Fanatics Collect just announced that they will provide direct grading services through PSA for hobby collectors and investors. Submit your raw cards to Fanatics Collect, Grade with PSA and sell on the Fanatics Collect Weekly & Premier Auctions.
Cajun cardboard is a UA-cam channel featuring basketball card collecting and investing, fantasy basketball content and general historical and modern NBA Basketball content. I AM ALWAYS LOOKING TO BUY SPORTSCARD COLLECTIONS. No collection is too large or too small.

All of the slabbed cards I personally own that you see in these videos are in my Fanatics Collect Vault in Tigard, Oregon. I choose to store these cards in my vault to lower costs, insure them, protect them and eliminate the concern of damage resulting from fire, flood, humidity, theft or Cajun Alligator attacks down here in Louisiana. I do not hold any of my Graded Cards in my personal possession or in my home.

Now this changes the way I will hunt raw cards. Game changer! With the cleaned up fixed price market place added to the weekly for options, we have a fully self contained ecosystem. Genius. And I can send them all to the vault and decide what to do when I see the grades.

I’m about to send some vintage cards to PSA at the National but I don’t think many of them will be valued over $50. So maybe I should just go straight to PSA

That’s a great question. I’m not sure I’ll need to check into that. They made no mention of an expedited turnaround time unless I missed that part.
@@cajuncardboard not that I would ever use CGC for grading, but I remember them saying they contracted an onsite grader to turn cards around within 48 hours I believe. I wonder if they ever got an onsite PSA grader or two how great that would be.

what if i have a high-end Mike Baker 'raw' card already in my vault? can i have them submit that to PSA?
Yes. Thats a great question though about how to coordinate adding that to a raw submission from your house you are shipping in. I’d reach out directly to your Fanatics Collect rep about details on that, I don’t think they have thought that far ahead to be quite honest with you. It sure would be nice if you could add that into your grading submission instead of having to ship it to your house and then put it together with the others and then ship it right back. That would be very costly and needless.
Trying to figure out PSAs biz angle on this. They just massively increased collectors club fee. Why wouldn't everyone just cancel membership and grade this way? What am I missing?
Also curious what happens when your kukoc PSA 8 doesn't sell in the weekly. Do they charge you $3 then?
Great question about the unsold. I have no idea. My point was the Kukoc shouldn’t be in the weekly. It should be in the buy now priced reasonably or on eBay BIN priced reasonably or both.

How about giving you the grade before they slab it. Charge $2, $3, $4 or $5 per card for the grading with no slab. That would make to much sense though. How about somehow making all cards worth the slabbing cost minimum? How about coming up with a grading system that gives PSA 1-9 have value? The crash is slowly happening now and when it fully comes it will be biblical.
