Most beautiful 16th Century Theatre - Vicenza, Italy
Vicenza is 1h from Venice by train. It is a very pretty town with one of the most stunning 16th century theatres. The Main Square is surrounded by architectural gems. Vicenza is also a good base for a day visit to Lake Garda.

Ravenna is 1h30 from Bologna by train and has some stunning mosaics dating back to the 6th century. Ferrara is an ideal day trip from Bologna as it's 30 mins to reach by the fast train. It is 1h30 mins from Venice. We visited Lake Garda from Vicenza s a day trip. While there are many towns on the lake we had got to Sirmione. If you go on a busy holiday weekend, there can be 2 hour long queues to get in and out of the tiny town !! The castle on the lake and the walk around the town periphery by the lake was awesome!! San Marino is 45 mins bus ride from Rimini or a 2 hours away from Bologna. We visited the Enzo Ferrari Museum in Modena, Italy. There are two museums in the region and a Shuttle bus connects the two, as we were visiting a parmesan cheese factory nearby, we popped into the Modena museum. We went to Mount Srd which towers over Dubrovnik for the sunset and wow..such amazing views!! You can go up by a cable car or Taxi / Uber. We visited the ones near Hillegom (It's on Haarlem - Leiden train route). They are at about 5-10 mins walk from the train station.

Hi! May I ask which company did you book the tour with? Thank you!
Hi Emily. I searched the voucher in my inbox and annoyingly it has the aggregators name and not the Tour company's but there are mainly 3-4 operators on the ground so no matter how you book you will end up with one of them and all the day tours to Montenegro are same but there are 2 versions either including Budva or giving extra time to Kotor. I would say you can go for extra time in Kotor to make it less hectic. If you are thinking about Croatia or Montenegro in near future then just email your queries to info@vinagotravel.com and we can provide you additional insights and tips.
