I have never in my life ever seen such a non-legal move from a casino all casinos are required to hit on a soft 17 they can only stay on a hard 17

Many casinos have different rules with their games, including some stay on soft 17

@@perfectpair sorry that's not correct casinos can have house rules but it's a gaming commission rule that requires them to hit on any soft 17

That may be the case in your state, but many other states and locations do not have that regulation. For example all casinos in maryland, deleware, Pennsylvania, florida, are just a few that have casinos that stay on all 17’s
