Thanks tor the graph. I am hoping for clear skies Saturday and Sunday when it should still be decently visible with the naked eye. My plan is to go to a dark sky site. Wish me luck.
Wishing you clear and stable skies! The weekend will help given the moon will rise later, and hopefully the comet hasn't dimmer too much. I've been using this website to keep track of its magnitude: theskylive.com/c2023a3-info Keep us posted!
No luck. I was able to figure out what Star Walk called it (A3) and went out to look. It appears to be hidden by trees. I know a place where I might be able to see it tomorrow. We also have some cirrus clouds to the west.
Hopefully the clouds give way tomorrow. It's gotten a bit dimmer over the last day. Current magnitude is 2.1, though there is an interesting anti-tail to the comet right now given it's passing through the plane of the Earth's orbit. Today's spaceweather newsletter documents this: spaceweather.com/
Yeah, it's currently down to magnitude 3 and dropping. The moon should be rising later as the days go by, but the comet also gets dimmer. Universe's way of saying "can't have your cake, and eat it too," haha! Clear Skies!

Thanks! I was trying to find it in Starwalk, but I may have the name wrong. I’ll try to find it tonight.
Would love to know if you were able to catch it -- clear skies!

The full moon is not helping out. It looks like it's fading fast. Not as bright like it was on the 12th and 13th
