Perhaps Paul was annoyed because he didn’t want the gospel to come through the voice of a fortune teller. He knew that the people of this area knew of the girls ability to predict the future, and make money from it. Paul wanted the “pure” gospel, not a tainted one from someone known to practice magic, or some form of fortune telling.
