I have never thought about learning phonics before. Just jumped in reading without knowing sounds. Maybe so i m still struggling with pronunciation of some words. But thankful to you i m easily managing with any difficult words❤

May I ask what sound should we teach in( the) 'e 'part

The sound is called the "schwa" sound, but I would not openly teach to the kids at this stage, just get them to say /uh/ instead of /e/.
