Wow what is it with Italy trips and nearly dying when landing, I went to Italy with school and when we were coming in for landing we suddenly pulled up bc apparently the pilot just forgot to put the landing gear down
like 3 years ago at christmas time, i thought i had the flu and i just chilled in my bed for maybe 2 weeks. Then my dad took me to the hospital bc this obviously wasn’t going away on its own, and it turned out my appendix BURST and i had poison or whatever all over my insides and was on the brink of death lol. then they found out i had a blood clot in my arteries or something and had to inject blood thinner 2 times a day for half a year 🤪
I've never heard someone explain throwing up as making a masterpiece but I'll take it bro. "Love that for me, love that for my family" has me crying laughing
My near death experience: When I was like four My older sister and I shared a bunk bed. She took the top bunk and I took the bottom bunk. One day out of freaking nowhere, little four year old me was taking a nap and this dingy ass, wooden bunkbed c o l l a p s e s. I was nearly crushed and impaled ✌🏽. Moral of the story: never take naps.
Fun story: a few years back I went to Mexico and then a camping trip with my family like a day after I got back. I was throwing up and couldn’t keep anything down including water in 110F degree heat for three days :) Turns out I had a parasite from Mexico and after several hours of driving to the nearest doctor I got a shot to get it out of me.
Omg Vueling Airlines. My parents always make their own sayings based on bad experiences. "Ik krijg er een Vuelingkje van" -> This is giving me a Vueling, means getting very uncomfortable/claustrophobic/the feeling of being locked up, in our fam 😂
Tell me why the exact same thing happened to my family in 2015. We went to Italy and walked around Rome in the heat all day, visited the Ducati cafe where I had a pizza but my mum had a burger, then once we were back at the hotel she was horrendously vomiting that night. We just thought she had like a stomach bug lmao
this just unlocked a memory of me and my brother as children (around 10) being stuck in the current of the ATLANTIC OCEAN?? by the beach in spain, and me lowkey accepting death in that moment, my throat raw from screaming for help lol love that but suddenly a lady on a surfboard grabbed us and the waves stopped as she did that. fun fun fun times
This was how I almost thought I was gonna die. My mom thought I got mercury poisoning while in Macedonia. Note: We were already in Macedonia at the time. So I basically got a fever before we were gonna go visit my cousins (2), my sister, and I's summer house. So my mom decided to take my temperature, you know like normal. She told me to put it under my tongue and the thermometer was made of glass. And I actually broke it because I pressed down too hard, truth be told you were supposed to put it underneath your armpit. My mom started kind of freaking out that I had mercury poisoning so went to the 2 different hospitals (one was an actual hospital, while the other was a private practice). and the kicker was that I showed no signs of any type of poisoning, it was all in our heads.
This video reminds me of when I was touring colleges. My dad and I had flown out a few days earlier, and my mom came and joined us for the last part of the trip. I got sick in the middle of the trip and had to fly with a double ear infection. My mom and I flew back separately while my dad went to visit his parents. We landed at 1am two time zones behind the departure city only to find that my mom had completely forgotten where she parked the car at the airport, so we drove around for over an hour, until we conceded defeat and checked into our hotel. We spent another 2 hours trying to find it the next morning, and we had to caravan back to our house (my mom and I driving separately), about 100 miles away from the airport. Surprise surprise, I got pulled over by the police for the first time. I finally made it home and was still dying due to said ear infection, and had to go on antibiotics and a nasal spray. For about a week after that I would randomly get nose bleeds because the nasal spray had dried out my sinuses.
I got horribly sick in Italy too! Dangerous place. But I wasn't in Rome, I was on a ski trip in the north next to the Toblerone mountain. And I don't think it was food poisoning, I think everyone at the hotel just got the stomach flu one by one. And I of course got it THE NIGHT before traveling back home and stayed up all night puking my guts out and then had to get on a 3 hour ride to the airport down windy mountain roads on a bus that smelled like aged Italian cheese because of course everyone brought cheese back! And then get on a plane. How I managed to get through that journey without throwing up I do not know.
I think all near dead expiriences could be funny... It's just a subjective perspective... I nearly died from a stroke... It was really serious but incredibly funny... Such a good story to tell... It's all perspective
Two times I almost died: 1) While on vacation in Las Vegas, I ate this amazing kale salad at a restaurant which ended up giving me food poisoning and caused me to projectile vomit. 2) While on a plane traveling to Beijing, China, our plane started shaking sooo violently I thought our plane was going to crash. At the time we were over the Pacific ocean so I really thought that was the last thing I was ever going to see/experience. I also thought about how cold the water would be. Not fun.
I once went on summer vacation, got food poisoning (didnt throw up but it all came out of the lower end of the gi tract) and on top of that i got my period the next day, so i had diarrhea and period cramps, nausea and i felt like i was going to faint because of all that plus the dehydration and heat
imagine this: you have food poisoning, are on an international flight back home that was a nightmare, a small demon is kicking your seat and screaming, and you just hear "WAAALLL-EEEE" in your headphones. there's also the time i fell off my bike in amsterdam onto an old italian man who swore at me in italian. vibin and thrivin.
This will be weird, but I was in Rome on vacation at the end of June in 2015! We also went to the Vatican, I remember it being around 40 Celsius that summer! small world!
Omg I relate so hard!!! I threw up real bad after eating at a restaurant as a kid and I still have issues with eating a lot of food and being nauseated all the time! It’s sucks but I’m glad to know I’m not the only one traumatized from experiences being sick
Got some heat stroke on my way back from Japan like 6 years ago, now I get morning sickness almost every day n I can’t eat certain foods anymore (eggs, pizza, etc)
I 'escaped' a shooting in a macdonalds I was visiting Munich with my parents in summer '16. We were doing a lot of activities that vacation and it was super hot outside, the subway is +10 degrees Celcius higher than outside so i was dying everytime we were taking the subway. anyways mid-vacation we planned to go see the olympic stadium and shopping mall, and we travelled by subway but i suddenly got sick (also exhaustion + lack of sleep + i am a sensitive baby) so i threw up in the middle of the subway (very embarassing), so the next stop we took the train in the different direction and went back to our lil vacation house. I went in the shower, got some sleep, and when i woke up it was all over the news that there had been a SHOOTING in the SHOPPING MALL in the MCDONALDS (3 people were killed) and the rest of the vacation there was police and shit everywhere.we really dodged a bullet there since we didnt have wifi in the vacation house, we often went to the mac for free wifi. so yea
in July 2019 I had and indigestion (I guess this is how you call it) in Siena: I have never felt that bad in my entire life. I was sweating and cold at the same time, my stomach was KILLING me and I also did a masterpiece with my mouth in the bathroom of the hotel. I'm so sorry for my mom and my friend that had to witness this...
When I was about 9 or 10 I went this playground I would go to every day after school and I had a skateboard with me and decided it’d be a good idea to “skate” down the slide so I did and the skateboard came out from underneath me and I nearly snapped my neck on the corner of the slide
something actually kind of similar happened to me?? I was sick coming home from mexico, and I saw that we were nearing my town and I was like thank god, get me off this plane, but then our landing gear didn't come out and we had to circle the city for an extra hour before we could land. Not as near death, but definitely frightenig for someone who was sick and already afraid of flying
The only time I’ve gotten sick on vacation was in Italy. I threw up on a bus and then my sick slid all the way down the aisle when the bus went up a hill.

