My dear daughter took me to that concert and just bought me an Eric Clapton signature Stratocaster,, black she has been so good brings tears to my eyes.
I traveled from Prince Edward Island to see Eric in the flesh and though he didn't play a few of my favorites it was still epic! 87 and plays like 50 yrs old. He jas been my guitar slinging soul of the blues..wish I could be at the crossroads festival. After a 50 year chase to see my idol in person I managed to check off number 1 on my bucket list.
I traveled all the way from Ottawa to come see Vaughan and Clapton. And I had managed to yesterday. Im so happy as a 20 year old. Getting to see what Rock is Really about
And here am I, same age as Clapton, watching this wonderful Toronto concert from Australia! We oldies can still get our fingers to do stuff on those strings! Thanks for posting this.
@@ryanmedic789 Yes we were in Antigua in 1991 and we stayed in a thatched roof hut down the road from his house. We met him in the office there and on the road several times. Really nice and gracious man. He was always wearing blue jeans, a t shirt and sandals. We could here him playing his acoustic guitar from time to time. 😊
Surprised that EC played this song for some reason. Still, we loved it and loved the entire show in Pittsburgh. Ran up the steps to dance one more time to Wonderful Tonight with my wife of 42 years...special. Very special.
His concerts are masterpieces. Musicians should learn from him. U see him and then what is out now. U feel.sad that u cant enjoy new bands and new musicians anymore. Hope he can still play for a couple of years more. God of guitar!
it was an alright concert.....could have been better if he did more of his hits.....the songs that made him what he is....like after midnight, forever man....lay down sally, and some of the stuff that he did with cream....he only did down to the crossroads...... and lets not forget about......let it rain.....

I envy you so much and I'm very happy for you
I also wanted to fulfill my dream of seeing my hero
but this addition will remain a dream ((
I also traveled from Ottawa to TO to see this legend for the 4th time.

I saw him in St. Louis just two days ago. Best concert I’ve ever been to, I’m 66 years old.
I was there too... such a great show!
I was there. Great show.
I was fortunate enough to visit an island in the Caribbean years ago and meet Mr Clapton. What a nice and unpretentious man he was. Love his music.
I went to Antiga and our catamaran tour went by his house.

@@bobfrye5731 Wow, that's amazing 👍
He looks and sounds great. Everyone should see EC live at least once in their lives.
Saw Jim 17 Times in the last 50 years❤
I saw him in Columbus, Ohio back in 2007. One of the best shows I've ever seen.
I want Eric to sign my Clapton Stratocaster . ✨🇨🇦✨🎸
Send him round to mine afterwards, to sign my standard Strat. I'll put the kettle on.
@@RockyDaveSounds cool man 😊
Two people have given your comments a 'like'. I'm one of them. Who is the other? Eric?@@trevorgwelch7412

I've been listening to Clapton since the Summer of 1966 (57 years). Holy Toledo...
Great show, I was there.
I traveled from chiapas, mexico just to be in this amazing performance, it was a great night..
Slow hand never disappoints .. an incredible musician and concert in Toronto.
His backup singers should never ever, ever hear the word backup again. Bravo ladies!

Good to see and hear Eric and his band play with such energy.
Excellent lyrical solo. Inspired for sure. Thanks for sharing!
My fave song of his.

thanks very much for the video. Master is vintage wine.
Wow! What a act of superstars!
So happy to know about him, I wish one day...
Exactly one year after I saw Clapton in Detroit.
Cool...
Where was this? Never heard a word about it, I’m 2 hours from Toronto.
This is what music is ...puts todays "artists" to shame ....all of them !!
I was there.
Me too -thank you for preserving this memory for us!
Me too!
Me too .. was ammmmazing !😅
Same :)
So Andy is back on the road again!
Are those column speakers/monitors on stage?
I believe those were lights...
Does Nathan have a 6 string bass
Been playing one for years. Best damn bassist out there.
Eric is the best!😊
Only 8 months of sleeps until his Birmingham UK gig
bel video complimenti by dj fulvio
Been about 300 cycles caving, being brought 9 more
Love Clapton, love JJ Cale, love the riff, but this HAS to be the stooopidest song of all time!
Who’s the other guitar player?
Andy fairweather law I guess
Andy Fairweather Low. He's played rhythm with one top guitarist after another since his days with his band Amen Corner, and his solo career.
Andy back in business?
Still backing many of the great guitarists, I guess. I think anyone knows more about his craft than anyone.

Not exactly a show stopper performance from Clapton....but at 80...I guess it is what it is.
I am the same age, and I also recovered from a deadly Moderna vaccine injection. It was a close call/ Nice one, Eric.... glad you're OK.From Toronto.
This is not 2023!
Just as boring now as it was in the 70’s.
Why ya here, piss off
