade midfield now. Next year’s draft has more key position at the top end.
good picks for Richmond mate though I'm not sure I like trading 23 (27 in this mock) for a late teens pick next year from West Coast - seems like it doesn't offer us much incentive given the weaker draft and raft of academy & F/S picks that will likely dilute the top end of the draft. I'd be asking for more or personally just take it to the draft unless the offer is exceedingly good. Wouldn't mind using one of our last 2 picks on Davidson from our VFL side who probably won't make it through to the rookie draft
This draft is so deep & even with top talent Richmond’s pick 23 the last on day one & 24 the first of day two drafting, are worth 2025 future first round pick each & a later pick back into the 2024 draft each, with the draftees this year if u want back in to the draft every team will pay overs in 2024
I don't mind Richmond taking a gamble on Trainor or Hotten but I'm not sure they should be taking both. I'd rather they take Murphy Reid instead of Hotten and if they really want him I reckon there's a good chance he slides to a later pick.
This would be an amazing haul for the Tiges if it happens, I do hope they use their first 4 picks for those mid/hybrid guns, and next year look for the most talented KPF if that draft is meant to be strong for talls
Love the creativity in this one. Most drafts are very similar, but the Bo Allan pick makes things very interesting. Also, you have such a crush on Xavier Lindsay lol
I'd rather Saints take Travaglia at 8 than Lindsay. Travaglia offers so much more with his 2nd in the 2km time trial, highly competitive, intercept marking, will be 190cm plus by his 20th birthday. And you can't ho wrong with either Smillie or Langford at Pick 7.
Good mock draft mate! Personally I'm fairly confident and comfortable that North will take one of the 3 in Tauru, FOS or Lalor with pick 2. Equally valuable and immensely helpful for needs and can improve North in multiple ways.
I like the melbourne picks. The go-home factor scares me though. We've already lost Luke Jackson which killed us and have dealt with Pickett rumours for a couple of years. But I like the logic you've used and you could very well be right.
Melbourne will take the best available. Don't see Melbourne taking Allan that high. Think Melbourne will take Langford and Armstrong if it is best available but if tauru slips I think they will go tauru then Allan with the second pick
Interesting that Hotton said on SEN yesterday that he thinks he's most likely going to Richmond or GWS based on discussions with clubs, especially those with multiple R1 picks.
To be fair though, Voss and Carlton have met with 4-5 of the top contenders, if the Crows do move to pick 2 as rumoured in order th get Jagga Smith, then Draper vs O’Sullivan becomes an interesting choice
There is absolutely no chance the Bulldogs with their first pick don't take Berry, Hannaford or Dattoli if the other two have already been taken. Small forwards are our number one requirement now without question.
As a Richmond fan id be filthy if we let shanahan, armstrong and jack whitlock slip. We need a key fwd more than anything, and getting one at pick 23 is far too late imo.
Saints should take the best available mid either Langford,Smilie or Allen and I can’t see them passing up on Armstrong if King gets injured we don’t have another genuine full forward and especially how Membrey is gone. Both needs and also glaring issues bottom 5 for midfield last year and struggled to kick goals for a majority of the szn.
Sorry but a small forward would be lowest of priorities for West Coast. Surely we’d take Murphy Reid out of your available options or trade down again.
Are you sure Allan won't still be available at 11, should Melbourne take Smith or Langford at 6!? There is only 3 picks (rich, stk x2) between those selections, given GC will take Lombard? Allan is ranked much lower everywhere im looking! 👍
Allan has been ranked between 12-25 in most mock drafts. Melbourne would likely consider Smith, Langford as you rightfully said or look at tauru if he slips
If Armstrong is available at Richmond’s two picks in a row ? Then Richmond wouldn’t be letting Armstrong slide 🛝 down the order ? We need a key Forward for the future and Armstrong could even be looked at with pick 6 ? If Smillie and Smith are there it may mean Armstrong gets to Richmond’ s two picks in a row ? But even then I wouldn’t be Surprise if Richmond went Armstrong and Shanahan with both those’s picks before others can select them before Richmond’s next pick 18 ? 🏆17 🏆19 🏆20 🐅🐅🐅
To be fair back unless you are inside the Club no one does? I have heard from sources that have a good record on things to do with Richmond that Armstrong is being considered it may not be a pick 6 ? But as Richmond have always said they go be there list on this not from outside views as all Clubs should do. A lot of Draft Platforms are just what Fans are hoping there Clubs are looking at ? No one knows every Club list. All these’s mock drafts are just views of someone thoughts that clubs may look at. So I’m not saying I know. I am saying I don’t believe Richmond will let a key forward that they may want slide that far ? Only Richmond knows where they rate Armstrong in this Draft. We will find out on Wednesday Night just where Richmond do veiw Armstrong? As if it past Richmond 1st four picks and he slides then they don’t veiw him as high as a lot do think they do. Even Melbourne could take Armstrong before Richmond so I guess we will wait till Wednesday night to see which Club rates Armstrong the highest ?
I dont think we should trade the hawks fut 1st. Hawks draw is much tougher than this year and they could slide next year before climbing again in 2026, although that is likely dreaming lol. If we were gonna get another pick this year I would be hoping clarke goes with the 2 fut 2nds we have.
But they also need a Dixon replacement - Marshall is 1 concussion away from retirement and even if Ollie Lord comes on, the Geelong rumours keep persisting. Hence all the talk they may take Whitlock.
With Voss going to meet with Draper earlier in the week, I think there are whispers that a deal for North’s Pick 2 will be struck with Richmond, with Richmond taking Lalor (1) and O’Sullivan (2). That’s what I’m going to roll with for my own Mock Draft, anyway.
Don't like either of your early picks for the Saints. Why would Saints take Langford, a slow, 190cm, left footer when we already have a slow, 190cm, left footer in Philipou? Better to take Smylie or Allen if he's still there. Then take Tobie T and not Lindsay.
If we trade hawks future first round pick for pick 27 Clarke needs to be gone after the pick 3 stuff up so Jess bombers trade there first round with GWS for pick 16 and we trade hawks for 27 no way you have to be a idiot if the Glorified Tictok boys have a bad year could be a top 10 pick
The rumour is Draper is going to go at pick 1, where Draper goes will dictate the top 5 picks, North want him I heard, if he is there at 3 with Fos Carlton take Sid, Adelaide want him with the drive home factor, Melb couldn’t go past him, SID DRAPER is the the number one pick no longer just a rumour
As an Eagles fan if Lindsay, Travaglia, Allan and Hotton are all of the board that will break me. Thanks for ruining my Friday haha
nah man Hannaford would be great. watch some videos on him.
Dream Tiger Haul: Lalor, Jagga, Travaglia, Trainor, Faull, Dodson. Replace Hotton with Armstrong. Perfect.
Richmond might take Travaglia at 13 but won't miss on Armstrong at 14
This. Could even say the same about Shanahan.
Melbourne will take Armstrong with their First Pick. They’re crying out for another decent Key Forward.
I think Tigers will take Jack Whitlock (he can play both ends) with pick 13 and they’ll trade out pick 14 to Essendon for Melbourne’s 1st round and a 2nd round pick from next year. Essendon will then use pick 14 on either Armstrong or Shanahan.