real g’s read this title and said ‘didn’t he already make this?’
came back to pay respect to that moth ❤️
Oh my GOD how did dehydration and food poisoning lead you to never be the same again?!
It's Mike, what do you think? 😂
if youre like me and you get traumatized by puking....

vueling was right ! fun fact I spent 8 hours in split airport with NOTHING to do because the vueling flight was delayed so that's clearly a thing
Holy shit I had the same thing! My flight to Spain was delayed 5 hours and we only got £12 meal vouchers for it
this just unlocked a memory of me and my brother as children (around 10) being stuck in the current of the ATLANTIC OCEAN?? by the beach in spain, and me lowkey accepting death in that moment, my throat raw from screaming for help lol love that but suddenly a lady on a surfboard grabbed us and the waves stopped as she did that. fun fun fun times

I’m CRYING. This video is so underrated 😂😂😂
Best story teller I’ve ever heard!

yes Vueling!!! They lost my moms baggage and it somehow landed in Berlin while we went to London :)
I 'escaped' a shooting in a macdonalds

OF COURSE it's fucking Vueling doing this to you. That's how you know the full trip is gonna be cursed.

THIS IS LITERALLY THE BEST VIDEO ON UA-cam 🗣️
When I was about 9 or 10 I went this playground I would go to every day after school and I had a skateboard with me and decided it’d be a good idea to “skate” down the slide so I did and the skateboard came out from underneath me and I nearly snapped my neck on the corner of the slide
one time i poked myself in the eye with a capri sun straw and had to go to a&e lol
thats sounds awful mike but im glad your ok. the fact you have a aircrash playlist sounds exactly like somthing id have
something actually kind of similar happened to me?? the description of the video made me think about SNL's Stefon
I keep coming back to this video every time I'm sad.
It never fails to make me laugh, specially 7:55 to 10:12
Hi I'm here again lol
I'm here again since he mentioned this story on the latest video ups
But you can eat minced meat raw if it's fresh? Like tartare? It's very popular where I live
Last May I got food poisoning and ever since I'm always nauseous, 24/7. It's horrible.
See this is why dua lipa is important cos then u can remember that the plane did a full 180
i love your end screen

my comfort video
why this video is so iconic
I was waiting for you to say you got renal failure, but when you described your vomiting as “qwitaataah” I could not handle it.
LMAO I got ads playing in the middle of "I got up and went to the bathroom-" and the suspense was KILLING ME it was like at the HEIGHT of the drama!!!
never tried to decide whether my near-death story is fun before
How is someone SO NATURALLY FUCKING FUNNY
the rome trip was a cultural reset
Mustache! I didn't expect that
My thrive-points were negative
A series of very unfortunate events

the BRAVERY of telling the whole world about when u got food poisoning.. i could never.
Mike: an acute angle... 100... idk 100 and something. A b o o j e e angle
We got food poisoning in Italy in the same year, were basically the same
the fly listening to the story \👁👄👁/
Vuelling is right...
vueling omg... my worst enemy
That explains why there are no pictures of you in Rome on your Instagram
edit: It is indeed Vueling
If anyone has landed at Adelaide airport, you know how it is.....all you can see is roofs and buildings then suddenly you're on the tarmac!!!!
*heatstroke happens because you don't hydrate*
*youtubers* "I'm going to tell you about that time I nearly died."
i love you too
Okay but it feels so weird not having the end screennn
shout out to the fly that photobombs sometimes
a roman holiday?
Shout out to the fly that keeps zooming by
I’ve had food poisoning before so I’m sure the plane crashing would be a welcomed sight
yea im spanish and vueling is a low cost gal, you get what you pay for....
it could always be worse... it could be ryanair *escalofríos*
Vueling Airlines is correct, it has yellow engines and is from Barcelona
