Arles & Nimes: Roman sites day trip from Avignon (France - Provence)

Arles and Nimes are located approx. 30 mins from Avignon and make for a nice day trip. You can visit just once if you want to have a relaxed day or can try to combine both if you don't mind a long day and have an early start.
Both the towns are famous for their Roman sites, Nimes is a much bigger town and quite pleasant to walk and discover on it's own. The Roman sites are a nice bonus. The Amphitheatre in centre of Nimes makes for an impressive sight when you see it for the first time.