Absolutely horrendous draft for west coast. A future first for hamish davis? Absolutely no way. I'll burn down mineral resources
If Armstrong slides past pick 15 I’ll be personally calling Rosa to trade up to get him
Future first to Freo if he's still there? I have a sneaking suspicion Freo might load up for Warner in 2025
any idea how he stacks up against Caddy in the U18s?
@@griteom4538they are different players I think they’ll work well together
If Armstrong slides I would assume North offer their F1 which you would expect to be a higher pick than Essendon’s next year.

I do like Ollie Hannoford but we have to pick Xavier Lindsay, Murphy Reid or Bo Allan otherwise the pick 3 swap was an absolute waist
It was a waste regardless of who they take. It won't be one of the prime mids so thus trade period is nothing short of a complete failure
3 year contract now right ? Draft the best option and back your system and culture. Even if Reid is flagging he wants to stay in Vic.
Harley to Murphy to Archer .
@ archer Reid better debut next year and 3 Reid’s would be class
As a Richmond supporter, I'm happy with Lalor, J Smith, Travaglia, Hotton, Trainor, Faull, and Dobson 🏆🏆🏆

Dude if that happened to Essendon I would cry that’d be fantastic they’ve gotta get a win somewhere.
Shanahan Gross and Davis are excellent I hear.
WOW!?😅 Really Making Bold But! Nutty Picks.
Interesting that Hotton said on SEN yesterday that he thinks he's most likely going to Richmond or GWS based on discussions with clubs, especially those with multiple R1 picks.
Fantastic assessment, still not sold on trading our future picks, I thought we had a couple in the 20's anyway 💙💛🦅🏆

Watch Hawthorn come for one of Richmond’s pick of Shanahan is available mid to late teens
