I love rise against this was hard to watch. I understand tho with all the screaming and deep pitches the vocalist makes. (sorry i honestly am not aware of their names yet cause i haven't listened to them and checked their background out a good bit yet) he should seek some vocal coaching. Not because of him being bad or anything like that, but because i think he still has spirit and can still sing great songs and has the ability to perform well live if he just rests his voice a bit and takes some vocal coaching

he's been singing and screaming for over 20 years, his throat is properly fucked and he'll probably never sing like he used to again. but another thing to take into account is that this is an outdoor festival and his voice will be strained from previous songs

Well he's fine with singing using "old style" on short distances so there should be nothing to hold them back during studio recording...BUT the question is - do they want to do the "old style"?
It's all up to them. I'm shocked they haven't started playing songs lower to make them easier to sing for Tim - their choice.

Another thing to consider is if this was towads the end or beggining of the concert. If hes done 10 songs prior to this one then thats gonna affect his voice. Its like going for a workout, youre strongest and most effecient at the beggining and you get tired and strained towards the end. I think that was the case here.
